"I placed an order for a swimsuit on 02/19/12 knowing the item was backordered until 03/05/12. As that day came and went the status still showed "backordered" with no new ship date available but since I placed the order way ahead of when I needed it, this was acceptable. As time went by I called and was told it should be shipped "any day" now and that was still okay. Well, now it is showing 07/20/12??? Are you kidding me??? 5 months to get a swimsuit??? Seriously??? This WAS a gift for a vacation that I specifically ordered in plenty of time BEFORE the vacation only to find it's not even going to ship until AFTER the vacation is over. I have been a LOYAL customer for YEARS but NO MORE. I will no longer shop at your site or One Stop Plus or Roamans or Jessica of London or any of your other stores. Why? Because this has happened too many times before. Either you backorder an item indefinitely or your cancel the item all together. And, I know why. It ONLY happens why I use a 50% off coupon. IF I paid full price, I'd have my order by now. I'm willing to bet that all the people who placed the same order at the same time but did NOT use a coupon they got their orders months ago. But, I used a coupon so I'm penalized!"
"ALTHOUGH MY "4 STAR" RATING IS GOOD, THE WAY THEY HANDLED/DIDN'T HANDLE THE ONE PROBLEM I HAVE HAD DOES CAUSE ME SOME HESITATION ABOUT ORDERING FROM THEM. I am not sure how I came to get catalogs from Woman Within and other Redcats USA companies. I got hooked by the fact that many of their clothes were made of cotton, a necessity for me. Also, the catalogs always featured sale pages. Until this recent order (and including some orders after this order) I have been happy with the quality of the clothing (except for one item), and the speed of service. I signed on to receive sales offerings online, and there have been some extremely good buys. In addition, when they have items on sale, but aren’t offering free shipping, I go to CouponMountain.com or other sites offering discounts and coupons, and have found several that saved me even more money. BUT THIS ORDER WAS A PROBLEM. The problem item was a pair of long RED, warm fleece gloves that went from the initial offering price of $16.99 down to $3.99 on my invoice. At the time I ordered them, to go with a poncho that needed long gloves, they were listed at $8.99. I put them in my shopping cart, and when I returned the next day they were $5.99. With a coupon I got online they dropped to the final $3.99 price. They did not come with the rest of the order. I immediately checked online and they were still available. I contacted Woman Within 3 times through their “Contact Us” link and received no answer. I then contacted them at ****@**** so that I had a record of the correspondence in my email system. I still received NO answer. I finally called them on the phone, now one month from my order date and I was informed they were no longer available (remember, they WERE still available when they failed to be shipped with the rest of my order), and that I had been issued a credit about 10 days ago. I did not get any confirmation of a credit being issued. I know that the product was inexpensive, and I would not be so angry except that I have not found any other gloves that would work perfectly with the poncho I was purchasing them for. This is the only problem I have had with Woman Within, but I wonder what would have happened if I had been shorted the most expensive item in an order instead of the cheapest one!"
"Buyer beware! Do not attempt to use paypal on a Woman Within or Jessica London order. Their websites will show that your order went through and PayPal will indicate that they paid, but you will never get your order! This has happened to me twice in a row. "
"Having previously had good experiences with Woman Within, I ordered a few items. Two days later I was notified that one of those items, a dress, was back-ordered. A couple weeks later I was notified again that it was back-ordered further. At that point I regretted ordering it, as I no longer had a job, and finances were tight. I immediately contacted Customer Service online and requested that item be canceled from my order. Although I received the form email message saying they'd received my request, I never got a direct response. A week later I was notified that my order was being processed and would be shipped soon. I immediately contacted them again and reiterated my request to have the order canceled. Receiving only the form email, again, I telephoned Customer Service the next day. The C.S. Rep. said that, unfortunately, the order could not be canceled as it was already in process. When I explained that I had requested it be canceled over a week before, she did agree to give me a credit for the shipping. The dress arrived, and I immediately returned it, without unpacking it. However, when the credit was received for the return, it was short $6.99 for the shipping to me. I have emailed customer service about that, 2 or 3 times, but my emails have been ignored.
