"I have owned a ZAD 20 E for approximately seven years. Recently the saddle broke. I e-mailed Zager and told them I needed a replacement saddle. I asked how much it would cost for them to send me one. I was pleasantly surprised when they informed me that the guitar came with a lifetime warranty and that there would be no cost involved. I was told I would receive one in a few days. Zager was true to their word. The saddle arrived in a few days, I put it in and was back in business. I want to thank them for being honest and loyal to their customers. I have to say I own several other guitars including an Ovation, Alvarez Yari, Fender, and a Martin D 28. I know quality guitars. I have Martins, an R Taylor, a Goodall, two ‘60’s Gibson’s, two custom built Jeff Henry guitars, etc.
For the ZAD-20 price point, service, and quality, I haven’t found a guitar that looks, plays, sounds, and has better intonation. And, the HS case even has a hydrometer!!
Martin’s Standard Series D-18’s can’t keep up with this ZAD-20.

"I've had my Zad900CE for about a month now. I was waiting to really get a chance to play it for a while before reviewing. I have a Taylor Guitar, and a really nice Takamine that I love...but I decided to take a chance after reading the reviews and the Guarantee that Zager gives...I figured I had nothing to lose.
From the time I took it out of the case, it just feels different. Plays like butter. I kept reading about folks saying they got theirs, started playing and then it was 3 or 4 hours later. Well, that's exactly correct. I'm not a solo guitar player, I'm a strummer and a singer; but I have to say, this guitar makes me a BETTER guitar player. It really is everything people say in the reviews, and the sound and projection is amazing. "I bought my ZAD900 in 2014. I've owned high end Martins, Taylors, Guilds and Ovations. When it was delivered, I was surprised it was still in tune!!
My first impression was how easy on my fingers this guitar was. The special setup by Dennis has a low action but none of the string buzzes you will usually get from strings set low. But what I'm most impressed with is the sound. This guitar has the most full and beautiful sound I've ever heard from an acoustic guitar. It sounds better than my Martins, Taylors, Guild and Ovation. Because this guitar cost about 1/3 of my other high end guitars, this sound was just not something I expected. And now, the guitar is 5 yrs old and the woods are starting mature a little and the guitar sounds better than it did the day I got it.

"I'm an experienced player (50+ Years) and I own two Zager acoustic guitars (ZAD-50CE and ZAD-20 E/N). The 50CE is my go-to acoustic for gigs and the 20 E/N is my wife's. In short, we couldn't be happier with the quality, playability, and the richness of the sound. This guitar will satisfy the needs of players from novice to pro. Unfortunately, I recently needed some help from Zager Support. The low "E" string on my 50CE started buzzing after my son fell down the stairs while carrying the guitar. After consulting Dennis Zager via email, I visited the video support page on the Zager website for E-Z instructions for adjusting the truss rod and this helped quite a bit but not totally. Then Dennis was kind enough to send me a new saddle for the bridge. There even was a short video with instructions for replacing the saddle (took me all of about 15 minutes). The end result is the guitar is back as my go-to acoustic guitar for my gigs and it sounds great. My wife and I have always been very happy with the instruments but it was also a pleasant surprise to see how far Zager Guitar goes to stand behind their products. This includes an extensive collection of instructional/tuning/repair videos and very quick, and helpful, email responses to all inquiries.

"I'm a collector of acoustic guitars so many remain in the case. As a part of my collection, I own 2 Zager Guitars (a ZAD-80ce and a Traveler). I play the ZAD-80ce almost every day. The ZAD-80 sounds better than my 5K and up guitars and is far easier to play. I can play for 2 or 3 hours at a time and my fingers could go longer without hurting. Playing the Zager guitars allows me to relax and enjoy making music. Perhaps the best thing about the guitar is the sound thru my Fishman LoudBox. As I mentioned before, the tones produced by the ZAD-80ce are simply beautiful. I'm now just waiting for that great deal on a ZAD-900ce.

My lovely African Mahogany Parlor Guitar arrived today. It is beautiful! I am so pleased to have this guitar in my hands! Like many before me, I sought out your guitar building and set-up skills to help with my inability to comfortably play barre chords, and complex chords involving a long reach and the use of 4 fingers. I can say definitively, that my hands are so much more comfortable on the neck of this guitar! The neck profile, unique string spacing and perfect action, paired with your strings, really allow me to comfortably execute barre chords with ease for the first time ever! I began playing guitar when I was 11. I have missed out on so much by not being able to play difficult chords...54 years of avoidance...lol...but not any more! I own several 6 and 12 string guitars...from Taylor, Martin, Guild, Ovation...even a Strat...all professionally set up when purchased, and adjusted through the years when restrung...but this guitar is the best size, scale and neck for me. Despite its compact size, it projects well, and has a balanced, bright, lively sound. The details on my guitar are first rate...the finish, abalone inlays, and black binding are lovely. The Grover Tuners and hand carved saddle and nut...the low profile fret wires...everything about this guitar is quality...and perfect for me as a woman with smaller hands. Love this guitar!!! "I received my Zager guitar yesterday and it is a beautiful guitar. Best looking guitar I have ever seen. Besides the looks, it plays sweet tones. I could not put the guitar down and after playing for a good time I noticed that my fingers did not hurt like they usually do after playing for a long time. I also noticed that certain cords where I usually have problems with bussing sounds were no longer having this issue. From the time I ordered the guitar until it arrived the Zager folks keep me well informed. One can really notice that they strive to give everyone a pleasant experience. I am really happy with this purchase and look forward to playing this guitar at church next Sunday. I am excited to hear the guitar when it is plugged into to the church sound system. "
"I played some back in highschool then life got in the way. Now at the age of 67 I decided to take up playing once again. I have 3 acoustics and 2 electrics but my main guitar for practice is the ZAD50CE the tone is noticeably better than my Yamaha acoustics and it is easier to play. I doubt you will find any individuals more eager to please the customer than Dennis and Dennis. I recommend the Zager to anyone who aspires to create soothing melodies.
