"Terrible customer service, after waiting for 45 minutes for them to answer, explained my issue to the Customer Rep, he said, I can’t hear you, do you hear me? And hang up. This has been twice. "
"I was a customer for decades, Nov of 2022 my order ($72) arrived with 3 broken products, everything in the package was covered with hand cream, wrinkle cream and conditioner. Mess..after repeated attempts (pictures included) to correct this failed I sent a check payment in full on Dec 29 2022. With payment I enclosed a note asking to be removed from customer list . In Feb 2023 I received a past due notice, after checking with bank..indeed the Dec check didn't clear. Again they asked for the full amount, I again sent a check for $72 with a note. April 2023 I received a letter issued me a credit of $72 expiration in March 2024 to be used on merchandise only. Well not much of an apology but ..I received a catalog a few days later. And they did owe me 3 products, so I thought ok. Well 3 days later at the ATM I discovered my balance was off. Going home calling bank I discovered why..they cashed that "lost" Dec check in March. After statements were mailed. If you do buy from them I hope you never have a problem because they won't correct it and will find a way to steal from you "
"Let me start by saying that I really like some of Yves Rocher's products - for instance, I love the fragrance of their body washes, which is unique and wonderful. BUT shopping online with them is a NIGHTMARE! (1) Their website is riddled with various annoying glitches - such as, for instance, a promo code that you've put in suddenly disappearing as you proceed through the checkout process so that you have to go back and restart the check out. (2) When entering your address, you are forced you to choose a title, but the options for women are limited to MISS and MRS There is no choice of MS (or DR). This is shameful in this day and age and leaves married women who have not adopted their husband's last name or those who don't want to be defied by their martial status without an appropriate option. (3) In their emails, the company promises to provide shipment tracking, but every single link they make available leads to some useless or erroneous page so that you NEVER get the promised info. (4) They charge you for your purchase BEFORE shipping your items. At the same time, their shipping speed can be abysmal (e.g. My latest order was made on Jan. 3rd and only on the 11th did I receive an update that it was ready to be shipped and should arrive within the next 2 weeks). Bottom line, if it cares about its customers, Yves Rocher needs to seriously improve its online presence, which is quite dreadful at the moment."

They played a crucial role in the arrest of Russian opposition leader and anti-corruption fighter Alexei Navalny, followed by massive protests and brutal arrests of thousands of people in all major Russian cities. While most of the world had condemned these actions, Yves Roche declared to be "apolitical", referring to the decision of Russian courts and somehow "forgetting" that European Court found Navalny not guilty! "In the 90's it was easier to order via catalog than it is online in 2020! It's truly unbelievable how bad their customer service is, and you can bet the CS people are in India. Not a single person I spoke to was in the USA or Europe. They could do very little to help, and their attitude is the worst! My order finally arrived after two weeks, but it was packaged so sloppy. Everything just flying around in the box. This will be my last YR order. Products have also gone down in quality. They cheapened out to make a buck. Oh, and they charge your card immediately and don't ship for weeks. That irked me too. All the reps had a hard time finding my order in their system, and they have this archaic "customer number" situation. They all claimed that my order had not been processed, but the transaction sure had been! It's a shame what has happened to Yves Rocher. Don't expect help via their Facebook page. They will never PM you back. I forgot something else.... their phone wait time is over 30 minutes, and after 10 there will be loud static on the line that will make you want to hang up. I'm sure that's their way of getting people off the line. "
"I can't tell you how stressful and inefficient this company is! I contacted them by phone, email, Facebook, Instagram, you name it, and never received resolve to my problem, which by the way, was them charging me and never sending the product. The customer service just sends stock replies, doesn't help whatsoever. I had to chargeback with Visa because I literally didn't even get a confirmation of order or shipping. They took my money, and did not send anything in return. Thieves."
"I placed an order and got a confirmation. After one month (almost)! I called to find out about my order. They didn’t even shipped it because the credit card didn’t get through(?!) Why did I get the confirmation then. I was offered to try it again but I just cancelled the whole order and I will never buy anything from them again."
"disgusting service. YvesRocher e-store hasn’t been in a hurry with delivery of orders before, but now this situation has deteriorated significantly. They shipped me my order 2 weeks after my purchase - in 2 weeks I demanded a full refund because I did not receive my order, they refused to return the money, but they said that my order is ready for shipment and again promised to deliver it within the next 10 days. As for product quality, the quality of some Yves Rocher products has deteriorated significantly too- for example, some shower gels now have a different smell than before."

"I ordered their products online but never got any purchase conformation yet my credit card still got charged. I have never received any shipment so I called their customer service. The lady on the phone said she didn't see my transaction and just hang up on me!
I ended up calling my credit card company to report it as a fraudulent case. "
