"I went online to Xoxide because they had such an extensive list of products for modding my new computer. After selecting over a hundred dollars worth of various cool items, I went to checkout. That when I discovered that even though you click to place items in your cart, nothing gets there. The cart continually says "you have no items in your cart". So I tried to contact them both by email and phone to no avail. Three emails to different people listed on their website resulted in nothing-no return emails. Either they are horrible with their business practices or they are closed and nobody shut down the website. Either way, I would never deal with them again. Terrible company which should be out of business, which hopefully is already the case. Beware."
"Never had a chance to order. They list a product by model number that has not been available anywhere for years, so i assume that the product is actually the newer model and that xoxide never updated their website. But not being one to take unnecessary risks, I tried to contact xoxide to confirm the model number. It has been over a week since I started trying to contact them. I called them, left messages asking them to call me back. I called within the listed business hours, but they never answer the phone, instead the call goes straight to voice-mail with a recording that states that they can not answer the phone right now and to leave a message. I texted the same number, not expecting the text message to be deliverable, but apparently the number is a cell phone. I emailed to all 3 email addresses listed, but the emails were all auto-rejected with the reason "user does not have an account with xoxide." If I am unable to contact them to ask a pre-sale question, how am I to expect any better after an order has been placed. This is truly bad customer service when they won't even answer the phone or can't even receive an email. Even though the item listed is something I desperately need, I won't order from a company that won't answer the phone or receive emails. Makes me believe they are out of business with a website that hasn't defaulted yet. If they are still in business, I can't believe they will be for long, with this kind of attitude towards prospective customers."
"FRAUDULENT PRACTICES! PLEASE READ THIS. They list things as "temporarily out of stock" that they will never have. They list things as "shipping the next day" that are discontinued and they cannot ship. After they notified me that a computer case I ordered could not be shipped because of this, IT WAS STILL LISTED ON THEIR SITE AS SHIPPING THE NEXT DAY!
At one point I put a number "out of stock" of things in their site wish list and realized months later that they were never going to come in. I emailed them about this and got ignored. I proceeded to order things that were shown to be available, but after a partial shipment, got a phone call about the case being discontinued. I asked what other cases could he ship and he seemed very reluctant to tell me, saying that he would contact the distributor and that I could call him later if I wanted. So I called him back in a few days and got the same ho-hum type of response, like he would rather just give me a refund and forget about it. But I needed a computer case! I rate the customer service as fair because when I did ask for a refund I could get the guy on the phone and it happened quickly, but listing things they don't have and then not caring about finding a substitute product really stinks."
"I purchased hard drive mounting screws, the method of shipping was free. I didn't think it would be free, but it was offered initially. At check out, a message was displayed telling me that method of shipping was not offered to my location and choose another. I picked another method of shipping and without approval or verification of shipping charges the website charged PayPal for the cost. No response from either PayPal or Xoxide concerning the unauthorized shipping charges."
"I ordered some fans that were out of stock almost every where. Xoxide has the lowest shipping. It indicated it was shipping from Fedex.
It's been over a week and still no product. After checking the tracking number, it's clear now why. They used that awful Fedex service where fedex doesn't even bother to bring it to your house. They could be 50 feet from your house and instead they hand it off to the local post office so those incompetent government employees can lose your package for a few days before delivery. I abhor vendors that use this type of shipping. Anyone who delivers items to me in that fashion will not receive my business in the future."
"Placed a average size order of three items. The one item, which is sold in pairs came as 1ea instead. So I now had only half of what was needed. I first tried to contact by email, did this a few times. I than saw they had a phone number to send a text to. After a few text were sent with no response I was done with them. I reordered from Frozen CPU or Performance PCS, and will continue to do so. I also found their ground shipping method (DHL) takes about twice as long as Performance PCS, and also costs more. A good indicator, since they are both in Florida. To me customer service is the best indicator of a company. I work for a distributor that sells all sorts of parts. We know that we are selling service more so than the item itself. Xoxide is not the only place to purchase PC related items online."
