"My experience with Velocity Micro was pleasant from beginning to end. Selecting and upgrading my system of choice was very easy. The process was well laid out. When I received my PC it was well packaged and all the contents were nice and organized. Last but not least, my system runs like a dream! "
"Just received my Velocity Micro Vector. This is my first time buying a customized computer so I didn't really know what to exactly expect.
I had considered several other brands but finally settled on VM because of great reviews, the lack of BBB complaints and price as well as the perception of genuine quality.
The ordering experience was excellent, the sales people were very intellectual and very nice. The offerings are great and they are all retail as opposed to OEM. They even provided the full OS program.
The hardware is extremely high quality. The interior of the case is amazingly neat - cinched up wires and cables and all. Very pleasant just to look at the case.
I ordered my Vector with the VX case (A Chieftec) in silver and it's beatiful. One note, though, I can't find the case keys. I guess they forgot to pack them in.
Another note, my Vector is based on an AMD processor and the motherboard that was available is an Asus A7N8X. Excellent motherboard but I would rather have had the E-Deluxe version only because of the onboard SATA. Other than that, it's great. When I decide to put Raptor drives in my machine all I have to do is add a PCI SATA/RAID controller.
Well done VM. You and Envision Computer Solutions will eventually be the only viable custom PC makers around if you keep up the quality and consumer focus.
I've always been fascinated with Alienware and always said that when I had enough money I would definitely love to have one. I percieved AW as top of the pack. Thanks to websites such as ResellerRatings I didn't buy one."
"my Velocity computer cost $2,502.78.i have "put up" with it for more then 2 months now , i would not buy from this company again.
i researched components and companies for months.Velocity is 30 minutes from my home, supposedly offered what i was looking for,and THE REVIEWS EARLIER THIS YEAR,WERE A BIG FACTOR IN ME CHOOSING THEM.they are no longer getting ALL great reviews, and i can attest to that.
until last week ,i had a faulty MSI motherboard in my PC,AND I DID NOT KNOW IT. Velocity did,BUT VELOCITY HAS ANOTHER COMPANY HANDLING THEIR SERVICE CALLS WHO DON'T KNOW IT.(I CALLED znet 2 days ago to confirm this)SO for 2 months i endured CRASHES,ERROR MESSAGES,WINDOWS NOT BOOTING,2 REFORMATS,AND MANY TIMES SAYING TO MYSELF "what is wrong with this thing now" calling znet, all this was blamed on everything from Windows updates to "delicate hard drives".NEVER was i told to contact Velocity by these people. after the second reformatting,i called Velocity and was told within seconds of looking at my invoice that i needed a new motherboard (now an ABIT)they knew of the problem but have tried to downplay just how many of these bad boards are out there. YOU KNOW THESE WORTHLESS MOTHERBOARDS ARE IN PEOPLE'S COMPUTERS BUT YOU DON'T TELL ZNET THIS? no matter what excuse they come up with ,i personally feel this is inexcuseable.2 MONTHS OF HEADACHES ,I KNOW I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS.
I now have my PC back.it was not ready ontime.software originally installed was left out (they are working with me on this now)the shortcut keys did not work (no driver installed).outlook express at times disappears and the PC must be rebooted.Guru software that comes with new Abit motherboard (to overclock and speed it up ,this motherboard is not as fast as previous bad one) causes it to crash and is worthless. my problems with the Driveclone software (to create a bootable recovery disc) are a story in themself. let me just say ,Velocity gives you a number to call Farstone ,BUT THEY HAVE NO PHONE HELP. YOU MUST E-MAIL THEM ,WHICH I DID 5 DAYS AGO.I HAVE HEARD NOTHING.
The Velocity Binder you hear so much about is nothing more then cd's in plastic pages.originally I had 4 software programs on my PC for my 2 dvd drives. i had no idea what controlled what ,and no idea which cds contained which drivers.NOTHING IS EXPLAINED and there is nothing personalized about this at all.i have done so much trouble shooting and searching on this "thing" that i have spent little time to actually use it for the creative projects i intended.
i would like to contrast this with the fact that my other PC is a well over 4 years old C*****, running windows 98.IT has been reformatted only once. I took it out of the box and it worked and i have NEVER had to call C*****.I have had troubles with my cameras, with software ,with a scanner but that PC ,AT HALF THE COST OF THIS ONE ,has been "old reliable".
