"The delivery guys were very polite and came within the timeline we were given. My only complaint would be were got an automated call advising the delivery truck would arrive in apx. 10 minutes. We were advised we would get 30 minute notice. The purchase was a freezer and we needed the 30 minutes to unload the freezer. We got lucky and were able to remove everything from out old freezer before the deliver truck arrived. In the future it is important to give stick within the 30 minute time frame we were advised we would get."

"This is the second time dealing with WDC. The first time we dealt with a bad bathtub. Until we had to suck it up due to contractors time line. Still not happy.
This time we just bought sink faucets. They were supposed to call us with an ETA but never did. I finally called them. Got the answer that it would be available the next day. But when I showed up they said it didn't get there. "Maybe tomorrow? " Maybe I should be shopping elsewhere. "

"Bought Labor Day not intending to take delivery for a couple months. I called 2 weeks before I needed it. Was not informed balance needed to be paid to store before delivery. The night before I needed it when I found I shpuld have paid first. Then delivery service gave a bad time and tried to charge me $50 to change delivery. Finally got items at the last minute and had to go get kids. They made me sign that the items were in good condition. When I went to use the items, I found a small dent on the brand new pedistal delivered. Poor all around. "
"Bought a dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer from WDC. Nothing was in stock, but credit card was charged immediately. Weeks before anything showed up. Got charged for a dryer door reversal which resulted in the door apparently being broken (they did replace the dryer-another few weeks later- and said we had to call the manufacturer to have the door tended to...but never got a refund for the failed door service charge).
Dishwasher was installed but not thoroughly tested so when I first ran it, an error message displayed. I called the store, asked for a manager and was told the manager took the day off (a Saturday, at that). The installer came back out eventually and determined it was a part defect which he couldn't fix. Again, manufacturer had to send someone out to get the job done. Got reacquainted with washing dishes for a couple of weeks...
All in all, WDC is quite efficient at getting their money, but failed at virtually all the aspects of customer service. They charged for services they were not qualified to perform, they gave us "overly optimistic" arrival dates, they have automated scheduling but apparently don't pay much attention to it, they did not communicate effectively with us, nor amongst themselves... extremely disappointing."

"I just had my new Sub Zero installed on Monday. Very happy with this built-in refrigerator. My experience at Warehouse Discount Center could not have been better. Jacki Rose was the Appliance Specialist that help me find the refrigerator that I wanted and would fit space of my current Kitchen Aid built-in. I brought with me the dimensions of my current built-in space and Ms. Rose showed me that the Sub Zero would be the perfect fit. And she was absolutely correct. She arranged for Elite to provide the complete installation including the water hook up and taking away my old refrigerator. Very happy with the complete process. I am now working her for options on a new Wolf cook top! "

"Appliance salesperson not helpful in selections/unattentive to details/does not return calls timely. Had to prompt him to get updates on orders. Seemed rushed at times. Said he called hood manufacturer and couldn't order a transition for a hood, and said I could easily get transition elsewhere. It turned out that the transition came actually already attached inside hood - therefore he didn't have crucial knowledge of appliance they sell, and his claim of calling is suspect.
Faucet/sink salesperson excellent advice and guidance on selections. Orders arrive as promised, and on time. She is very friendly and helpful, an asset to WDC!"
