"I ordered 3 Belkin cables, opened 2 which turned out to be sufficient. Requested and was immediately granted an RMA for the 3rd which was unopened. I was impressed but thought was par for the course. Then the other two, which were opened, turned out not to work for my configuration. Figured I would get a hassle returning these two. But again, requested the 2nd RMA which was also immediately granted with no questions. These guys are terrific."
"absolutely ridiculous. these guys are a joke. ordered 2 133x sd memory cards from corsair (simple), got 2 junk cards from kingston 10 days later. the kingston cards weren't a roughly equivalent model or even from the same kingston line... sweet bait and switch. if that weren't disappointing enough, customer service seemed totally disinterested with the idea of helping me get the correct order. they also tried to get me to pay to ship them their mistake, which i thought was a nice touch. at least they were nice enough to agree to waive the 15% restocking fee and credit me for my paying the shipping if and when they recieve the incorrectly filled order... lovely. i think the most disappointing part was the attitude from customer service... i deal with a lot of vendors in a lot of aspects of my career and personal life and i would say that i'm a very well-mannered and calm person on the phone, particularly when trying to get a mistake or miscommunication cleared up. i am usually very pleased with the candor and helpful nature of customer service reps on the other ends as well... i've not been so frustrated with a pair of phone calls prior to this. ever. (i had to call back about an hour later because, while i got answers after the first call, i was so focused on keeping my cool that i wasn't sure i'd gotten my information correctly. second associate wasn't much better...)
i'll never order from them again.
... i will read reviews here more carefully next time and will be getting an account number before paying for shipping out of pocket as well."
"Sent generaic SD card instead of described Kingston card, didn't work, now I'm out unless I want pay for the shipping to return it and wait another 2 weeks for them to send it. This practice is dishonest. It was a GENERIC SD Card instead of their advertised Kingston. sheez."
"I ordered a 1GB SanDisk xD Picture Type H Card. I received the absolute lowest price I could find using TechBargains.com, Pricewatch, Streetprices.com, etc. I paid no shipping charges and it arrived 3 business days later, exactly as described. "
"Eeverything as expected, great price, excellent service and quick shipping.
I am ordering another RAM module right now.
TN, Pennsylvania"
"My experience with Upgrade Nation was a negative one. They shipped me the wrong motherboard (a MSI K9N Neo instead of a MSI K9N Platinum). I have no time to put in an RMA as I am leaving the country with the product in 3 days. The rep I spoke to was not very helpful and sounded like he could care less. Given that I have no option but to make do with a lesser product unless they replace it, they could at least have offered a discount for the trouble they caused me. The other thing is, they have the correct product in their Edison, NJ warehouse and I could have gone over and exchanged it right there (since I'm in Edison) but they don't allow that."
"I found this company with Yahoo Search, and found what I needed at a reasonable price with no shipping charges. I got the product in reasonable time and am happy with what I got and the price I got it for."
"ordered a motherboard on 4/2/07, received it on 4/5/07. everything was there and appeared to be in good order. it will probably be a month or more before i get to use it. hope it all works. at this point, i'm impressed with the sevice"
"A great experience, no hassle, this was an order to replace one that was out of stock. Easy to navigate website."
"Great response. Answered my email and question promptly, courteously and completely. Shipped quickly & at low cost. I won't shop Dell for an upgrade ever again. Highly recommended."
"Yikes! We ordered one thing and got another. Apparently they have in their "fine print" that "what you receive will be something with the same name, but not necessarily
matching the picture or description!"
What a scam - bait and switch at its worst, avoid avoid!"
"Wanted to upgrade memory in a Dell pc that used RDRAM 533MHz, PC-1066 memory. Subject vendor had the best price & was one of the very few offering that product. Order was placed late on a Monday afternoon; product was received in the mail on Thursday & was exactly as ordered. Would definitely check first with this firm re future needs and would not hestitate doing business with this firm again."

The Upgrade Nation website advertised a SanDisk brand 2GB sd card. They did a "bait and switch" on me...What I received was a GENERIC (white label) sd card that was not readable or recognizable by my pc or my Palm Pilot. It was "not recognized" and was not formatable.
I requested that the correct card (name brand SanDisk 2GB SD card) be sent to me (as advertised - SanDisk 2GB SD Card). I was given a return authorization code and told to mail it back via USPS and the postage would be reimbursed to me...
I was told that they will refund up to $4.95 for return shipping charges. I can send the item back via USPS priority.
I mailed the (incorrect and defective) part back to them postage paid (by me). What they mailed me was another GENERIC 2GB SD card!! and they they never even refunded the postage to me ($4.10 is my cost). I've sent 2 emails that have gone unanswered.
I don't want the GENERIC SD card - that's not what I purchased. But I will not return it again because I'll be out the purchase price AND another $4.10 for postage to mail it back to them!!!
As of this date, 1/3/07 - my credit card has not been credited with $4.10 for the postage that I paid on their behalf...I have give them more than ample time to refund my money.

Order Details:
Code Item Qty Price Total
FM-SDS2G SANDISK OEM 2GB (2048MB) Secure Digital SD Card SDSDJ-2048
1 $41.00 $41.00
Sub Total: $41.00
Tax: $0.00
Shipping: $4.95
Grand Total: $45.95

I would have never made the purchase if I had known that what I was really buying was a GENERIC SD card. What I want is a full refund of $45.95 (my purchase price plus shipping) + $4.10 (the postage that was promised to me). Total: $50.05. And if they want their GENERIC SD card back, then mail and additional $4.10 for the postage. That would make the total = $54.15.
I would advise everyone to go else for their online purchases!! They have a very poor business ethic imho.

"Excellent service. I tried to order directly from manufacturer. Upgrade Nation offered the same product at a lower price that enabled me to purchase , ship and insure for less than the manufacturer sale price. Upgrade Nation followed my instructions for delivery and provided me electronic feedback through all transaction stages that allowed me to track my purchase delivery remotely from another state and notify my house sitter when the package had arrived and to retrieve it from my front porch. Excellent."
"UpgradeNation is a friendly, courteous, reliable and prompt supplier. They handled an exchange based on changes to meet my needs. I recommend them as a good memory supplier with a free shipping option."