So, I will no longer do business with Woman Within. I switched my business to a different online plus size store, but didn't realize until after I ordered, that it also is a Redcats store. (So far, I've had no trouble, though.) I have requested Woman Within to stop sending me their catalogs. They send several catalogs a month! Nothing changed after the first request, so a couple of months later I went to their site and again requested to have the catalogs stopped. That time I received email confirmation of my request. The catalogs did stop -- for about a month, but now they are coming again. I am on my way to request for a third time that they stop sending me their catalogs. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced."
"I ordered over $50 worth of merchandise which qualified for free shipping. I went to paypal with a total due of $4.96 when my payment was completed it flipped me back to the Woman Within website & said I was charged $14.95-$4.96 plus $8.99 for shipping. I am disputing this with my credit card company since paypal says they won't fix it.
I went to exchange an item. I put my credit card number on the exchange form. I get a letter in the mail stating that they cannot charge an exchange using paypal EVEN THOUGH THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER WAS ON THE FORM. In addition to this, they did not issue a refund to my paypal account and did not issue me a check for the $30.03 difference. The telephone rep. says that my paypal account was credited which it was not. I will also dispute this with paypal.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They will not stay in business with their current business practices."
"I ordered 21 days ago and still have not received my products. Two days ago, I emailed the concern through their website and got an automatic response that I needed to wait at least 15 days before I should contact them (it had been 19 days already). I called them, they checked the status and said that they had shipped it but I hadn't received it - uh -duh?! They then told me I had to wait an additional 10 days before they would consider the item lost or stolen and then MAYBE would refund my money. First time I tried to order, LESSON LEARNED. One star is generous."
"CONSUMER WARNING, FIND ANOTHER ONLINE RETAILER !!! The prices this company charges in comparison to the quality of the merchandise is outrageous. I gave them a try because their return policy indicated that they would accept returns and exchanges. However, when I returned an item it took forever to process it because the return shipping label that was supposed to have been included with the shipment was nowhere to be found. But the really infuriating part is that I only received a $2.04 credit for an item that cost me $23.99 according to my invoice !!! If you order anything from this company make sure in advance that you won't need to return it. As for myself, they've received my last order."
"Very disappointed. I have a hard time finding boots to fit my "wide calves". The boots I ordered were listed under "wide calf boots" but not described as such. After investigating the return policy I decided to risk it. The boots arrived promptly but did not fit. I followed the return procedures and brought the box to the UPS store for the $6.95 return fee described on the web site. It cost me twice that and the kid at UPS said the woman within website information was false advertising. I'm out $14. in return shipping and the $75. charge on my credit card will hopefully come off in several weeks. Thanks for nothing."
"This store has the worst customer service I have encountered on the web. They claim that they process orders within 24-72 hours. It was 5 business days (including a weekend) before my order shipped from the warehouse, and I never received the shipment confirmation. I was also never notified that one item was backordered. Only because I called did I learn this, and cancelled the order for that item. My credit card still shows the full charge including this item. I just received the full order today, and it lacks a shipment paper or return label. Their website is a sham - the "customer reviews" link is dead, and you cannot obtain the pre-paid return label despite their instructions to the contrary. I shop very often online, and cannot imagine a worse interaction with an online company. Stay away!"

"This store offered a promotion code that I used on October 12, 2010. At first I got an e-mail that my order was being processed. When I checked my order two days later, they indicated DO NOT SHIP on the order. The order will be cancelled. Stores that do not honor their codes are immediately crossed off my list of retailers. I think this was a draw-in and there were a lot of us people disappointed. There are just too many honest retailers online to contend with online stores who do not stand up to their end of a committment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. I know that I will."

"I often order my mom's clothes from them because they are constantly having sales and they're reasonably priced to begin with. This is the only place that sells a swimsuit modest enough for her to wear to her water therapy without showing her hip replacement scar. Every order I have had with them has been good and their sizing in consistent, so a 1x is always a 1x.
Beware, though, that their shipping takes a very long time, especially because it takes the items a few days to actually leave the warehouse."
