"The selection on the website seemed very promising and high quality. I ordered four different pairs of black and white pumps to choose from for my wedding, all from presumably high end Italian designers, which cost around 100$ a pair. Unfortunately, ALL of the shoes I’ve ordered, without exception, were either dirty (marks of glue, weird black stains that cannot be removed), scratches etc. There was one pair that the front sole looked completely wrinkled, as if it has been worn before, just the bottom sole of the shoe was “renewed” by gluing a new sole to the bottom of the shoe and the heel. All the shoes I’ve ordered looked really low quality – you can easily see where they have cut the sole and there are distinct marks of glue at the poorly cut soles, it looked just ridiculously amateur. Not my idea of Italian quality.. The sizing is way off as well. There was this one pair that was marked on the site as “large to size”, but I ordered it my normal size anyway, just to find out that it was too small! Another big problem is that when you order internationally you have to pre-pay customs and taxes. Taxes and customs sum up to about 30% of your items value but here you pay about 60%(!) of your order value, money you will never see again even if you decide to return your items. You’ll be refunded only the cost of the items. But the real problem is their awful costumer service once you have decided to return your items. Now, when I've returned the shoes I'm having really hard time receiving my refund. My package with the returned items was delivered express and I can track it. I found out that it's being sitting at customs for over two weeks now, and all my inquiries with YOOX's customer service (mind you: e-mail only!) are either ignored or I get an answer like "we forwarded your inquiry to the returns office" which I never hear from again. Only after almost a month of e-mails, and only after I’ve notified them that I will tell about my experience with their service on every reviews site I can find, I was notified that although my package is still detained at customs (and again I was not explained why) I’ll receive my refund. In practice, it’s been a week now and I still don’t see the refund on my credit card balance sheet online. In summary, in my opinion this is the worst nightmare of the online shopper: promising selection on the site, poor quality in person, worst customer service.. keep away!! Disappointment guaranteed.."

"I LOVE SHOPPING AT YOOX!

Yoox is one of my favorite places to shop, because the selection of merchandise is amazing if you are interested in fashion. They usually ship their items fairly quickly but sometimes items can be slightly delayed if it comes from an overseas warehouse. To be honest I find it exciting that I am getting my items from an Italian warehouse (could be my inner fashionista).

I love the presentation of the merchandise (yoox box)> Items are also easily returnable. Label included and everything.

My only beef is the $10 shipping rate (ouch). They do run promotions so this offsets shipping costs for me somewhat. "

"I had found an amazing deal on a Marc Jacobs bag and bought it 8/7/11 - the same day it went on sale along with a Rebecca Minkoff Wallet. I upgraded to express shipping with a promotion code, which was 2-4 business day delivery. It is now 8/14/11 ONE FULL WEEK later and they never sent me a tracking number. When I went on the site and looked at my account on Saturday it told me that they cancelled one of the items because it was out of stock. But when I checked on the site it was still on sale! SO WTF?! They finally updated the listing today (8/14/11 @ 7:30PM) saying that it is now sold out meanwhile when I checked at 5:00PM it was still up. So my wallet is the only thing I'm receiving from my order and that's suppose to come in tomorrow - at this point I don't even want it anymore. Needless to say I'm livid and plan on complaining to customer service. I would caution anyone who gets their hopes up in purchasing something from them-it's a total gamble.

So I FINALLY recieved my wallet today. It was not as described and the zipper was jammed on arrival. The wallet depicted above had no mentioning of a gold grafiti on the back that said "Benjamins" I have requested a prepaid shipping lable and a full refund. We'll see what happens."

"Wow, don't know how I first heard about/saw YOOX, and I think it was unintentional. So glad I have! Well-known designers and name brands for way less. Occasionally, there is that high-end product with a high price, but that doesn't compare to the endless deals I've found on this shopping site.

Ok, so I'm not really into brand names, designers, and such, but if I'm able to buy them without breaking the bank, why not? Since March of this year, I've found great deals on so many brands. I got these SUPER nice (and genuine) pair of True Religion jeans. I paid an upward of $75.00 + free shipping, but you'll consider it a deal when the regular retail price was $298!! Interestingly enough, I didn't know anything about the trademark horseshoe design on people's jeans until I one day actually saw engraved on the button of one guy's jeans "True Religion." And they are authentic! I also got a discounted Pauric Sweeney handbag that I'm absolutely in love with, a cute summery polka-dot Marc Jacobs halter, and I find myself waiting for future orders. Other deals I've found: an extremely cute pair of 7 for All Mankind denim shorts for $30 (regularly $140), a gorgeous pair of Christian Dior leggings for $45 (regularly $280), and a hot pair of timeless Rock&Republic heels for $21 (regularly $160). I consider myself a bargain hunter and I think you simply cannot beat those prices. Even though shipping may seem steep to some (~$9.50), they occasionally do have free shipping (ended up not paying for shipping for my True Religion jeans)!

