"I am finally a Zager guitar owner. I just received my ZAD50CE guitar. I love it. The craftsmanship and build quality is amazing, the starburst finish is beautiful and the sound is incredible! I can see why you call them "Easy Play".
I could not put it down this morning and was able to play it for hours! That is something I have not been able to do for years. I have been playing since 1969 and without a doubt this is the easiest playing acoustic I have ever had, and at age 63 my hands and fingers have a little arthritis and extended playing time well that has not been an option for me. And BTW I was always a fan of your father as a musician, and now as a luthier. I was in business with my dad for over 30 years and I always try to do business with and appreciate working with family owned and operated businesses. You and your dad truly appreciate and value your customers, it shows in your great customer service.
Sincerely,
Frank Rende

"Dennis Jr was a pleasure to deal with, very personable and lots of knowledge. My Zager guitar is the easiest guitar I have ever played, and the tone and everything about it is first class.
Thanks Denny and Dennis Jr."

Hi my name is Ron and I'm a 59 year-old wheelchair-bound disabled Army veteran.
I get pretty bored in the wheelchair and I really enjoy listening to music and often singing along.
So I decided I was going to teach myself how to play the guitar.
I thought it would be good therapy for my cripples up hands.
You see it I've been using a walker in the house in a wheelchair outside of the house for over 25 years.
Over the years I have broke my hands, wrist, and fingers numerous times.
So I looked at learning the guitar as a way of doing therapy to try and maybe regenerate some hand movement.
Well unfortunately I learned the hard way that you need really strong hands to play the average guitar.
You see the first guitar that I bought was a dreadnought and the way it was set up was just too difficult for me to be able to press the strings, and the body style was just too big for me.
However I did not want to give up on trying to learn how to play the guitar because I really enjoyed what little I was able to do given my circumstances.
So I started searching the internet looking for options any options so that I can continue to try and play
This is where I came across Zager Guitars.
In talking with Dennis Jr, who was quite helpful, I decided to get a
ZAD50CEOM.
You see this particular model has a body style that's more conducive for a player who sits like me , because I am in a wheelchair.
It's also a little bit narrower in the body of the guitar so it's easier for me to hold close.
It has a much better neck design for someone like me who's had quite a few injuries to his hands and wrists and
Right out of the case it sounded great with its very first strum of the strings.
And it looks beautiful.
Definitely a work of art.
I look forward to using the online lesson Library that is offered and hope to be making music very soon
Thank you Dennis Zager for developing a guitar like this.
And thank you to your entire family and staff for all their help.
Yours truly Ron"
"I recently received my Zager ZAD50CE Solid Spruce/Mahogany Acoustic Electric Black Lacquer guitar and I'm nothing short of totally satisfied. The workmanship is truly outstanding with obvious attention to detail and construction. This guitar is not only a work of art but the sound and feel is exceptional. With or without using the onboard electronics, the tonal quality is superb ! In addition, the free case provided along with the support items is just icing on a perfect cake. Having played various Martin's, Takamine's, etc., I have to say this Zagar guitar is very competitive if not superior. "
"Just received my new guitar from Zager -- ZAD50CEOM -- beautiful guitar and the sound is super. I'm a beginner and I already sound a lot better. Tone is great, hooked it up to my Fender acousta-sonic amp, sound was incredible. I forgot that this model has a built-in tuner and I loved that. My thanks to the entire Zager family, Dennis Jr. provided great customer support while I waited for this one and it was well worth the wait! "
"I have bought two guitars now from Zager, a ZAD50OM which I was very happy with. The sound is clear and bright and the craftmanship that went into the instrument is very clear.
A few months later I decided I wanted another sound, I kicked around the idea of buying a Martin, Gibson, or Taylor but kept going back to look at the Zager site. I decided to go with the flagship, 900CE full size, and I am glad I did, this guitar alone is a piece of art with nice deep and high tones,
Dennis Zager Jr. is very responsive to questions and will usually reply back to emails within 24 hours. Any communication I have had with Zager guitars has been positive and I have nothing negative to say about my experience. If you're looking for what I feel I quality with a family business touch you can't loose with Zager. "
"I decided to use my new Zager on Sept 15th during a 6-hour live jam with some of the legends of Country Music. The guitar sounded crisp and clear and the Fishman Aura electronics fed pure acoustic sound to the PA system. I loved how easy the guitar was to play, both in minimizing hand fatigue and in the finger-saving action. The Fishman panel allowed me to tune the guitar visually offline and quickly return to audio feed. The only issues I experienced were that, 1) on some tunes, I overplayed a bit causing some buzz on the low E and A strings, but that can be easily remedied with a minor truss rod adjustment; and 2) the Fishman system burns through batteries and went dead with 90 minutes to go in the gig! With the Fishman offline, it could no longer play my chosen acoustic profile, filter out feedback, nor provide me with the visual tuner; however, the sound of the guitar in the feed was still excellent. The audio engineer simply dropped my stage-monitor levels, and brightened up the EQ a tiny bit to compensate. Overall, the Zager lived up to its reputation and equaled the sound of my Martin D-35 and Taylor 800 series guitars. Impressive guitar!"
"I started playing guitar when I was a middle school student. I have not played consistently over the years, but I have played enough and been around enough to see and play other instruments at various guitar shops, from big name to small town personal store fronts. When I was looking to make an upgrade purchase a few years ago, my friend had purchased a Zager ZAD 80CE which he really enjoyed playing and looked beautiful. I did some looking into Zager, and found they were all made in Lincoln, Nebraska by a shop of people, verses a production facility. This fit in with my style in that I enjoy the authenticity of both craftsman and artists who create their own items. As I researched my price point, I decided to wait a few years, save some extra money and buy a guitar to keep for life rather than another to replace and upgrade. I made the right decision. This guitar plays very well across the fret board, from the first fret all the way down, and every note is clear. Power cords, standard open cords, finger leading all sound very good and the craftsmanship is very beautiful. The grain of the wood speaks for itself as it shines through. I highly recommend anyone looking for a genuinely beautiful instrument make a purchase. Best, Miles Quaife, (Redding, CA)"
"I ordered this guitar as a birthday present for my husband. I first appreciated how all the team was adorable, as I made a mistake in my E-mail address, and received no information about my order.
I live in France, so it was a huge travel for the guitar. The delivery was fast (5 days) and it was very hard for me not to open the parcel until the night.
But my patience was rewarded : when we opened it, we noticed the high quality of everything! The case, the capo, the guitar, all its little details that make all the difference... excuse my lack of vocabulary, but believe me, there were stars in our eyes....
And then we heard the sound! A clear, pure sound floating in the air, and it was loud and deep, like if it was plugged, except it was not!
Honestly, I could make a poem about it, or better, I think I'll write a song.
Thank you for everything, keep Rolling!"
"I received my Zager ZAD80CE today. The packaging was easy to open, but padded enough to protect the investment. Upon opening the case I was literally stunned at the quality of workmanship I was observing. The finish was splendid, the inlay breathtaking, but looks only makes up a small part of buying an instrument like this. The sound is rich now, but I expect it to only improve with time.
Right out of the box, the action was set way too high for my taste, so I started gently adjusting it with the included hex wrench. After a few minutes of gradual adjustments I had the action lower than many electrics I have played in the past with absolutely NO buzzing on any of the strings or frets. It truly takes a quality instrument to be able to take the action even this low! After things have had time to settle down some I will probably attempt a few more adjustments to see just how low I can get the action.
I am truly looking forward to enjoying this guitar for a LONG time. Already it outperforms (and out sounds) many Martins and Taylors I have played in the past."
"This guitar will play head to head with any Gibson, Taylor or any other. Compare it to the best and you will be amazed. I researched quality guitars for many months and played many guitars at shops but this Zager 900 CE is by far the best. The low end is amazing. The Aura system is great. The action is fantastic. Just look at the grain and finish on the pictures. The inlayed pearl everywhere is beautiful. You cannot go wrong on their guarantee that they will pay shipping back if you don't like it. Their web site has so many videos. Watch EVERY one and then you will understand why I chose to buy one. The help page full of videos is also a great help. Why did I buy the 900 CE and not one of the cheaper ones? Because I listened to many a person who recorded phone calls to Zager who said they bought a 50, then an 80 and then a 900. I figured, why not just save up and buy one! So I did and I'm not sorry I did. Thank you Mr. Zager for creating such a fine instrument. I LOVE IT!!!!! It came well packaged in a Zager box and was inside the professional plastic case with the humidistat inside. Dennis Jr. is very responsive if you Email a question. He usually responds within a day. Most questions can be answered on their web site Help page. If I'm ever in the market for another Acoustic guitar, Zager is my go to guitar from now on.

