Worse yet there are multiple pending charges to my account of which only one is valid. OVERCHARGED my account and now I face the possibilty of bank charges for their incompitence. WEBSITE AVAILABILTY AND BILLING CANNOT BE TRUSTED. I have never haved had such a hassle with online orders"

"I waited 2wks for an order that showed as back ordered and then contacted customer service. They said the order had been canceled as the item was no longer stocked. Then stated I could special order one. Why not simply fulfill my original order if they could still special order one. Wasted 2 weeks of my time. Web site order status is worthless if it doesn't tell you the truth."

"I bought a Garmin StreetPilot i2 on December 18 after finding that West Marine had by far the best price. Although their web site said it was in stock, it was back ordered by the next day. I then called a CSR who was very helpful and frank about their inventory.

A day or two later they did get more stock in and sent out my order in time for Christmas delivery, and upgrading my original ground shipping to next day to do it. A very nice introduction for me to this company."
