"Shari's Berries used to be the best! I don't know when they sold to the 1 800 flowers group, but it is not the same. They used to always send the biggest juiciest strawberries via fedex in a cold packed box. Now they rely on local florists. Last time, they didn't call, so they couldn't get in to deliver my daughter's berries. It wasn't until she called them that they brought them the next day. I thought, ok, everybody has a bad day. I'll give them another chance. This time, I placed two orders. I thought it was odd that I never received an email confirmation. A couple of days later, I called. They did have my order and the customer service rep said she would send an email confirm and gave me the order numbers. No email came. a few days after that, they sent me a text asking to call. They informed me that the Easter decorated ones weren't available in her area because they were coming from a local florist. I wasn't happy about that AND there were only a few items I could choose from. The 2nd order was fine and would be fedexed as usual. Ok. Friday comes and neither received their berries. I called the next day and that's when they informed me there were no berries available in either area and I would have to choose something else. I asked if they could get a fruit basket delivered. She said of yes, but we can't get it there until Wednesday. This took at least 40 minutes on the phone to figure all of this out. I finally said to refund my money. She did without a problem, but it Was an Easter gift and a birthday gift! What else could I have delivered same day on a Saturday? NOTHING! I will never buy from any of the many companies they own!"
"This company doesn’t do exactly your order, I 2 times emphasized that deliver the same item I chose but delivered another one. When I called customer service unfortunately anybody had not responsible to that wrong delivery and said we will deliver the same item again but they did not do. I never order anything again in future from this company.☹️"
"I strongly advise that people not order from this company. This was the worst gift ordering experience I have ever had. This company used to be OK but clearly not anymore. My order was supposed to be delivered on The 18th and they assured me several times it would be delivered that day. It never arrived. They told me it was delivered on the 19th but that was also false as no delivery occurred. Today I called and talk to a customer service representative in another country. Now they’re telling me it’ll be delivered tomorrow. They have lied over and over to me through emails and phone calls. This is a total nightmare."
"In years past I would anxiously await my Fed Ex box from Shari’s Berries out of California I believe. They were absolutely perfect - this year we received a box packaged at a store locally under the name Sharis Baerries and delivered by a private company 2 days after Valentines Day. The berries were not ripe and honestly the local grocery store does a better job. My husband has ordered there for years, but this is the last year. No more. Quality and service has suffered tremendously with the apparent buy out. "

"I ordered flowers and berries. Just like every other year. I noticed on my confirmation page that the flowers had the wrong delivery date. I placed the order at 12:52 and called about the issue at 12:53! One and half hours later and about 5 different representatives of "customer service" I'm told all sales are final and my date can't be changed! Now the flowers are being sent to my girlfriend's job on the wrong day and her job will be closed by the time they arrive. Absolute joke. I will never order from this place again. "
"When placing my order Tuesday, I inadvertently typed in the street address as 529 instead of 522. My mistake, obviously. I noticed it immediately, within 2 minutes of placing my order, which was to be delivered Friday, with it being shipped Thursday. I contacted customer service via email immediately, asking to just have the street number changed. I was told that it was "not possible to cancel my order"
I politely wrote back saying I did not wish to cancel my order, just have the address changed. I was replied to, very quickly, saying my order was out for delivery already and changes were not allowed. (This was less than an hour after my order was placed).
So, since email wasn't getting my message across, I attempted to call customer service. The gentleman was trying to be very helpful, but there was an obvious language barrier. No worries. After 10 minutes we were able to communicate the 16 digit order number. He made the change, and I hung up, thinking this was over....
I get a call back from another customer service representative less than 2 minutes later, reading from a script in barely understandable English, that the fulfillment center informed him that they no longer could fulfill my order because of the recent address change, and that he would like to offer me a comparable product at a discount to send. Keep in mind that the "address change" was literally across the street.
I attempted to politely decline the offer and requested that my order just be cancelled, so that I could go online and pick something else out on my own. He re-read the same script 3 times. Eventually, he realized I was not budging, and put me on hold for 5 minutes. He came back to the phone, re-read the script one more time, and then, after I still did not agree to the switch, "cancelled" my order.
At this point, I really assumed I had put this behind me. However, when I log into my account and view my order, it is still active, and pending delivery confirmation.... with the wrong street number still listed.
This is unacceptable customer service, on so, so many levels. I have been patient and understanding that this is my fault in the beginning, since I did type in the street number wrong. However, the response from that point forward has left me no choice to never do business with this company again, which is a shame, because I would order my daughter these berries as a surprise multiple times a year, and she enjoys them. "
"I have had so many issues with this company. I ordered flowers to be delivered on my moms birthday, they werent delivered until the day after her bday and they were the wrong flowers. No one called, emailed, text, nothing. WHY ask for an email and phone number if you arent going to use them for a purpose other than sending confirmations. I was charged a $17.99 service fee when their website clearly states $12.99 for orders 0.00-69.99. I emailed them, they said "oh, were sorry. Please email this address." REALLY, you are going to have me email multiple addresses. I did and I attached photos, I get an automatic message saying "Well, what can I say, but sorry" SERIOUSLY who starts an email that way, and it was from the founder. They gave me a gift card, when all I wanted was them to send the flowers I ordered and explain why they werent sent in the first place. I called them twice and, of course, their Customer Service is overseas, it was sooooo loud I could barley here the girl helping me and she didnt help me at all. She said I'll have the flowers ordered and sent to you and a confirmation will come in about an hour. I got the confirmation and its the same DAMN wrong flowers. I keep getting confirmations that things I didnt order are being delivered. My mom has not received 3 sets of the wrong flower and a gift basket that she cant eat because shes diabetic and its swimming with sugar snacks. This company didnt even think to ask if these were acceptable to send in place of the flowers I ordered. NEVER AGAIN "

