"I have made several purchases from Xoxide in the past two years and the experience has been top notch as their lifetime reviews show.
This time it was a little messy.
Ordered 2 pairs of Modtek usb warming gloves that I expected to come in 5 days, but came in 10 days via standard shippping with UPS. The package came on the Dec 17th at my school where I made the order because I assumed it would arrive in time. Due to winter break, I had to return home and was not able to open the package until the 23rd, where I found both pairs of gloves to be in the package, but only 1 usb cable was included. I quickly emailed them about the problem and requested a new cable, but found that they were closed from Dec. 21 through 26th for Christmas. I was a little frustrated because these were gifts, but luckily one was for myself so I was able to give the complete one away.
On the 26th, I received a quick response from Rich Krauss at customer support who said he would send a new set out.
On the 28th, I received shipping and tracking info from Xoxide via USPS.
The package arrived on Janurary 3rd. Picked up and opened the package today (the 7th) to find a whole new set. So now I have 2 pairs and 1 usb cable. I guess the spare may come in handy.
Overall, the response was efficient, but alot of time was wasted. Still, I'd shop from them again as I have in the past. Hopefully the recent mishaps everyone has been having will go away."
"The order was simple: Two mounting adapters for Koolance waterblocks.
Initially, the order was shipped next day and received after two business days. Unfortunately, both adapters were missing tension springs.
A word of explanation - mounting a waterblock without tensions springs means a very high likelyhood that the CPU will be crushed. That's a bad thing.
After reading the other reviews here, I decided to not even attempt Email contact with this reseller. So, I called them the next day. Their shipping department contact Herman confirmed that none of the adapters in stock had mounting springs. He offered me either a full refund, or asked me to wait about two weeks for the springs to be shipped from Koolance. I chose the latter.
I called back three weeks later to follow up, and was asked to call back later that week. Finally, one month after the original problem was reported, without receiving any responses by the reseller, I called again.
This time I was told that I would receive a call back the next day. I asked Rich at Xoxide if he could check with the warehouse, to verify that the tension springs were included, just in case, but didn't receive an answer whether or not he would do that.
Since Xoxide didn't send an Email or call back, I did the next day: I was told by Rich that a replacement order was sent the previous day, and that I should have received a confirmation Email - which I didn't. Rich went on to say that he was having problems with the automatic Email confirmation system and would have another Email sent.
One day later, I did receive a confirmation Email - that an order shipped that same day. That meant what Rich said wasn't true.
I received the package within two business days, as expected, but there were two problems. Only one adapter was shipped, and it was also missing the tension springs, so I called back again.
Rich in shipping provided two RMA #s to send the incomplete adapter sets back. Rich also gave a different address to send the items back to than was was in the Emailed RMA confirmations. Since Xoxide is near where I live (NJ -> PA), I decided to drop off the package in person at the address that was given over the phone. It turns out that Xoxide planned on moving into that space, but did not yet have a physical presence there. If the package had been shipped to the new address, it would have never been received. Thanks to the technical miracle that is GPS navigation, I wound up hand-delivering the incomplete brackets to the reseller's Malvern Pennsylvania address. This was on November 30th, 2007.
But, only after three calls and a threat to dispute the charges with my credit card company was my credit card refunded - on January 3rd, 2008! Because of the lack of communication, verbal address being wrong, taking over a month to refund my credit card, and the inability to resolve the problem, I would not purchase again from this reseller. Like others here, I had purchased items from Xoxide in the past, and they were fine. I feel that something changed in the company in the last eight months for the worse, and it does not appear to be getting better."
"I ordered a couple input devices on 12/12/07 with standard shipping. After reading some of the reviews here, I got a bit worried when I never recieved an order/shipping confirmation.
On 12/18/07 3:38PM PST, I wrote them an email after seeing that my credit card had been charged. It basically stated that I didn't get any emails but my card had been charged, and then asked for some sort of order/shipping verification.
The next morning (12/19/07) I received an email that had the order confirmation and tracking number on it. After checking the tracking number I saw that it had been shipped out the day after my order (12/13/07).
So today my items are to be delivered, and I'll update this if there is a problem.
All in all, the items WERE shipped on time, but I received no confirmation of my order until I asked for one. Even then they didn't acknowledge that they even recieved my inquiry about my order, it might have been coincidence that I received the order/tracking email the day after I emailed them... who knows?
I will probably not buy from them again, as I don't usually order the type of items they carry. But if I was looking for a case mod or the like, I might if I don't find someone with a better track record, and order confirmations.
UPDATE: Well it seems I spoke too soon. Out of the 2 items I ordered, one was the incorrect item. Instead of dealing with their customer service (which is, from what I read, a joke) I'll just use it on another system and order the part I wanted again, from another supplier.

The Computer Case that I ordered had a couple of stripped panel screws holes. Don't know if factory done it or Xoxide Company. Going to reseal the holes and tapped them again. Easier than sending it back.
Otherwise good service."

I'm not sure if it was bought and returned, but I am sure it hasn't been used. MFG date on it is Sept 07, so I know it isn't old. Overall I'm not blaming Xoxide with any foul play, just commenting on product cleanliness."

"Did not receive package until almost 2 weeks after I ordered it. I was also sent the wrong fan duct with my heatsink order and called them. The first guy was nice and said he would check into getting me the correct duct and would give me a call in a few hours, but no call. Called the next day, another guy told me that they called the heatsink company and said that I had received the correct one even though it states on their website that there are two versions. I tried to ask the guy to kindly go to the website and see for himself but he rudely refused stating that he was too busy to do so. In the end, a representative of the heatsink company was nice enough to deal with this as Xoxide.com had not been. If you need to talk to them, don't even consider emailing them. Call them. You'll never get a response via email. Overall, I am happy I finally received my order in the end, but are very disappointed with their customer service."
"This is my first time buying from Xoxide. I ordered my Tuniq Tower from them and got a great price. There prices are great all around though got it for $53 shipped. Shipping is great, ordered on Tuesday and recieved on Thursday. The Tuniq box had no bumps or scratches on it and it was packed in a HUGE box with alot of paper. I will definatly be returning to them to shop. Also told my friends about this site also. "
