"The items i ordered from Vitaglo were backordered but there was no notice online or in my order. I emailed with no response. Finally i called and was informed onf the backorder status. The person on the phone was very rude and abrupt, when I asked why I wasnt noticed he ignored the question, said i'd been given a credit, and then hung up. Vitaglo service is horrible. "

"I really regretted not reading the review before placing my order. The government should shut down this company. After I placed my order I looked up the review but thought I am giving them a chance since they have what I have. Long and behold, after 2-3 weeks I am not getting my shipment. When I called and cancelled my order, the guy... the owner? hanged up on me before I can ask further questions. I don't understand why a company as such with so much complaints and low rating could still be in operation. Take my words, don't order from them. I guarantee you you would have regretted. I would give them 0 star if I could.

Do yourself a favor go to Vitacost.com where I have been ordering my health food product. The only reason I ordered from Vitaglo because Vitacost ran out of the item I was looking for.

"Worst customer service in the world! Do yourself a favor and find a good honest company to buy from. The guy that answers the phone and talks to you is terribly rude and does not keep his word. I asked for a specific shipping type and was told no problem and they failed to do what they said. When I returned the product instead of refunding my money they charged me more money but not what the original cost was. I was told it was less due to them not refunding shipping costs but their website says free shipping over $50 so they lie about that. Not at all worth any savings you might get."

"Horrible customer service. The guy who answers the phone is terribly rude and talks to you like you are stupid. I've ordered many times from their site and if they get the order right you have nothing to worry. But God forbid they mess things up and you have to call their customer service - if you do, you have my sympathies. The slightly lower price you have to pay is just not worth it if you have to deal with the guy who runs the place. STAY AWAY and do yourself a favor!"

"Is there any where else to file a complaint. I am waiting for my order over 2 weeks. Every time I call they say its in the mail. Today I called and tried to explain the situation. The guy interrupted me said "I don't need a lecture I said its in the mail if you don't want it reject it". I was shocked. I said excuse me but you interrupted me he simply replied the stuff is in the mail. I asked to speak with a supervisor. He hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor again. He said I'm the owner your not going to get very far here. I asked his name he said Mike and I'm the owner and hung up. I can not believe that you can treat your customers this way. I purchased about $100 in product which I have not received. Do you have any suggestion on where I can take this matter. Thank you!"

"HORRIBLE company to work with. Paid for my order in full, only PART was shipped with NO notice that they didn't have the other part of it in stock, no follow up as to how they were going to fill the order. They simply ignored it. I followed up, they said, "oh yah, we don't have it". Great. Were you going to tell me so? Now that it's been almost a month?!? They said they'd credit me the difference, AND NEVER DID! I called back again, very calm, and the jerk on the phone said that I don't need to yell -- which I never raised my voice at all -- and said "getting irritated is not accepted here". WHAT?!? Excuse me, I tend to get irritated with thieves! NEVER do business with this company. The prices are great, but it's not worth it. "

"My credit card was charged for merchandise that was never shipped. I contacted by email several times. One email was replied to saying the goods would ship but never did. I called and was treated rudely. I was eventually told the goods would ship but never did. I filed a complaint with the BBB but the company never responded. I'm appalled at their business practices and will never do business with them again."

"I ordered a 10 lb. bag of protein powder on Dec. 12 and did not receive it until Jan. 2. It was the slowest shipping of any online retailer I've ever dealt with. Their standard shipping is time is 7-10 days, but I didn't realize that until after I had placed my order. I would have let that slide except that after 9 days I still didn't even have a tracking number. I called the toll free number to find out what was going on and spoke with a guy who never identified himself and also had the poorest phone manners of anyone I've spoken with in recent memory. He said the order would be shipped that day but I didn't get a tracking number until two days after that conversation. This was my first time using Vitaglo, and I won't be using them again. I saved about $3 by using them instead of A1Supplements, which is what I usually use, but the poor customer service and incredibly slow shipping completely negated the savings."

"I order from vitaglo.com 2-3 times per month every month and am extremely happy with the service I have received. My order usually arrives 1-2 days after I place my it and if they don't have an item in stock, they call me immediately to ask if I want an alternative item, my money refunded for that item, or to have the item shipped once it arrives. I have recommended this company to MANY people because of the fast service, the great prices,and and the enormous variety of items they carrry. Nobody has complained to me about them and I will continue to recommend them to everyone"

"I place an order. They charged my credit card and never shipped the order. I sent 2 emails following up to ask what happened. They never answered either email. (Credit card was still charged.) I called, spoke to two people who were rude. The second person said "I don't want to deal with this." Said they would refund the order and hung up rudely.

I believe what some of the other reviews say about the "bait and switch" on prices and shipping (if the shipping weight is high, they decide they don't want to give "free shipping" so they just ignore the order--apparently without even notifying you or crediting you for the order).

"BAIT & SWITCH SCAM Seller arbitrarily cancels order & free shipping offer, when shipping weight is too heavy. I would've ignored the scam and just ended years of shopping with the seller.... But the fone agent was SO RUDE!

Official BBB report: Seller confirmed 4 transactions online on 9/16/2012 , yet fulfilled only 1. Seller emailed buyer stating one of the three unfulfilled orders had been cancelled; but failed to alert buyer to cancellation of the other two. Buyer contacted seller by phone. Seller stated ," that's stupid" after buyer explained all 4 orders were placed separately to expedite shipping per the online terms. Buyer stated, "i cant make a profit on shipping heavy items." Buyer asked seller 3 times why such items were offered on the website with free shipping. Seller increased speaking volume and stated twice, " are you fighting with me?" after 2 queries, then hung up on buyer after the third query.

"I ordered Perfect Food Raw, a greens supplement, and was sent the wrong product (a protein powder). They emailed me a UPS label to return it and said they would mail the correct product right away. Three weeks later, I had received nothing, so I called to request a refund. The man was EXTREMELY RUDE on the phone and literally YELLED at me: "STOP YELLING AT ME!" It was a strange thing to yell since I was at work in a quiet area and was not even slightly raising my voice. In any case, he subsequently HUNG UP ON ME. Yes, hung up on a customer requesting a refund for a product not received. I swear I was not yelling, being rude, profane, or otherwise complaining AT ALL. I think he has an emotional problem."

"I ordered organic palm sugar from this merchant but they sent me the wrong type of sugar. Merchant was RUDE on the phone when I called to explain their error and refused to help me or respond further. I highly encourage you NOT to deal with this company and their bait & switch tactics. Stick to a merchant who puts customers first - unfortunately this is NOT Vitaglo."
