"Bought 2 watches way prior to Xmas, one of them came in time, the other no news, no tracking number, nothing. Contacted the company 3 times and no answer, asking for a refund, no answer. Won’t be buying again. Worst customer service. "

Very disappointed- my watch is missing a piece

"I purchased a nice diver watch for my boyfriend, for Christmas. I was so excited to see it when it was delivered. I opened it and noticed a piece missing from the front of the watch. I immediately reached out to WorldofWatches and their solution is to mail it in for inspection and later they will issue me a refund. I asked if I could just exchange it as I’ve already shown my boyfriend the watch and he didn’t really care for it. They said no. I can mail it in for inspection, then they’ll issue me a refund and then i can turn around and buy a new one. This is not what I consider great customer service. It’s been a headache and I’m over it. Well it’s a good thing they won’t do a simple exchange because now I’m over it, and I will not be purchasing from this company again. I should have never given them my money. Who knows how long it will be before I receive my refund. "

Regrettably, we are unable to facilitate an exchange without conducting a thorough inspection of the watch to verify that it has not been tampered with. Our system restricts us from processing exchanges unless it involves the exact same item. Hence, the customer service representative informed you that we would proceed with a refund once the inspection is over, allowing you to place a new order for a different item of your choice. Ordered December first and still not here

"I placed an order for a watch on December 1st in order to get it by Christmas. You'd think 24 days is more than enough time for it to arrive. It is now December 16th. I sent two inquiries by email and never received an answer. I called them on the 14th, the maximum day they said it COULD take to ship. After waiting on hold for a good period of time I got a person from a foreign country who seemed disinterested in helping. It sounded like she was busy cleaning something. She said that then watch was not in inventory and they were waiting for the supplier to ship it to them......... at the end of the coming week (around the 21st). THEN they would ship it to me. In other words shipping could take double what the site says i(f it does at all). Think twice, even thrice, before ordering from World of Watches if you need it in less than a month or two. Better yet look elsewhere.

Absolute worst customer experience

"I called about getting a promo code that I could not seem to find. I spoke with Tara who told me to go ahead and purchase the watch and she would refund my card the difference if I sent her the order number. I trusted her and went ahead, ordered the watch.
I then sent her my order number with screenshots of both my receipt and the image of the current discounted price of the watch.
She took t least three days to get back to me and when I finally bothered her about it, she told me that she was sorry, she could no longer offer me the discounted price (This was approx one hundered dollars off what I had actually paid). She could, however, offer me $20 off the watch I just purchased. WTH?? I had already promised this watch as a gift and had purchased it BELIEVING that what she told me via email was true. To add insult to injury, when I told her that I would still be purchasing the watch (very upset at this point, as she would not even transfer me to someone who was above her to discuss this with), she then told me that she could not even offer me the $20 discount. No reasons for that. She just couldn't do it.
Truly the worst customer experience I've ever had and 1000% inexcusable. At this point, I even question the authenticity of the watch and will never do business with them again. Thanks, Tara@worldofwatches.
