"I don't think it's quite fair to see Xheli getting only a 5 rating. I don't think they're perfect: my biggest gripe is the length of time it takes to restock. But their prices are low, and customer service is in place, though maybe not as responsive as it could be. This isn't a Rolls Royce dealer, it's a deeply discounted micro-heli retailer.
I've bought several copters from them. I always check them first to see what they're offering. They've often got some killer specials.
Not all of my experiences were perfect either, but they are NOT rip-off artists. Instead, they are a very good place to get some quality products at good prices.

"I made my order on 3-30-09 with UPS 3 day select and my order will not arrive until 4-6-09
Well first of all I tried to talk to Xheli via live chat which for the 2nd time now no response after I ask a question and wait 15 mins...Finally I get a response on the 3rd attempt in which they just tell me to call....
I called Xheli after 2 hours of busy signals and was told that ..."I'm S.O.L." Nothing they can do about it and if I dont like it go shop somewhere else! Now what kinda of customer service is that ? You place a order and pay $20 extra for UPS 3 day shipping and your order gets shipped in 6 days (sametime as UPS reg ground) ! If anyone cares I just got scamed out of $20 for shipping from Xheli!

"The customer service at XHELI.com is slow and unprofessional.
In summary: You better hope what they send you is the correct item and works properly, because you will hate dealing with their support people.
I ordered two Lama V4 helicopters from their site on February 5th. One of the helicopters worked great. The second would spin in circles and you couldn't control it. I messed with the controller and realized the 2.4GHz Esky controller was not working. So I emailed xheli.com to RMA the unit.
And here is what has happened so far.
1 days later I get the "(we will) contact you on the issue in 1-2 business days"
2 days later I got an email telling me to swap the wires to check that it wasn't the motor.
0 days later I received an email telling me they would send a replacement part and I needed to ship the broken receiver back in the same box. I also received the canned RMA response and instructions. I sent an email to them asking which I was supposed to do
1 days later I get the "(we will) contact you on the issue in 1-2 business days"
14 days later I get tired of waiting for the part so I decided to call, got no answer on ***-***-****, then I called the ***-***-**** number. I was put on hold and third in the queue. 20 minutes later I got to number one and the system hung up on me.
1 day later I tried the chat and she told me that I was supposed to send the original to them first and they would send me a replacement and have someone call me. No one ever called.
By this point I was so upset about not being able to fly my helicopter, I just went their site and bought a replacement part. But when I got the invoice it said it was for a 72MHz receiver. I immediately responded to the email saying it was the wrong part but a day later I get the same canned email about 2 business days. A day later I got the email saying they had already shipped it.
Finally I get the 72MHz part and still haven't gotten the original 2.4GHz part. So I ship both the originally broken 2.4GHz part and the incorrectly shipped 72MHz version back to xheli.
After 10 days I send xheli an email asking when I can expect the replacement part and they responed that one had been shipped. I received the part about 4 days after that.
So there I am all exited about installing the part and flying my heli, but low and behold the thing has the exact same problem.
So I try calling. I finally got some on the ***-***-**** number. I talked to a guy named Bobby and he wasn't very sympathetic but did tell me that I could RMA the broken replacement part.
So it has been more than 6 weeks and I still don't have a working heli. We'll see if I ever get it flying.
All that being said, they are average quickness at shipping items when you first order them.