i can not say that Velocity has not tried to help and they have been pleasant. as it now stands ,they are promising to send software.ON the other hand ,hearing that THEY TOO have had problems (and i have their e-mail as proof) with some of these same issues does not help. for example, they suggested using a specific brand of DVD-R in trying to create a recovery disc with DRIVECLONE.why not include this information in this worthless binder?
to sum this up,there are 2 main reasons i suggest you look elsewhere.Velocity has hired another company to handle their service calls and your chances of getting any real help are slim.the first time WINDOWS would not boot ,I had an excellent tech who talked me thru the windows recovery.the second time ,just a month later, when recovery would not work ,i was instructed by a tech with an attitude and a kind of HO HUM ,you have to REFORMAT.(I have ,because of my new motherboard ,now reinstalled my programs 3 times since March ,taking literally days to do).
the second reason is,to me ,the unbelievable fact that you would hire another company to receive the calls of people who are OBVIOUSLY GOING TO BE CALLING WITH PROBLEMS ,BUT you don't tell them you've got bad motherboards installed in some of their computers.(how many? ask Velocity ,i do not buy their answers or excuses concerning this).
i can not even say that my PC is running perfectly now.i have had it back ,9 days and it does appear to be running better .the worthless Guru software has been uninstalled ,my problems creating a recovery disc(much needed i would say)are still unsolved (software or dvd writer i do not know, but dvd writer will not open some files that other Lite-on drive will)Outlook express still sometimes disappears (PC must be rebooted) and other little quirks.maybe other people can accept some "quirks "for $2500.i think this PC SHOULD have been better and more reliable then an old C*****,it IS NOT.
AND WHILE I have to be honest and say that they are pleasant and trying to be helpful ,they have in no way AT ALL tried to make up for my first two months of misery with that motherboard.thank you."
"All of the positive reviews for Velocity led me to purchase a high-end AMD 3400 CPU based-system for home use that is configured for both gaming and video editing (1.5 gig of RAM, ATI 9800XT 256 meg video, 320 gig of hard drive space). The initial customer service, as well as the build quality of the unit, was of the highest quality. There have been ongoing problems with screen freeze-ups and random system restarts that their tech support at ZNET have not been able to correct. After a few calls to ZNET, I lost confidence in them since they did not seem to be familiar with SATA drive configurations or any BIOS or driver issues that may be causing these problems. It has been frustrating to pay thousands of dollars for a computer that is less reliable than my three year old Dell laptop.
Overall, I would still recommend this company based on their initial service and build quality, but would be careful if you are looking for a system with cutting-edge components that may have compatability issues. "
"VelocityMicro provided an excelelnt machine. That was the easy part.
The part that is hard for everyone is the service. On this score they excelled beyond my expectations, and I have high expectations. As I software developer, I have learned that simply providing the desired applicaiton is not enough. One must also provide quality service. This is exactly what VelocityMicro did.
They repsonded to all of my phone calls and emails quickly and professionally. They delayed delivery to account as I was suddenly called out of town. And when the product arrived, I received a ring binder with all of the materials I needed as well as backups, all precisely organized. They also provided me with additional hardware to expand my system. In essence, they provided me with everything I desired.
KUDOS! Wel Done!!
"
"The PC I ordered I arrived on time and as promised and works like a charm so far. They deliverd the PC a week earlier than promised.
My only issue is that there site does not specificy a particular monitor with the sytem. I inquired about this via email and was given assurances on the brand so I decided to order it with the PC from them to keep things simple.
When I got the monitor it was not the brand I was promised and due to some email issues on there end it took a week for them to respond to my complaint. But once they got in touch with me there service was excellent. They replaced the monitor with a better one than I had originally expected and did so without complaint or hassle. While it is unfortunate they got it wrong the first time there service after that was excellent. "
"I've owned 3 top of the line D*** computers (2 desktops and 1 laptop) over the past 10-years. As I've become older and more discerning, and as they've become ultra successful and almost too unwieldy in size and inconsistent in tech support, I decided to shop around to see if I could find a higher quality product from a more personally interactive and flexible source. (For the record, I have no major qualm with D*** and for some folks’ needs I still recommend them.)