And I was fortunate enough to deal with Trisha and Tammy in the Executive Service Department...I can't tell you how mad I am at missing my daughters 1 year anniversary of her job that she could share the berries with...everybody should let ALL the local radio shows know too how bad they are and it will be a reflection on them!!"
"In my opinion, there is NO WAY their average score is this high without including paid reviewers. I have never run across anyone who would rate this company over 2 or 3 stars max. I paid $35 for an order and was charged $38 for shipping! That is $73 for 12 strawberries (which is over $6 per strawberry!!!) and a few pretzels! Now, nobody held a gun to my head to purchase, but I was using a coupon to get an order for my wife that she saw on TV and wanted. I then had to pay $17 for shipping, $5 for Valentine Day delivery and then $16 more (which I just flat refused to pay) for before noon delivery because they will not guarantee a before 5 PM delivery to a business! They would be better off (psychologically) just charging me $60 and free shipping but they know nobody would pay that much for 12 strawberries and 3 pretzels! I feel like an idiot getting this but my wife wanted it so I did it anyway....

"Received a Shari's Berries gift from a friend, and enclosed was a card stating "$15 off your next order of $30 or more - to redeem, visit berries/com/gift or call ***-***-****." Since there was no code on the card, I called the # and they told me that there was no such offer, and offered to give me 20% off, what a joke! I told the agent that I wasn't making this up, and the card said that offer expires in 30 days from receipt, which I was well within that time. I have the copy of the card if they wanted it as proof, but they don't seem to care. It's disappointing that they don't honor what they say. Beware of their misleading offers! This will be my first and last time ordering with them! "
"I placed an order on 8/5/19 for a Full Dozen Hand-Dipped Birthday Strawberries to be delivered to my daughter on her 30th birthday as a special treat. But Shari’s Berri’s canceled the order sometime after 8/5 and never notified me at all. I did not find out until I called on the afternoon of 8/13 to find out where the delivery was because I had not received an e-mail of my order going out the door. I was told at time my order had been canceled days ago and I should have been notified. I looked through my e-mail and had no notification of my order being canceled – only a 25% off promotion for ordering with Shari’s Berries. But while I am on the phone with Shari’s Berries customer service person, I get a confirmation of my order for that day 8/13/19. So that proved I had never been notified my order was canceled and did not have the opportunity to have done something else for my daughter’s special birthday. The customer service person had the” Sorry about your luck” attitude and did not offer me anything. This was the first time I had ordered from Sheri’s Berries because I knew it was something my daughter would really like. NEVER again – Cancelling my order, not notifying me so I could order something else, offering me nothing for ruining my daughters special birthday , and over all Shari’s Berries – We Do Not Care Attitude! I have told everyone and posted wherever I can about this horrible experience and how Sheri’s Berries does not care at all about their customers even when they ruin special occasions.