So, with all this talk about savings on YOOX, you may be wondering why they're able to keep their prices moderate to moderately low. All aforementioned items are from the past season: Fall-Winter. So, this means that they were unable to sell those items during the season and are now considered the sale items. They are trying to get rid of their inventory so they can make way for newer arrivals, but I say: last-season stuff is no different from other items. They look pretty good to wear year round!

I feel that I should mention the ease of checkout. YOOX makes it so easy to place items in your cart, carry on with the transaction, and confirm your order. They give you so many chances to finalize your order, so there's no reason to complain about your purchase (unless it were a wrong size, but even then, they let you know which sizes remain). However, sometimes, you just won't find your favorite item in your size. But I absolutely love the sale section; the shopping experience feels like more of a sample sale since sizes and quantities are limited. I would like more size selections, but I love the thrill. The DreamBox (a feature if you're a registered user) is way awesome and useful; it's like the 'Favorites' button on your standard browser, but it also lets you know of the availability of your item.

I haven't returned anything since my first purchase (I've so far made around 5 purchases), and that's saying a lot about YOOX as a company. Each purchase came on time, no packaging issues, no let-downs. I'm currently waiting on another order placed last Friday. You might feel at first you're spending a fortune on just one thing, but with the sale items, you'll feel like you're saving a bundle. I would highly recommend YOOX to friends and family.

"I think they have great products at YOOX and a wide selection with REALLY great prices.

I ordered three items from YOOX last sunday and I got the goods today friday. So it was on time. I could track it, from Italy-Germany-Denmark and to final destination Sweden, through the UPS-link of my ordernumber.

It was packed with silkpaper around every clothing item and the shoes came in seperate boxes so that was very neat. The items were exactly as pictures, if not even better.

I see that some people had problems with them but maybe they've gotten better? This was my first time I ordered from them and everything was just great. No problems at all. But as I said, it was the first time and I have never tried to return anything and that seems to be the problem for other customers.

But I almost only have positive things to say this time about YOOX.

Up to date fashion for a broad taste. You can find almost anything. If you care about fashion but you hate the city stores??? Go online, and use Yoox.
A nice feature is the dreambox with an alert function (wish list). If their is one left in stock of a piece of clothing you will be alerted by mail, and you will have 20 to 40 percent discount, depending on the brand.
I have ordered 5 times, and up to now I had no problem what so ever. I see the complaints in the other reviews, but I must say, that I haven't experienced that. All orders where delivered on time and correct.
A great plus is the paypal option, so you don't need a credit card.
You can even pay on delivery. This is something only a small amount of international online webshops support. Most shops only ask for just creditcards. Never understood the shops that only support creditcards. They miss a lot customers this way. I hate creditcards ... and I am not the only one.
Oh yeah ... Yoox ... a little 'dutch' thing now.
I spend over a 1000 euros at your shop ... why can't you sent me a voucher?? I am a regular customer, and let me stay your customer.

"Ordered two pairs of jeans from these scammers. I only received one. After UPS did an investigation it is proven that they owed me a pair. This took 2 weeks mind you. I had to pretty much call everyday for hours just to get anything from them. After the investigation they refused to give me a refund or replace my jeans. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in which Yoox currently holds an F rating. CHECK IT OUT YOURSELVES. AN F. They are still doing everything they can even with the BBB involved not to give me my money. Why? Because this company is run by thieves. The 3 people I talked to in customer service sent me fraudulent emails claiming to be from my credit card company and when I tried to talk to a superior I was only given the phone to other Yoox thieves who backed up their own employees. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with and not the first time I have had problems with them. Their customer service is NOT customer service and they do absolutely NOTHING to help or make things right. I mean it when I say, I am convinced this company is run by and employs thieves. "Great selection, good prices, smooth service.

They keep getting better and better - this is THE place to come for affordable designer fashion and accessories. Mostly European designers with the occasional American thrown in. This is where I buy DIESEL jeans and Armani suits, love the mix! The service is smooth, delivery is fast and customer care is responsive and friendly which tends to be an issue with online stores.

The only issue I have with this site is the homepage - the first time I checked it out I didn't realise they were a retailer, very weird.

Quality and appearance - Very much doubt it, ordered Prada pant and a Lacoste shirt, when received they looked like stacked in warehouse for years. There are no 'Made in' tags, care instructions are all wrinkled of aging, albeit they are unworn. Presumably, premium designer products are at low price just becoz of over-productive, antiquated styles and left over products.