"Ordered a (relatively expensive @ $300+) HTPC case and PSU on Friday. Order was confirmed on Monday (really?). On Wednesday afternoon (after most of the rest of my parts had been received from NewEgg) I get an email saying the case is out of stock and out of production, would I like a (cheaper) substitute. The substitute is mITX, by case was mATX, as is my new motherboard. I respond by email. No answer that day. I call. No return phone call. At 11 pm I get an email offering a substitute case (open box, last one) from a different vendor. I respond immediately that the substitute is fine, please call me in the morning because I want overnight shipping. In the morning, I get an email that the SUBSTITUTE case is no longer available and offering a much cheaper product.
These guys have a cool site and list great products. Their order fulfillment is abysmal. Their customer service is a joke. Don't trust them with anything unless you have a) time; b) money to burn; and c)a backup plan."
"horrble experience, bought case/power supply. case was nice but when i opened it to retrieve power supply i noticed a fan wire laying by the PS box. I wondered where it was from only to realize it was the wire the went to the large (180mm) side fan. Now realize this was UNDERNEATH the packing paper by the power supply retail box that they had placed inside the case. This without doubt is a sign that the fanwire was broken and just thrown in there as they packed it. They ignored all emails asking about what to do. Not a good place. "
" This company bent over backwards to replace a product that
did not function properly. This is people pleaser oriented company (rare to find these day).
It is a real test of a company's metal when things, through no fault of theirs, goes defective. THESE PEOPLE COME THROUGH FOR YOU.
They get deliveries out in timely fashion and choosing faster mail got my pkg. to me in 3 days in my Mail box. Convenience at its best!!
I have bought before and will continue to buy from Xoxide because their prices are competitive."
"I find the oxide people rude.. Shipping was extremely slow also. If they offer you a free gift it's because the item is broken. Why would you purposely do that? I don't want your free broken gifts. Here is their response from me telling them for a second time the icecubes they sent me were faulty.

Than you for sending the new icecube before Christmas. I put it in a drink
and it worked but it wont stop, I've completely dried it and it continues to
blink. It's still going but it's nearly dead. This is the second one I had
problems with.
Response of xoxide:
Yes maybe this is why they are free. We are completely out of stock of
these and I'm not sure if we will get more. I'm sorry for your trouble"
"XOXIDE.COM.
What was this company thinking when creating their return policy? They will NOT EVEN ONCE allow for a free return, charging the customer full price for all shipping on return orders, Meaning I would have to pay $35 on an $80 case that I didn't even want. What kind of service is that? With a company that boasts profits like theirs, you'd think they could afford some decent return policies, not to mention some agents who wouldn't rudely dismiss any claims you make to requesting said free return, especially when you were planning on spending MORE money with them. Sorry, guess not, xoxide. DO NOT RECCOMEND. If you get anything even SLIGHTLY different than what you want, you're up a creek. Good luck! Frys.com works much better."
"I live in Canada, and there are numerous other retailers that I could choose in regard to computer parts. Why did I choose Xoxide and pay more than $50 for shipping? Well, they have a large selection of non conventional parts -- water cooling supplies, lighting, fans in all possible shapes, sizes and prices. Also very great was that they took pictures of my order before sending and sent it to me online -- a unique bonus. What else to say... shipping was quite fast although expensive but I'm overall very satisfied!"
"Ordered a Lamptron F9 fan controller. Arrived severely damaged bent resistors, someone took a wrench to all 4 posts where the nuts are-deeply gouged & scratched. One post was at a 90 i bent back up and pin that attaches to board snapped. This wasnt damaged during shipping I guess I was the sucker who paid an extra $25 for overnight that i completely lost. Where is the quality control this shouldn't be? Never order again or recommend!"
"Awesome Products and service and prices that are outstanding! Their Facebook pages for Customer Mods, Gaming Stations and Mod of the Month contest, as well as all the reviews and places to post pictures on their website, make this a fantastic company, and one that really responds to their customers and fans, 80mm on up to the 140mm. LOL
Keep up the great work Xoxide!!!!
