Mom never received her Mother's Day gift

This order was supposed to deliver between 5-06-22 and 5-08-22. It was my mother's day gift for my mom. I called on mother's day at 4pm when it still was only showing processed and the first person I spoke to lied about it being in transit. She said they had until 8pm to deliver. So when 8pm came I called back an spoke with someone else who confirmed that it was only showing processed. Shara Jane was very polite and she tried to make right. She offered me my money back and stated that my mom would still get the order. But here it is 6:40pm on Monday the day after mother's day and my mom still have not received this order. I can't express the anger and disappointment I'm feeling right now. I will never use this service again.

Dead flowers

"My husband bought flowers from here twice, the first time I got my flowers the strawberries were spoiled and the roses died within a week (2 dozen). This time around the tulips were completely dead by Sunday (Mother's Day) and I received them on Friday. So very sad and disappointed. My husband just said " Sorry, they didn't look like that in the picture" :( "

Heart drop

"Mother’s Day is a special day, 2 years in a row they have completely dropped the ball, last year I ordered flowers and berries for my mom, she didn’t get them, I called and they ended up sending 2 orders to her after the date they were due. I was thankful they fixed their mistake. This time I got charged for 2 orders, so I called and had them cancel one of them. I didn’t here from my mom so I called and asked her if she had gotten anything from us, she said no, I went to track the order and found out they had canceled both orders. I called Customer service and all they would say is I’m sorry, no mention of even trying to rectify the situation, I was told to place the order again, it’s the day before Mother’s Day, can you guarantee it will get there tomorrow? No ma’am. That really doesn’t help me. I will not be using them again. "

Cute products, poor service

"I ordered through Shari's Berries twice and both times, I was notified my order was delivered but it never arrived to the recipient (my mom) who lives in a different state from me. I contacted customer service and received basically a crap apology and an explanation about flex delivery, which I already knew about and accepted on the prompt that came up during the checkout process. I acknowledged I knew about the flex delivery and informed the rep that my mom just had knee surgery and my step-dad is retired so there's no way that anyone could have missed the delivery that was supposedly made by Shari's Berries.

No offer to have it remade and redelivered, no offer to refund, no asking how to improve service or better my experience. Nothing. Just terrible customer service and people skills apparently.

Horrible Customer Service!

"First of all I actually like the quality of the chocolate covered strawberries and flowers from Shari’s Berries. I don’t mind ordering from them. They actually have a very fast turnaround time.

However, I placed an order around 1am the day before yesterday. I tried to cancel about 5 minutes after I ordered it. Then later yesterday morning I finally was able to contact someone over the phone after previously talking with two other people over messenger - one of whom (over messenger) said my order had been cancelled.

The person on the phone had to end up calling me back twice because my account was locked by the other agents over messenger. Finally the 2nd time I was called back I was told my order was cancelled and I would be getting a refund.

Today I received a picture and a thank you from the recipient of the order that was supposed to have been cancelled.

Shari’s Berries has great quality products but TERRIBLE customer service. I desperately needed my order cancelled this go around. It would’ve been different if they would’ve told me that the order had already been shipped and it was too late to cancel but that’s not the case.

JUST DUMB & UNPROFESSIONAL

"So my boyfriend ordered me some chocolates, ballons and a teddy bear for Valentine’s Day , not only did he order it in advance they charged him TWICE & he struggled to get his refund back. So he sent me the money the THIRD time to order it myself and it said “order placed/confirmed” , I was suppose to get my order delivered today, NOTHING came at all. I literally had to call the company and ask them where my order was just for them to tell me they canceled it and I can’t get a refund. WTF ??? Unprofessional and the dumb mfs who answer the phone , don’t know s*** , just “I’m sorry ma’am,let me transfer” THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND IF NOT A SCAM JUST A BAD PIECE OF s*** company ! Close down and try again cause y’all ****. Edible arrangements would never do this."

From mediocre to bad, no refund on a missing $393.89 order

"I've been ordering from Shari's Berries for 7 or 8 years. I usually spend a couple thousand dollars per year for various people i.e. wife, grandmother, kids mother etc. There have been issues in the past melted chocolate, broken flowers, broken vases, and for the most part Shari's Berries has tried to make things right.

However the way we were treated this time is completely unacceptable.

My grandmother is 91 years old and has recently moved to a nursing home that is located 3 hours away from where I live. I visit her every weekend, I found out in November of 2021 I would not be able to visit her the weekend of February 11th 2022, I ordered her some flowers and strawberries on November 23,2021, to apologize for not being able to visit her that weekend. The order was $393.89.

