"I sent in 2 Samsung S7 Edge phones on 2 separate tickets. One phone was paid for within days, at a lower evaluation, but that was ok. The 2nd phone was held for 2+weeks after receipt with no messages to me as to what was the hold-up. I finally received an email saying that the “Find my iPhone” feature was on and I needed to turn it off. I responded saying that it was not an iPhone and it never had any type of find my phone service turned on, nor did it ever have a passcode. I questioned as to how do you use an iPhone feature on a Samsung phone?
Within the time of less than 1½ hours of informing their ‘Buyer’ (MyTecell) of this I received the following excerpt from an email from them; You indicated that the condition of your device was Flawless but you actually sent the device in Damaged condition. Your buyer also noted that: We chose the damaged option because your device has heavy screen burn that is VERY visible. Your device also has a passcode and we will not be able to use the phone, it is not even worth for parts because of the screen.
Funny how everything changed within that small time frame.
Because being a totally disabled person, this Samsung s7 Edge was only used in my home office in the back part of the house in case I needed to call my wife or children on the house landline in case I needed help. Facts about this phone… It was, since the day I received it, in a fold over HARD case with a full-face screen protector that curved to cover the edges of the phone. The phone never left my desk. I did not use the phone for data unless one of my computers was down. I always had the setting turned on to turn the screen off after a few second, in fact, I hardly ever had the phone on. It never had a password and there was not the slightest indication of screen burn in. With working on computers for over 48-years I know how to check out electronics and screens.
I do not trust this company’s buyer and to me it sounds like it may be the old Marine Corps adage we used called CYA when you got caught.

"They have received my phone 9 days ago. I have emailed Usell twice and their buyer - gsm twice as well. I have been ignored by both each time and I am still waiting to receive my payment or at least an email. If I do not receive anything by the end of the week, I'll assume that they have stolen my phone. They have no customer service available and they just rip people off. Amazing how they are quick to remind you to send your phone to them but when the time comes for them to pay, they are nowhere to be found. Never doing this again. "

"The phone I sent was in excellent condition and the buyer got it was reduced to good.. There were not marks and the screen was in perfect condition. The phone was in a case and screen protector was on it from the time it was new. Seems like someone is trying to pull something. This phone was same phone that was sent the first time and it was in peter condition to and there was no problem. "

"Please don't be fooled by this sit like I was. I did read the reviews but went for it anyways. My phone was "FLAWLESS" when I sent it in. They send you a very thin plastic envelope with a tiny amount of bubble wrap. I wrapped my phone in extra bubble wrap i had in my house, before I mailed it. I get a quote of $97. I just got an email that the quote was changed to $17, due to scratches that they themselves had to have put on it as there were NONE when I had it. You're better off selling it yourself. "
