"I started ordering supplies from aLatteHotte couple of months back for their low prices. One day my Saeco failed and decided to call them as they are a certified repair center. Rob guided me thru some troubleshooting and my machine worked again. The beans I was using were not too healthy for my machine. He recommended dryer beans which I bougt from him, black cat, the best coffee I've ever had but my machine failed again and is time I had to send it in. Rob gave me a very fair quote to repair my machine but he also gave me as nice trade in quote in case I wanted to upgrade so I went ahead and took advantage of the trade in program.mhe gave me $300 for my old Saeco and I got a brand new shiny Saeco that I love. It was such a great deal and I even got some freebies that came after the machine arrived. I am so happy and I highly recommend aLatteHotte. They really know their stuff!!"
"Despite the reviews I decided to give aLatteHotte a try because the positive reviews outnumber the negative and boy was I glad. Some of these "negative" reviews must be from people that didn't get their way or something because I had nothing but an amazing experience with these guys. I wanna start with the fact that Rob is a guru on these machines, he knows everything so he was able to point me onto the right machine. "This company lists pretty much *every* product as "in stock" but the truth is that they simply transmit orders to a drop shipper and are at their mercy. They'll "promise" whatever delivery window the customer asks for, but shipping could take from days to weeks."
"I just had the WORST customer experience of my entire life with this company. Website advertises 24 hour turnaround on repairs. I waited a week after receiving the email that my machine was repaired (to allow time for shipping) and had not received my machine. I called the toll free number at 2:30 p.m. business time and was told it would be checked on first thing the following day and he would get back to me. When I didn't hear back from them the following day, I called again and spoke to the same guy. He admitted that THEY had made a mistake and accidentally marked my product for pick up rather than shipping and it had not even been shipped out yet. I asked them to overnight it to me since the delay was due to their error. He said he couldn't overnight it. I asked him if he couldn't or he wouldn't. He said he WOULDN'T. When I told him I was very displeased with the service I had received and disappointed that he would not try to make any amends for their error that caused me major inconvenience, he told me, "I DON'T CARE!". I don't know how well they repair machines (since I'm STILL waiting on mine) but I won't do business with this company because they care more about themselves rather than providing good customer service and standing behind their promises."
"For many years I had a Saeco Magic machine that I thoroughly enjoyed. It began leaking so I found aLatteHotte on the internet, connected with them, then spent $80 shipping my machine to them for repair. Their estimate of repair came to $285 + shipping; and, they appraised my machine at $64. They had a deal whereas they would purchase my old machine at the appraised value and put it toward the purchase of a new machine. I decided upon the Giro Odeo machine as they assured me that it was a terrific machine and so on. I spent an additional $599 for the machine. When it arrived, it did not work. I called aLatteHotte and Rob, the Director, walked me through several steps before he declared it broken. I had to ship it back and he promised to send me out another one immediately. He didn't send the second machine out until nearly a week after receiving the first one back. Just two months later, the new machine started leaking water out of the steam wand. When I contacted aLatteHotte, they said they couldn't do anything and made me get ahold of Saeco. Saeco eventually had me ship my machine to Washington. I was without it for two weeks while it was being fixed. Just six weeks later, it stopped dripping coffee altogether. Again, I reached out to aLatteHotte and they again pointed me to Saeco. After finding out that Saeco would need at least three weeks to fix the machine I finally said enough. I purchased the machine just a few months ago and during the course of those few months, I was usually without a coffee machine! Saeco agree to refund the full $599 to aLatteHotte. When I asked aLatteHotte about the refund, Rob, the Director said he had nothing to do with refunds - I needed to work with Saeco. Back to Saeco, they had already sent him the funds. After another message he said he would send the check. He sent $569 - thirty dollars short. When asked about the shortage, Rob, the Director of aLatteHotte responded with, and I quote:
"It costs us to send it to you in the first place! Saeco does not pay the cost of shipping in their reimbursement to us. You're going to have to live with it. Our business is complete!
There will be NO additional funds.
