"On crutches and unable to get the puppy out so thought i would give this a try - Dog walker shows up - takes the puppy on a retractable leash. I give instructions he is skittish around loud noises and hesitant around other dogs.
I am watching from the balcony as the dog walker is too busy texting on her phone to pay attention to the puppy and lets go of the 26' retractable leash which flies across the pavement and hits my puppy. He is terrified and starts running while cars are driving through the parking lot...All the while my new leash complete with light and **** bag container are being drug over the pavement and totally trashed.
I call Wag to relay what occurred and they advised someone will call me right back which never happened!
I will not use this service again - EVER

"If I could give them a zero I would. Do not trust this company with your pets. I tried to apply a free promotion code for 1 dog walk and it wouldn’t go through. I never used the service, since the code didn’t work and they charged me anyway. I was on the phone with them for an hour trying to get a refund and was told it was cleared up. That was in March, and I just noticed that that never refunded for that walk AND they have been charging me $9.99 per month ever since.
I called and spoke with someone named Eleazar. He said they could not refund me for the subscription, even though according to their records I have never used their services. I gave them the choice of being ethical and cancelling my subscription and refunding me for all of those months, or I would call my bank and dispute the charges and give them a review accordingly. They chose the latter. I would never use a company as unethical as this to walk my pets. NEVER."
"Horrible customer service; had a dog walker lock the key in my house when I was out of town. I had to drive back in the middle of the night, >$50 on gas, 5hrs round trip and the rug had been soiled by the time I made it back.
I spoke with Austin at Wag who told me that she couldn't do anything since I couldn't prove it and that PEOPLE ARE BREAKING INTO LOCKBOXES and maybe it's someone else. I asked her if she really thought this was the case, she said no but that they wouldn't do anything without proof. I asked to speak to someone else, emailed to talk to someone else, texted to speak with someone else, and only Austin called back days after she told me she would.
I found the key and have proof, so they offered me a whopping $10 credit; the rug was over $300. I asked for a refund of my credits, since I will absolutely not deal with them or Austin again, and they said they won't refund credits but that they'd send an email to someone about it. So, basically they've taken my money and provided such horrible service that I would never want to use them again."
"Wag walkers consistently cancel walk 10-20 minutes prior to walk start. So, without asking the walk gets push back hour after hour. If you try to cancel after a walker no shows you cannot. You have to pay a fee for canceling with 24 hours.
After this frustration I went online and read terrifying stories of dog after being lost or killed under the care of WAG. These stories came from all across the country even my hometown of Seattle.
Do not trust your dog to Wag. "
"I have been appalled by my last two times using Wag walkers and will not be using them again. In the first instance I came home to my dog bleeding, urine on the floor, a completely dry water bowl, and a clogged toilet. No action or follow up from Wag. In the most recent instance, a walker showed up for the early morning walk at 2 pm. Then the next day at 11 am. Then she closed the sitting session and completely skipped the evening walk. Customer service did not respond to three inquiries from my end. Astoundingly, when I finally got someone on the phone they refused to refund the walk which was skipped but offered to waive the rebooking fee. The rebooking fee for the walk their walker skipped! Horrendous customer service and a serious safety issue for a dog requiring daily medication. I will not be using them again and will advise my clients of my experience."
"Up until today I was a wag customer. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and the service is generally terrible. I’ve had an ongoing problem that’s recently got worse. A walker will confirm my request for a walk then either not show or cancel after the walk has supposed to start, replacement walkers do the exact same thing until it’s happened 3 times in the same day on multiple occasions. Wag support is useless as the only thing they want to do is offer 20 wag credits which aren’t enough to buy a walk and they expire before I get around to using them so it’s an empty gesture, to make matters worse after the 3rd walker canceled on me today I requested that wag stop all future walks. Later that evening when my baby was sleeping a walker I don’t expect or request rang my doorbell and woke my sleeping baby. I’m beyond disgusted with the ineptness of wag customer service support. I felt bad sending the girl away and she was apologetic but i had already walk the dog myself following the previous no shows/cancellations. I asked wag why this happens in multiple occasions over the past year but they offered no real explanation I also asked how to make a formal complaint and after the 4th time of asking I was told to do it via the “app tips and feedback” section of the app. Totally unacceptable as we all know that my complaint would be ignored in that forum. The CS agent gave the usual canned “I’m sorry you’ve experienced this” responses but I felt he was listening to respond and not listening to understand! Also, after previous no shows they continue to find replacement walkers that could take hours to confirm and then show up, unfortunately my schedule doesn’t allow me to sit in all day waiting for a dog walker that may or may not show up (I won’t give a stranger access to my home) yet if I cancel after the 3rd no show in a row on the same day they want to charge me a $10 fee....bad, bad business model, terrible customer service and most importantly the majority of the walkers are unreliable. We have never seen the same walker twice no matter if I mark them as preferred or even if they are local. I’m going back to using the local neighborhood walkers that aren’t associated with wag as they show up "
"They have now canceled four of my walks last minute leaving my pet and meet in a variety of stressful situations. When the owners reach out for pet care they are in trusting the service with our beloved animals. Wag has cancelled four walks on me same day and last minute without a viable explanation. What pet care company would think that this even remotely approaches acceptable service. They should be ashamed leaving pets with no care because they can’t “find a cover”. Customer service also told me that there are not enough walkers to cover all the walks in my neighborhood. If they do not have the coverage they should not be offering the service. Stay far away from them."
"Irresponsible, ineffective, incompetent.
I am trying to housebreak a very stubborn puppy. I take her out 3 times a day and WAG! is supposed to come 3 times a day. The walks are scheduled weeks in advance. Walkers show up 2-3 hours late on a routine basis. They do not read the instructions not to ring the door past 8. And after calling customer service, even though I am paying for 21 walks a week, they did not even offer to attempt to provide better service the future. "
"They harvest your information, violate your privacy, with absolutely no accountability. Do not download their app or give any private information. They will abuse it. I can’t wait until they are shut down. Their investors need to start filing legal complaints against their so called team.