I received a call from Shari's berries on February 9,2022, letting me know they have canceled my order because they had a large number of orders come in. As a business owner myself I understand not being overwhelmed with orders, I understand not being able to get to every customer right away, I also understand having to turn customers away. What I don't understand is, I placed my order 3 months ago, why was my order was not first in line? Why they waited until two days before the order was to be delivered to inform me? And why they would treat a customer who has spend over $6000 with their company with such disregard? And why on earth would you treat a elderly woman with in the same manner?

The customer support individual I talked to was very professional, I understand it wasn't his fault or his decision to cancel the order, and he did his best to handle the situation. However the person making the decisions should have enough gumption to make the calls themselves.

I still don't have a full refund of the $393.89.

Fedex Delivery?

"I ordered flowers and candy for wife's birthday to a school. Instead of using local sources like every other company I have used, they shipped Fedex from NJ to TX! Needless to say it did not arrive on time at the school. I called and asked why would they use Fedex and not local and they hung up on me. Never again, lesson learned."

WORST GIFT IDEA EVER

"I trusted Shari's Berries to deliver a gift to my wife who had to be out of town on her birthday. After placing the order I called 2-days in advance to confirm that everything was on track, and they verified that it was. On the delivery date I looked at the tracking information and found that it was going to the street address where she was but with our city, state, and zip code. They promised the delivery truck was going to drive the 475 miles and have it there by the end of the day. I knew that was not going to happen, but they said they could do nothing else because everything looked to be on track. They also reached out to my wife and told her it would be delivered, ruining the surprise delivery. Their resolution was to resend 3 days later and upgrade the size of a box of chocolates (I have since learned that the size I'd originally ordered was actually out of stock), and to give me $20 off my next order... which will never happen!!!"

Shari's Berries Fails Again

I placed an order for birthday chocolate-covered strawberries to be delivered on Friday, 5/21/21. The order never got delivered. I contacted customer service & was offered a partial refund of $20 for the delay & was told the berries would be delivered the next day. Then I received the email confirmation for the refund & it stated the refund would be returned to me in 30-45 days. What?!

I was also told the delivery would be sent to a different florist for delivery on Saturday. But they refused to tell me who the local florist was that would be delivering the berries. They told me it was company policy not to share that information. What a bunch of nonsense. I finally got an email confirmation on Saturday night stating the berries had been delivered.

When I didn't hear from the recipient of the berries by last night (Sunday), I called her. She said she was home all day on Saturday & had not received any deliveries of any kind. So, not only have the berries STILL not been delivered, there is no surprise left even if the berries were to show up now. But I don't expect that to happen.

The customer service agents I spoke to on the phone & corresponded with via email after a post I made on Twitter about the epic fail were all inept to say the least. The only thing they know how to do is read their script & reply with canned answers. There was not one empathetic agent or independent thinker among the many that I corresponded with. They stayed on script & that was it. What a joke!

At this point in time, I will never order form Shari's Berries again & urge everyone to stay away from them. Read all the negative reviews on here & everywhere else. Spend your money elsewhere - somewhere you can speak to the business owner & know that they care. You won't get that with Shari's Berries. Stay away from Shari's Berries. The only thing they deliver is disappointment. #stayawayfromsharisberries

Worst company to order from

"My bf ordered me roses with the strawberries and they delivered it not only to the wrong delivery address but the day after my bday and they only delivered strawberries not the roses my bag paid for this place is a joke if you want to do right by me redeliver the correct order that was paid for instead of robbing my pocket "

Don’t do it

"I would give them negative stars if possible. This company is a joke. Don’t do it. It’s a trap. Unless you like throwing money away and not giving spoiled Mother’s Day gifts to your loved ones. I ordered one dozen chocolate covered strawberries on the 7 days before Mother's Day. They were set to arrive the day prior to Mother's Day. They ended up arriving the Monday after Mother's Day covered in mold and baking hot. The chocolate was all over the inside of the box and this came along with the most unpleasant smell. After spending time over the phone with their customer service throughout multiple phone calls, they will not issue me a refund. They have the worst customer service team that I'm almost certain is outsourced. It is almost impossible to understand what they are saying when they aren't stuttering. They do not even want to help. It's pathetic. Almost a hundred dollars down the drain. I just wish there were more places to leave reviews of this place."