"I just got my new guitar (ZAD80) today. Its PERFECT, and it sounds amazing Im sure Ill spend a lot of time with her. Thank you!"
"My father bought my son a Zager guitar for his 12th birthday. We did a lot of research on other nice brands...Taylor and Martin for example. While all are beautiful guitars, Zager is the best. From the communication between Mr. Zager and my father to the quality and craftsmanship, we are so impressed. Such kind people to deal with and the guitar is absolutely perfect. My son loves how it sounds and plays. His guitar teacher loves it too. We are very picky people and hard to impress usually, but Zager really left us speechless. Highly recommended. "
"I received my Zager Parlor Acoustic a few months back as an anniversary gift and have been thrilled with it. After learning ukulele for the last several years (with the intent of branching out to guitar), this is my first guitar, and both the guitar and the Zager company seem like the best way to start. As so many have said, Dennis Jr. sets the standard for customer service - I work in sales myself and learned a few helpful lessons from working with him. Even after the sale he’s been extremely supportive. When I wrote to let him know one of the strings was buzzing (common problem from shipping) he directed me to an extremely helpful video they’ve made showing how to adjust the neck myself (with the included tool they sent). And on top of all that they’ve thrown in free access to their online lesson library and I feel like I’ve gone to heaven. It should also be mentioned that the guitar itself is pristine, very high quality (and value for money) and lives up the EZ-play name. I’m sticking with these guys."
"The customer support is superb. The emails are answered promptly, even beyond regular hours. 100% money back with paid FedEx shipment both ways is true. I was not completely happy with the first guitar I received, and the only pressure was the tempting offer to send me another one, a class better, for the same price. I took this offer and the second guitar was on the way even before I was able to pack and send back the first one. Ultimately, I decided to keep the second guitar, as I liked it very much. "
