"I should have listened to the rest of the reviews here. Zwaveproducts.com is a SCAM. I was originally enticed with the free light module...what a sucker. They took me for over $300. Just try to call them for any reason BEFORE you purchase. If they won't answer the phone before the sale imagine what it will be like AFTER they steal your money. Can't believe they're still in business. Oh by the way, I returned my non-working merchandise just like I was told...after months of emails, credit card disputes, etc...no refund, no apology, no resolution. They stole my money and they will steal yours too. Do not do business with them, please. "

"Run as fast as you can from that Website. Shady company all the way around. There are other ways to get zwave products locally and via the web. The reason this stuff is hard to get is because its meant to be purchased through an integrator and not direct. Based on the few times they have answered the phone, Im pretty positive this website is run out of a home by some guy wearing sweatpants."

"Avoid this company at all costs. I spent just over $400 on two products. One product came in timely while the other never made it. The company never contacted to me to explain why it never came so I requested a refund for the item. It took them a week and multiple emails to reply to my original refund request. They said they would refund the amount but here we are 3 weeks later and still no refund. Despite me contacting them twice, I keep receiving the same response. The next step is to dispute the amount through my credit card company. "

"I came across a great Black Friday 2010 deal on a micasaverde Vera 2 controller listed on Slick Deals. Despite the poor reviews, I took a chance and ordered $300 of merchandise at a 20-40% discount. I've been pricing this unit for six months and this deal was exceptional. All items arrived in 4 days and were as advertised. I found that this outfit works out of the owner's house and is a typical small internet business with a bright future in home automation. Use a credit card for your safety and give them a chance. I'm pleased so far."

"Like everyone else. Avoid this company. No email sayig my $750 order shipped. It just arrived one day. Well, some of it. Tossed in a reused box. No packing material. Email was sent to ask about my other items. No reply. Got some more items a week later. Not what I ordered, but the price was about the same. Luckily, I got my money's worth or thereabouts. Shoulda read this site before ordering. The company is much better at having a decent website than shipping or customer service. I believe I could do better out of my basement. "

"I ordered the "free lamp module" and GE Z-Wave Wireless Lighting Control On/Off (45609) from ZWave products. After purchase, their site said it would be here by I believe Jan 11th, 2010. It arrived today, 1/6/2010. I also e-mailed support a number of times before placing my order and they were very helpful with providing me with product recommendations to fit my project. The only thing I wish was a bit better was their shipping prices. The "free" module was over $10 to ship, so I ordered a switch as well and the shipping increased by about $1 (understandable I guess, but still...)

I'd like to order more from them but I may have to save up until I need a bunch more items so I don't swallow the shipping costs.

***UPDATE***

After originally having a nice experience ordering from ZWAVEPRODUCTS.COM, I placed a second order. They shipped 2 of the 3 items, then dodged e-mails about the third item for $60 for nearly a month before I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Never again.

"Very poor communication. I am trying to get the UPS tracking number that their initial email said I would receive, but no luck yet. Product was shipped (according to their site) on Nov 17th, and the Estimated day of Delivery was Nov 25th. I got an email saying it was held at customs (I'm in Canada) and would be cleared on the 3rd of Dec. Another week has passed and still nothing.
Emailed again for a tracking number last Friday, no response yet.
Typically, UPS is fairly quick at getting things over the border, so I'm starting to wonder what's up. A tracking number would ease my mind, but they don't want to provide one.

Good prices, poor service! Will not use these guys again. Hope I at least get my order!

Update: Sent an email again. I said I wanted the tracking number, and that if it had, in fact, not been shipped, cancel my order and refund me. Their site now says my order is canceled. I guess the "stuck at customs" story was just a stall for time. Bummer. I hope the refund follows shortly.

Another Update: Had to get money back from Visa. No response from Zwaveproducts.

"zwaveproducts.com charged me for an order and I have not received it. I have emailed them 3 times. They have never responded. I also called the national sales manager and left a message. His contact information is listed below in this this press release. Call him if you have a problem. Maybe he will get tired of people leaving him messages and actually take care of the problem. "I was supposed to have received my full order on 4/26. On May 5th I finally received partial order and it was the wrong brand! Not to mention I was actually charged more without my knowledge. "Don't shop here. They don't ship their products and they won't answer your emails. In my case they didn't even charge my credit card. It just says pending and it will probably never ship. I think its just a website, but no one is actively working on shipping orders or anything. Its a shame because I really wanted that zwave light controller to use with new Harmony 890. "

"I had the exact same experience with this company as the other reviewers. I placed my order on December 3. My credit card was charged on December 8, and the status updated to "shipped." I contacted them on December 30, when I still had not received either a tracking number or the item. They immediately updated the status saying they had shipped it to the wrong address, and that it would be going out immediately with an arrival date of January 2. Well, it's January 3, and still no tracking number or merchandise. I've requested that they provide me with my order or tracking number, or return my money. I have a feeling I'll need to dispute the charges - and I spent about $100, so don't think it's just because you try to take advantage of the free module sale."

"Like the other reviewer, I initially ordered from ZWave Products to take advantage of their free zwave lamp module offer.

I placed the order on December 10, and my credit card was charged December 10. I received an e-mail about 5 days later saying the order would be shipped by 12/17. Finally on 12/22 their website was updated to say it was shipped by UPS, but no tracking number was supplied. It is now January 2 and I still have not received the lamp module or a tracking number. I have tried contacting them several times over the past week to get a tracking number but have not received a reply. I would not order from them again.


Update 1/15: This is funny to see the other reviewer comment because I got the exact same thing on 1/2, that it was "shipped to the wrong address" and that I would have a tracking number that night. Well it is now 1/15 and I have not heard back from zwave products. I went ahead and reversed the charge. It seems their service is getting worse - past reviews said they actually received their products it just took 3 - 4 weeks. Now its getting to the point of fraud where they are telling their customers that they have shipped to the wrong address when clearly nothing was shipped at all.
