"When I buy a year's supply of products that have a shelf life of 2-4 years, I don't expect the merchant to send me products that expire 1-3 weeks after shipping. That's squeaking by on a technicality. . Customer service was completely unhelpful and nearly unresponsive (a one-line email from mike saying "we just guarantee that the products are within dates"), and because the items were not actually fully expired, my credit card company could not offer me a refund under warranty for these bad practices. This is a scam. This company's name is easily confused with that of an actual legitimate discounter with fresh inventory (I am now a regular customer of THEIRS), and I wish I hadn't made the mistake."
"I ordered 3 Himalaya products. A face wash and 2 moisturizing creams for my face. Two of the products were expired. One by 3 months and the other by just about 1 year. I do not wish to put expired products on my face. I emailed them for the 3rd time now and I haven't heard from them at all.
Reading the other reviews they do this all the time. Send out expired products and they don't get back to anyone. I DO NOT ADVISE TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY IN ANY WAY!!!

"Emailed the guy 10 times, they did not send one of the products and marked on the invoice, not in stock. At customer service, the dude said via email that he would take care of my request for refund. Made the request multiple times and offered to take credit on a useful in stock product. Let him know that I would follow up with this with the authorities. BAD company to do busienss with. I always think I am dealing with either some 450lb dude wiping wing sauce from his face after his 3 dozen wings on top of his burger and shake..... or perhaps it's some super short dude, wearing Italian sunglasses who built a monster truck like 8 feet high (to compensate) and ran into credit problems buying $10000 tires and rims, and $15000 for the suspension. Not to mention the $4000 he might spent on tattoos to impress his passive 50 IQ girlfriend. You never know. Either way, bad service, and dishonesty is what I experienced. I'll get a refund unless he files bankruptcy. What an extensively long Richard this guy is. Don't waste your money here. "
"I ordered 3 bottles of GAIA Black Elderberry Syrup 5.4 oz from Vitaglo.com on January 9, 2012. I never received a confirmation email and called the company on January 11, 2012. I was directed to an extremely rude gentleman who began to describe that "no emails were sent until the item was shipped." I explained that I understood that but I need some sort of paper confirmation that funds were received at the company headquarters?. He began to dictate that he could cancel the order if I was going to argue about it/. I explained that I wanted the products still, but he hung up the phone:. "I placed an order on 1/20/2012 and had not received it 10 days later. I called to find out where my order was and they stumbled with words, telling me it would be shipped out today and I would receive it 2 days later. On the third day, I called to find out where my order was and this is how it played out.
Me "I made a purchase on the 20th and have not received it yet."
Them " what's your order number?"
Me " 723915"
Them "it was shipped out yesterday, you will get it Friday"
Me "I called Monday and they said I would get it yesterday."

I've emailed them twice and called at least twice...no answer to the emails and when I called them I was told that I would either receive the rest of my order or would get a refund....neither has happened. "A lot of their products are expired or soon to be expired which must be why they sell them so cheap. They probably buy overstocked products from other places and resell them. So their bottles could've been sitting on a shelf in a store somewhere. Sure, 5 or 10lbs of protein powder is cheap but are you going to use it all within a few months? Some of their products do have the expiration date listed but most do not. I buy my protein powder elsewhere because I want a fresher product.
One thing I was not amused about was that I ordered a 2oz bottle of something but received a 4oz bottle of the same product but different brand name. I sent an email asking about it and they told me the one I picked was no longer in stock so they replaced it and charged me the price for the other product..without ASKING ME! So my order also cost a bit more. I don't like surprises unless they are free. I'd recommend using temporary credit card numbers so there are no surprise charges. There is a thing called "one time use" credit card numbers and companies can only charge the set amount.
Other than that.. no real problems. No damaged or leaking bottles.. Fast 2-3 day free shipping but they're in NY and I'm in CT. I order maybe once or twice a year. No other site beats their prices on castile soap which is what I mostly purchase. Their prices are just too cheap compared to other sites and stores. And it's at least a $10 difference..not a few pennies."

"Awful!!!!! This place is the worst!!! I placed my order and 10 days later nothing. So I called to ask where my order is and they said they would call me back. They didn't. I called them again to ask the following day he said "oh yeah you called yesterday" let me check. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes...I finally hung up. I called back and asked the guy to cancel my order and he told me no problem. 5 days later my credit not only hadn't been credited back but I had 3 fraudulent charges on my card. This place is the worst. My credit card company has placed them on high risk alert because either their website is unsecured or they just used my card and I also contacted the BBB and IC3 to report this site for fraud. DO NOT buy here. Im sure there are better options on the Internet with similar prices but this place should be out of business."

"This company is so terrible it made me laugh.
Yahoo asked me to rate this seller. So I did.
I mentioned that the site is very much not user friendly, I didn't receive a confirmation email at all and I wasn't able to log back into my account on their site. So I call the number at the top. The first time I was hung up on, but I figured it was mistake (you know, give him the benefit of the doubt) So I called back and asked how I can log into my account and where my purchase was (it has been over 2 weeks after all) So he looked me up and said my order was cancelled because I gave him a bad review! Keep in mind this was minutes after the review was submitted.
I couldn't believe it! I was so highly amused.
So I told him to have a good day and I'll take my business elsewhere.
I normally use vitacost, but they were out of what I needed. But now it is back in stock. So take my advice don't shop with vitaglo. Vitacost is way better. The slightly cheaper prices are not worth the headache"
"terrible company. I ordered a product that arrived in 2 weeks time, the safety cap was broken and the protection seal was torn open. I contacted the company over 8 times trying to resolve this issue and they've ignored me or sent me a generic email asking me to "send the product back" without specifying how the plan on reimbursing me or paying for shipping.