I can say that overall I am pleased with Velocity Micro (VM), and I echo without reservation the positive comments from many other reviewers who’ve praised their personalized, courteous, and professional customer service, from sales to follow-up support. I'll summarize some categorical perspectives below using these ratings: * Poor; ** average/acceptable; *** Very Good; **** Top Notch
=============================================
Arrival Condition/Documentation: **
Transiting from the east coast to Kansas City, the shipping box arrived with a couple of half-dollar size punctures and looked somewhat beaten up. Packing of the computer case was good, but some of the extra components were strewn about b/c they were not securely packed. Serial numbers were not annotated to facilitate registering components (sound and video cards) with their manufacturers – I think it would have been much nicer if the serial numbers would have been conveniently written somewhere in the owner’s document binder. Otherwise the user documentation is average in usefulness for experienced computer users.
Components: ***½
Although VM makes a point to advertise why they don’t use oem components (that I interpreted in the absence of clarification to include software and OS), Win XP was an oem version. VM’s president reasonably explained why this happens, but I believe exceptions to their “no oem” parts should be articulated on their web site and in purchase documentation. I'm also not fully confident I made the right decision sticking with Velocity's preference for Western Digital SATA hard drives, as he had recommended in conversation. (I was considering Seagate or Maxtor.) But hey, time will tell.
Build & Finish: ***½
My ProMagix A/V/D is well assembled with quality components. Two minor knocks is that one fan power cord is stretched to the max (that ain't meticulous), and my computer arrived with my blue chassis light lying across my delicate video card, but this was easily fixed with no obvious damage to the video card. I especially like the functional elegance of the aluminum Lian Li case and the optional round braided cables used throughout! I did note to my chagrin that the top of the line Plextor 708a DVD burner I chose is now $40-$50 less through VM than when I ordered in December.
Tech Support from Velocity Micro: ****
If you can call during their business hours, I found each of them I've spoken with to be smart, patient, and willing to go the full distance. That means a LOT!
Tech Support from their subcontractor: *
I’ve had only one experience with this outsourced support vendor, and it was very unacceptable. I had a critical failure that prevented me from being able to reboot b/c a new utility program I ran jacked-up my registry. (I should have known better.) I waited in a phone queue for about 7-8 minutes and then was directed to leave my number for a callback. (Callback? I have a serious need here!) 2.5 loooong hours later I got a callback from an indifferent person who asked a few questions and then pronounced I'd have to format my drive (raid 0) and do a full system restore, losing my data and many hours of setup. I could not accept that, and slogged off to bed. The next morning I thought of a couple of other things to try and was luckily able to get the system back up enough that I could transfer data to my backup drive and call Velocity directly, whereby *** walked me through a relatively painless restore via the Norton Ghost recovery disk they provide. As much complaining as there has been of late about another company's tech support, it was never been as bad for me as my one experience with ***. I'll wait for, and then beg and grovel if needed, for help directly from VM before calling *** again.
Conclusion
I am highly satisfied with my Velocity Micro experience thus far. I've read several other consumer reviews about Velocity Micro and I think people sometimes forget that technology is intrinsically imperfect; new components can occasionally go belly-up without cause, and shipping can be tough on components. Great, caring & responsive customer service is vital to me, but that alone isn't enough. Maximizing my own personal cost/value curve – which is not the same as the getting the cheapest price – is another primary index for my satisfaction. By my $3k purchase I am essentially betting Mr. *** and his staff at Velocity Micro will stick by me for several years. In return I will try to have reasonable expectations of their product and services, and reward them with referrals, and potentially my recurring business.

"This is my third purchase from this company in three years. Always an excellent product, and an impeccable staff backing it up.
I purchased a Vision 64 system on 3/3 and received the system on 3/17. Packaging was excellent, and glad to see they're including all the "extras" left over from the build in a bag.
A few problems this time after my initial boot and entering the Microsoft product code. Upon reboot I got a "Overclocking Failed" screen and the choice to choose F1 or F2. I chose F2 and reloaded defaults in BIOS. Called Tucker at VM who was very concerned and helpful, and we went through BIOS settings to insure they were accurate. Then things kinda went downhill. I started getting Win 32 Process errors and today 3/20 checksum errors while in IE6. I'm very confident VM will address these issues as I've dealt w/ them before, and if the system remains unstable, I'll RMA and try the SLi rig w/ one video card.
3/21/05
Spoke w/ Chip this A.M. and he agreed, there is an issue w/ the system. He knew I wasn't satisfied and offered it be returned w/ no restock fee, so I ordered the Dual X AMD system w/ SLi. That is customer service. "
“Dear SBowen2,
We are very sorry you are not pleased with the color of your VX chassis. We were forced to change from "black" to "charcoal" cases because we could not purchase the volume of the VX case in the darker black that we required, and made the change to the charcoal color for new orders placed. We purposely changed the name and color matched the photo on the web configurator several weeks prior to your order to accurately reflect the charcoal color we shipped to you and many other customers.
