I placed an order on Extreme Terrain for a Synergy Front track bar, Synergy sector shaft and track bar brace, and a Billstien 5100 steering stabilizer. "At the end of the day, the install was successful and gave me the 2" height I needed, without the fear of sideloading like the smaller blocks can potentially have. The stiffening effect was minimal, which allows the ride to still feel comfortable; steering does feel a bit tighter, which I consider a win. Time will tell.
However, the issue is that I had to spend more on the install, because the leaf additions were too long, and overlapped the existing (and immovable) leaf support brackets. The installer was required to cut approx. 1/2" off of the end of each leaf, which cost me more, dollar-wise. I am happy with the end result, but not pleased with the extra money spent, after I already spent $110+ on the kit itself."
"Extreme Terrain didn’t feel they should expedite my package apparently. I tracked it to my home one 2/1/2024. It turned out to be front struts for a Toyota. I then had to jump through hoops to get that returned. Which then made my new ship date 2/13/2024 through no fault of my own. So in effect I was penalized for your mistake. This makes me doubt your commitment and no expedited delivery. This confirmed to me that the customer is forced to do the ground work for your inability. The return process shows I returned the very product I wait for and makes no mention of the actual part I received. Very poor rating from me after what had been good service to that point.
I also should mention I had removed the old filter system in anticipation of receiving the Rough Country upgrade. So, in turn, I had to put it all back together. Overall an “F” grade on this last transaction. "
"I purchased a Rough Country front bumper plus winch for my Jeep Wrangler. It asked if I can get an extension. I can send them time-stamped pictures right before I open the boxes which will prove that I did not open the boxes before. The customer "service" rep was rigid and was not even willing to listen. I have bought through ExtremeTerrain and I have bought thousands of dollars' worth of accessories directly from manufacturers.
That is what I will do from now on. An middleman should provide service. If the service is poor, just cut them out of the process."
