"I had a mixed experience with Vulcan Tire. What attracted me were the prices and the warehouse location in PA (where I live). When I made my order I was given a delivery estimate of April 11th to 15th. After not getting any notification of tire shipment, I tried emailing them on April 14th. Their website says that they normally respond within 4 business hours. However, they still have not responded (one week later); therefore, I called on the 15th. They said the tires would ship on the 16th. This did not happen. I called on the 16th and was told they would ship on the 17th. Finally they shipped on the 17th. The tires were eventually received in good condition. While it only took about a week longer to ship than I was originally told, I wish I was informed of any backorder issues. Also, I was disappointed by Vulcan Tire's customer service as they did not respond to my email, and gave wrong information regarding the shipment of my purchase over the phone."

Ordered a set of Falken Ziex 512s (Consumer Reports #1 Rated Performance All-Season Tire) ($194 shipped) and 4 valve stems ($8). Site was easy to use, and friendly for someone who knows little about tires. Would order from them again in a second. My local tire shop wanted $390 + tax; ended up saving $158 by buying them online ($30 local mounting and balancing).