"Just so everyone realizes, this is a review page for wag.com, a shopping site run by amazon that sells pet supplies. Honestly, I've never used them. But I gave them 5 star because they don't deserve their reviews to be completely tanked by a bunch of people who are angry at wagwalking.com (the dog walking app) and can't be bothered to read what they are actually posting to.

"Wag does what it promises.
walks your dog
my pup is dead.
the wag walker wasn't trained or knew anything about my breed.
but she walked my dog
so she completed what wag is set to do

"Had a walker enter the home an hour early, pushed through a barricaded door. Entered my partners room at 630 AM, looked in the room & walked away. Took the dogs for a walk, one got “loose,” & bit another dog. Police arrived to my home giving a citation, my flight I had to reschedule to come earlier missing my grandmothers funeral. Came home to find dog poo bags on the top of my washer, my dog Stella has a missing front tooth, & then a chipped side tooth which she didn’t have before. She is in 10 day mandated quarantine, & now having to fight with Wag for reimbursements of my time, expenses, & now dogs health stuff
I had just left out of town due to a passing of my grandmother. Already prescheduled walks ahead of time with my favorite walkers, & have never had this issue before. We have close to over 50 walks on all 3 dogs & this has never been an issue. However waking up 630 am to my partner calling me & then a text saying my dogs were,
“Hey Kate! We had an hour walk! All went potty. :) They ate their food right up when we got back! We had a bad encounter with a white dog. The dogs were super calm until they saw another dog. They pulled me forward and I slid and fell on the grass. The black dog's collar fell off as it got caught on a yellow fire hydrant. The big ones attacked the other dog but it was mainly the all black one. I tried my best to hold them back but they hurt the other dog. The owner of the white dog asked for your contact information. I’m sorry that this happened. Other than that, your doggies were friendly and energetic.“
No call, no follow up, no contact information taken. Just a blank, “They bit a white fluffy dog,” completely ditzed out on the phone. Followed up with a citation, & astronomical expenses from mandated rabies stays. All together the worst negative experience & I wouldn’t want to deal with it again.
I spent a grand to reschedule a flight, lawyer fees, home insurance going up, my dogs teeth permanently altered, citations from police, a ditzy handler, & entering homes over an hour early to look through bedrooms. Not cool. No reimbursements. "
"I joined the team June 3rd, received no jobs in my area, called for a refund. Never got confirmation for my fed ex tshirt. Then I received an email stating they refunded the shipping, for $5.60, but not got the $25 for a shirt that never arrived. I have waited 2 months for my money back after numerous calls, and notes, email traffic, email for reply to company doesn't work, and now I am calling my bank to flag them! Worst experience ever, and they found it funny to only redund me $5.60, when I paid a total of $30. "
"Watched a video of horrible abuse on May 1st. 2019 on inside edition. There is probably wonderful people that do this for there love of animals but SHAME ON YOU for not checking up on all your employees. The victims of the abuse unfortunately can not speak, my dogs are my children. I expect them and demand they be treated that way."
"Customer service is totally dismissive and irresponsible. They have no clue how to run a business. Unreliable service leaves you waiting 2-3 hours without a walker assigned. The walkers are hit or miss. Some great, some are clearly unstable. One of their longstanding, highly reviewed (or so it appeared) walkers VALENTINA complained that she was sexually harrased by someone in my building (no clue who she is referring to). She wrote this IN MY DOGS WALK REPORT CARD. What does my fur baby have to do with this and why does his walk journal need to include a totally inappropriate commentary about her experience??? Steer clear of them. Dangerous irresponsible service. Sooner or later you will regret having hired them. GUARANTEED. "
