"Got the Gainward geforce4 ti 4600. Made 3 calls to the sales dept. First call they told me only 20 cards came in and were already shipped. Could not tell me where I was in the queue. Second call they told me the card would ship on 3/13/02. Third call on 3/13/02 they told me card would ship on 3/14/02. It did. Also received an e-mail on 3/14/02 with the FedEX tracking number. In my opinion the sales reps were not enthusiastic, or professional. They gave the impression that they did not care about their jobs and that my calls to them were an irritation. "
"After spending 2 months or more researching digital cameras we started to shop around. It's amazing how many on-line shipping deals are NOT deals at all, over prices shipping forcefull sales of accessories , out of stock, slow ship dates etc. HOWEVER, in the case od ZEROSHIPPING.COM I was very very impressed. Starting with the salesman, Greg, He did suggest some useful accessories but was in no way pushy when I turned them down, his answers to my questions were very simple to understand and not rushed. the product priceing was great and not offset by rediculous shipping and strange insurance fees. In fact as their name says, regular ground was free and for second day was the same as I would pay, no over inflation here.... Thanks a lot guys. This is how all online stores should do their busines. I will be happy to recomend you to anyone in the future. great job in setting a good example for the rest.....Thanks Greg."
"I do not have any problems with their product..actually I think it is the best mousing surface on the market today.
My problem is this...I ordered the UT mouse pad from the web site, after I received the confirmation ackowledging my purchase,I received another e-mail,from them telling me that the UT mouse pad is now on sale for 6 bucks cheaper.I know,I know....6 bucks is nothing..right?.....wrong.I know that this company knew about this particular mouse pad was going to be on sale the day before I ordered it,so why not give me the sale price?
My friend was ordering the same thing at the same time, and he too,got screwed. So all in all, they make a good product, but I would never recommend them to another friend,or purchase anything ever again from this company."
"Product as described. Thanks. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "
"Very poor service and communication. Processing times are longer than advertised and different sales reps tell you different stories about inventory, shipping times, etc."
"Poor communication and service"
"Purchased K7T266, AMD Athlon XP 1600, Thermaltake Volcano 5 combo on Dec 5, 2001. Order received Dec 10. I attemted to install on Dec 22. Would not boot. Left message w/ tech support on Sat, Dec 22. No call back. A call to tech support on Mon, Dec 24 resulted in my sending combo back "for testing" at my expense. Tracking indcated package received at United Micro Dec 28, 2001. A call to them on Dec 31 informed me "it was not in their database yet." Hold up was because of the holidays. Continuing to call on Jan 2 and Jan 3, 2002, I was told a replacement would be shipped on Jan 7th. Call back on Jan 7 to be told would not be shipped until the 8th or 9th. During a call on the 8th the agent informed me "it is not in our system. I demanded a refund. I was refused a refund because it was over thirty days since the initial purchase. Even thought they had posession for thirteen of those thirty days. After 45 minutes on hold the order was found. Mike told me they would "test" the combo and and send it as soon as possible. I received the replacement combo on Jan 11, 2002 on invoice 0048299-IN. Unpacking I realized it was a new mob w/ the same CPU. It would not boot. The invoice indicates it tested OK. After numerous unansered messages left w/ tech support I finally got a human being. I was told I did not buy my RAM stick from them and that is where the trouble was. So, on Jan 16, 2002, I purchased 512Mb of DDRAM. It did not help. I told them I would send them the whold bundle back if they would put it all together, make it work and return it. Sipped it back. At my expense. Jan 23, 2002 I received and installed the combo. The RAID controller did not work. CALL BACK!! Feb 7, 2002 I received another K7T266 in advance and asked to "please return the old motherboard promptly." Well, it finally did work out. 2 months, 3 motherboards, 2 CPUs and untold grief + SHIPPING!!! And I was treated badly. The initial price seemed low enough, but nearly $60.00 in shipping it back and forth is ridiculous. I would do myself bodily harm before dealing with these deceptive, boorish people. "
"Their support is terrible. The floppy drive controller on the motherboard I ordered was broken. So I sent the motherboard back for replacement following their instructions. I received the exact same motherboard that I had sent in (the same one, not just the same model) two weeks later. Attatched was a note claiming that there was no problem with the motherboard. I decided that I would try testing it again. Maybe they had fixed it and had just forgotten that they had. Well, instead of merely having a floppy drive controller broken, themotherboard does not even power on! They actually further broke my motherboard and sent it back to me. I have send it back for service yet again (shipping is becoming expensive) and have received NO word from them in over two weeks, and I shipped it three day FedEx. I would urge thst no one do, or try to do, bussiness with United Micro.
PS. The invoice number and day I gave resseler ratings was wrong because United Micro also failed to send me a copy of my invoice as they promised."
"I would not recommend ordering from this company. Especially pre-orders. They do not fill orders based on date placed but rather randomly. Placed order on 3/2/02 for Gainward GF4. Still have not received order even though others who placed orders after 3/2/02 have received theirs. Order from this reseller at your own risk."