We regret your purchase satisfaction has been lowered by this change in chassis color. We will do anything possible to help solve this problem. Please contact us to make arrangements to have this situation resolved.
Sincerely,
Velocity Micro”
"I would recommend doing more research before you decide to buy from Velocity Micro. I ordered their "Special Edition" Raptor 64. The ordering process went well, although beware that they charge your credit card immediately instead of when the are finished with the pc. The pc was shipped with a broken drive bay door with pieces inside the computer. The president of Velocity Micro, Randy Copeland, called me at home, which was nice, and arranged to have the computer overnighted back and repaired. I received the repaired computer, and the cathode light was rattling around in the case unattached. Also,
the Windows XP OS had a few fatal exception errors when I powered it up. I fixed these myself and the cathode light. The pc worked fine for a few months, then the rear cooling fan quit working. It did start up only after removing the right side case cover (where all the wiring is not neatly wrapped) and moving the wiring. Velocity Micro did call after I e-mailed them, and I told them I would watch the computer. So, here are my thoughts and cautions to potential buyers: 1. Customer service is good, however they use a third party service for warranty work, which I don't like, and I did't see that on their website. 2. There is no such thing as a customized binder from Velocity. It is a standard binder with extra parts, driver disks, and warranty info. No detailed parts list with part numbers was provided. Even Gateway does this. I never got a "personalized" feeling from the binder, which is how I read the description in their "Special Edition" systems. 3. No matter what they tell you about the Dbox case, it runs very hot with only two case fans, the front one partially blocked. I don't recommend this case at all. 4. Newsletter?? I have received one e-mail newsletter in 5 months, where are they?? 5. The velocity website needs to be more helpful and comprehensive for customer service. It is basically a bunch of links to other vendors. Overall, the system has been fairly stable for the past 5 months, but I honestly didn't feel I got what I paid the $3760 for. This company does appear that it will strive to improve, but it has a long way to go. Look seriously at the other top pc companies such as Falcon Northwest, Hypersonic, Alienware, and Voodoo before Velocity Micro."
“Dear Slaw,
Thank you for your honest feedback. We sincerely regret you have not been as happy with your PC as you had hoped. While the DX does a great job of transmitting interior heat out of the case, the FX-51 processor is going to run warm in any environment. The included thermal sensors are very helpful to monitor the case heat, which is a feature not found in most competitive cases. We have exhaustively tested this and every system for proper thermal dissipation and exceed all requirements.
While we are striving, as you mentioned, to constantly improve, we also understand some customers will prefer a more sanitized experience from a larger OEM with more institutionalized literature and support offerings. (When was the last time the CEO of a larger multi-national OEM called a customer about a problem?) This OEM approach would unfortunately eliminate our huge selection of the very latest components and our ability to offer flexible and personalized support, not to mention our hand wiring, performance tuning, and craftsmanship. We have earned our National reputation and numerous Editor's Choice awards because of these attributes, and we defend our chosen balance between performance and value. We have been scrutinized (including our documentation, craftsmanship, performance, and support) by the mainstream PC media against the competitors you listed with most favorable results.
Again, thank you for your well intentioned feedback and comments. We are listening, and will continue work diligently in the areas mentioned as concerns.
