"I had expedited delivery of a few items. It was supposed to reach me a day before I was to travel abroad. I then got a mail saying that the order had to be cancelled because one of the items (worth $6,500) was unavailable. Well, why did it then say on the website that it was available? That upset my plans to the point that I couldn't order my stuff from anywhere else in time."

Horrible and Worst Experience with A Vendor or Business in Recent Years!!!
I went online to rent a video project (Canon RealiS SX80 Mark II Multimedia Projector - Gray) on March 24th and David was the person that walked me through the online process for Order # 1151636 to rent the projector which was approximately $53.44 He seemed to be very customer focused at that time and informed me he would not be working on Saturday, March 25 that a young lady (Evanna I believe pardon the spelling) would be working. So fast forward to Saturday, I went to the Hoboken location to pick up the projector and I was expecting to pay some type of equipment deposit...but me and a buddy (KC) was not expecting what we experienced when the young lady who did not appear to be customer focused...shared with us about the deposit. She said in addition to the $53.44 the deposit would be 50% of the value of the projector $3,900+ dollars so they would need to put a $1,900 deposit in addition on my credit card and that the policy was on the website. I am a retired Army Major and Head of HR leader in my company I deal and hire vendors all the time for my Medical Device company and I have never heard of anything so absurd. You can purchase a project to connect to a MAC for $300-$500. I am not sure if this was race related, but I believe things happen for a reason. My buddy found a company highly rated on Yelp for customer service ArnaudAV360NYC.com who actually met me in NYC and brought me an Epson Project for $108 with no security deposit...He also brought (3) Mac adapters, a power cord and a long extension cord and then said since this is your friends 60th birthday party and a special event please call me and I will walk you through the set up and Arnaud did that. We have several celebrities at this celebration and we mad should they new Arnaud's contact information and we also made sure they were aware of the horrible and unnecessary experience we had at Unique Photo Inc. So they are passing on this information to their networks. I would highly recommend ArnaudAV360NYC.com they are demonstrate true customer service. I will also contact my Visa card company and share the experience I had with Unique Photo.

"I paid extra money for express/overnight shipping and it took a full week to get my order delivered. I sent emails to the company requesting someone to contact me and no one ever did. I also requested a refund for the shipping charge which I did receive only after Google help stepped in asking about my experience. Once they did I received an email saying the package shipped, but still no reasoning behind why it was delayed. I don't understand why no one from the company tried to reach out to simply apologize for the delay. It's a good thing I planned ahead because the items ordered are for a birthday this weekend and had I not my fiancé would have not been getting her present on time.....not a good situation."

There was only one negative if you can call it one. They don't email you when they ship your package. However I am signed up with USPS, UPS & FEDEX so I get tracking info anytime a package coming to my residence. Their prices were the best plus they had everything in stock too. "