Sincerely,
Velocity Micro”
"Unless you want your hard earned "milk money" and precious time stolen by Velocity, stay away, FAR away from this company and don't join me in computer hell. In essence, DON'T BELIEVE THEIR HYPE! After extensively researching 10 to 15 computer companies (including Alienware, Voodoo, Falcon, ABS, Ibuypower, Cyberpower, Dell - you name it, I looked at them) I bought a Gamer's Edge 64 with an AMD FX from Velocity for both playing games and to do work from home after their high ratings on this site confirmed my research. The reviews on this site corresponded with their mantra of quality, thorough testing, great wiring, retail vs. oem, etc., etc. I figured if I'm going to pay a lot of money for a computer, I wanted to make sure it was going to run reliably, perform tasks quickly, and not require a lot of hassle. To their credit, the sales and shipping staff were very helpful in getting me my computer before I went out of town for a couple of days. (However, if any sales staff tells you they'll deliver it via UPS without a signature, don't belive it - Velocity requires a signature for delivery because of "insurance purposes", and it even says so on the box your computer will come in! This is a major pain in the butt for someone like me who works far away from home!) When I got my computer, I noticed a little difficulty from time to time in starting up once I began work to install programs in order to migrate info from my old PC, but I thought that was just a quirk of the new computer. How wrong I was! The computer soon wouldn't turn on at all. To fix the problem, I've so far had a new power source and a new video card delivered (at great logistical difficulty to me), and a tech came to my home to try and fix the problem. (The nifty wiring they advertise went out the window after that visit.) All of this hasn't worked, so phone tech support (they average about 40 minutes to get back to you, but are very helpful and seem to be knowledgable) told me today that I need a new motherboard since I have a short in my AGP slot. My options? Ship it from Los Angeles back to Richmond, VA for replacement, or have another visit from ZNet. I'll take my chances with another tech visit to replace it, and hope the problem will be solved. Since I already have spent numerous hours loading programs onto the new hard drive, I can't return the machine to Velocity, or I'll have wasted all those hours and have to start over again. It's been close to a month now that I've been stuck between two computers, but if you feel inclined to shell out 2K plus for a new gaming machine with Velocity, please go ahead. Just know you're taking the same risks as if you bought your machine from a lower-cost computer seller who uses OEM parts. Velocity's no different, as much as they'd like you to believe otherwise. I hope this information helps you avoid the situation that I'm experiencing. "
“Dear Ian,
We sincerely regret your component failure, and we understand your frustration with a two month old computer that is no longer functioning properly!
We are anxious to do whatever is possible to fix your system as quickly as possible. While we do meticulously assemble systems by hand and test extensively prior to shipping, occasionally we do experience component failure after delivery. The excellent Asus SK8N motherboard you have has been a reliable board, but occasionally some components can develop problems after a period of use, too. When problems arrise, we strive to be as accomodating as possible to make the repair as painless as can be for the customer. We are happy to give the alternatives of return shipping to the factory or field repair in order to meet your needs. As you know, we have happily shipped all replacement parts to you by UPS Next Day Air to your office address to speed your repair and make receiving easier.
We sincerely apologize for the system failure you have experienced, and appreciate your patience while we do everything possible to make the field repairs needed to get you up and running. Our Director of Customer Care will contact you to further investigate your concerns.
Sincerely,
Velocity Micro ”
"This is one of the most accommodating companies I have ever done business with. The sales staff went out of its way to make sure I was making the correct decision regarding my needs, even to the point of downselling (as opposed to the usual upsell). Tech support, when busy, returns calls. At first, I was miffed by this-but I always received a return call within the hour. And the tech staff speaks English! How refreshing. The product is of the highest quality and easy to access and modify, if your taste runs in that direction. Velocity Micro will get first consideration for all my future computing needs."
"Over the past 14 years I have owned 3 computers - 1 was a local shop's deal, and the last two were Dells. I have influenced many people to go to Dell, but the recent change in their support made me question going to them for a gaming machine. So, I looked around in online forums like this one to learn more about the "other" places on the net. Who knew there would be so many choices? So I reserached like you are now, and stumbled onto Velocity. I compared the same configs at Voodoopc, Falcon NW - all the biggies. I acually found the Resellerratings site from Velocity - they used to have a link on their pages for it... so, of course I had to check it out. What struck me was that they responded to these ratings. Nice personal touch. Also I was looking for a company that was a bit "hungry" for my hard-earned dollars so they would be more likely to go the "extra-mile" for me, should I need it. Hey - if you are gonna pay 4000+ for a gaming rig, not only do you want it put together well, you want to be assured that customer service and support will be there should you need it.
I ordered Jan 12, and received my rig in mid Feb. There was a delay due to my case not being available. I called and got it upgraded to the "wave" case, then discovered that my soundcard wouldnt fit in it, so for $20 I upgraded to one of the cool Lian (QX) black cases. Delivery was delayed over the weekend until the new cases came in. After that, it was complete and delivered via UPS ground (my choice) on time. The built in box handle was ripped, but the contents were unhurt. The computer has been on for nearly a month... and it has been functioning perfectly. All software was delivered in original packing with books/info in a large 3 ring binder. Games are AMAZING. I am in the middle of the new Deus Ex with all settings on the highest they will go. It is smooth and loads FAST. Oh... btw - I have a P4 3.2 EE, 2 74 gig raptors at 10,000 rpm and a 200 gig hard drive, ATI's 9800XT with 256 megs,
and 1 gig of the corsair ram. I also have a 19 inch flatscreen monitor with a 25ms refresh rate (PX191 from Planar). So, yes, I jam on games now.
So - Thanks, Velocity... I respect your work and your product. Jeremy, Jaime, Chip all deserve kudos for putting up with my paranoia and sometimes daily calls. Keep up the good work, Velocity... I WILL be sending more work your way.
Dude... what's a Dell?
"
"I hear great things about this company BUT. . . I ordered my laptop on Feb. 4th with a ship date of Feb. 18th. After a phone call two weeks later, they gave me a new estimated ship date of March 1. Here it is March 5th, and I have no computer and no message from customer service. If you're in a hurry, I wouldn't buy it here!"
“Dear Zimm25,
We regret we were not able to successfully charge your credit card due to the alternate shipping address provided. Our attempts to contact the e-mail address provided on your order were not able to correct the situation. When you called and learned about our trouble, we were then able to approve the shipping address and place your notebook on the production schedule.
When you called to get the new shipping date, we responded that it would be around March 1. We shipped the notebook on March 2, and it arrived the same day you posted this message, March 5.We will do more in the future to try to communicate to customers when we have problems with credit card processing.
We sincerely hope the notebook will perform to a level that will ultimately raise your satisfaction with Velocity Micro. Again, our apologies for not being able to contact you, and we thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
Velocity Micro”
"I received my new computer yesterday and have just started it up. At this point I must tell you how completely impressed I am with your exceptional customer service. Ryan Pollack was outstanding in his help with my order; he was personable, knowledgable, helpful and courteous at all times - a super soft seller! Quality control and quality assurance by all your folks who worked on this machine was superb; everything was properly installed, and operation so far is perfect. And your shipping container, a super heavy duty carton heavily taped, easily absorbed the punishment of travel by ground (my choice) from Virginia to California.
I really appreciated the extras such as the three ring instruction and software binder, the well-packaged extra cables and equipment, and my T-shirt (I'll wear it at the gym). I was so pleased to be able to read that first page on what to expect at initial startup. I was delighted with your attention to the small details - right down to the velcro closures on the binder insert sleeves to keep their contents from slipping out. Even your e-mails keeping me abreast of my order status (approved, assembled, shipped, etc.) and being able to track delivery so I could have someone at the door to accept the machine - all this, too, was simply wonderful.
Simply put, you get Six Stars out of Five for an outstanding plus."
"Needed a computer in a hurry as the old one was
crashing every 4th time it was asked to print and
everything else was cranky. Contacted Velocity Micro on Thursday for an upgraded version of their
Gamer's Edge system and after agreeing to pay a
$95 rush order charge, I received the system MONDAY MORNING. Despite this incredible turn-around time all parts were shipped correctly
and within three hours after opening all data
was transfered and I was up and running again.
I have only been using the system for two days
so I cannot say what the future will hold but
Velocity uses the best name brands and the system
seems well-put together. So far, Velocity seems so
good, including the order taking and keeping me constantly updated on the velocity pace it moved
through the assembly line. Having the computer,
in an upstairs loft near some large windows, I
also like the four adjustable fans, thermon-
meters, and an external temperature display.
Heat probably played a large role in killing
the old computer, but I had no idea how hot it
was getting inside.
"
"My work involves running a program (written mostly in FORTRAN(!)) that does some serious floating-point number crunching. All the reviews in PC Magazine, PC World, and various benchmarking web sites indicated that the FX-51 processor is the fastest available. My Velocity "Gamer's Edge 64 - AMD FX platform" computer has fulfilled all my expectations for speed and reliability. Not sure how big this market is, but the machine is great for this work."
A rep from Velocity Micro, Velocity Micro, has responded:
“Dear Hampersnow,
We sincerely apologize for the problems you have been experiencing with your computer system and our after hours support service provider.
Thank you for your patience while we investigate your case to find out exactly what has happened with the software issues. Our support team will contact you ASAP to continue fixing these problems.
Our deepest apologies,
Velocity Micro
Update 12/22/04 -- ALL telephone support is now taken into our new in-house call center inside our Richmond, Virginia facility. The after hours telephone support issues casued by our former California vendor have been rectified by providing our own employees to answer all support calls 24/7 . Thank you for your patience.”
