"What a nightmare...I ordered the camera back in 28 August but no order confirmation was emailed. Then I get a phone call 3nd of September. They told me that the camera didn't come with battery but they will gladly include it for $99.00. I agreed since it was about the same as what I researched and the order was already placed. They charged my credit card the same day I spoke to them and told me it would be shipped the following day, 4th Sept. I didn't hear from them again until the 17th September when I received an email saying that my order has shipped. I finally signed for my camera on the 21st of September...that was almost a whole month. I didn't realize they charged my card $40.00 more than what I agreed to so I called them then they put me on hold for about 50 minutes before someone answered. I asked why the description on my statement is not what I agreed upon and why I was charged $20.00 shipping when it's supposed to be free shipping. He said the extra charge was for shipping insurance and taxes. I asked him other questions and the guy became rude over the phone and told me that I should have read the policy online before I placed my order. He said if I was not happy with it then I can return it; then he reminded me about the 15% restocking fee if I decide to do a return. Don't take my word for it and don't make the same mistake and fall into their trap. Please read their return and other policies first before placing your order...they will not voluntarily tell you. This company is a scam, unreliable and no honor. I do a lot of ordering online and I would not go back to their site nor recommend them to anyone. They will get the money you thought you were saving thru other charges. Also, the camera I bought looks refurbished and was missing a manual."

"I have ordered Nikon Coolpix L820 camera online from www.bestpricephoto.com on September 15, 2013. Normally I am very cautious with my selections and I spent a lot of time choosing this particular camera model. But I failed to check the seller reviews. After all, their price was the lowest by a wide margin. What can possibly be wrong with this company?

The next day I received an email from this company, stating that they tried to reach me on a phone but were unable to do that. They invited me to cal their number with extension 509 “to insure your order ships in a timely manner”. I called and was offered some free gift in exchange of leaving them a good review ahead of time. I refused and the conversation was over.

The camera was received on September 28 (shipping from Brooklyn, NY to York, PA took only 1 day). I had to drive 25 miles to a FedEx location since the seller requested a signature and nobody was home to sign for it. But that is OK – security is a good thing. So I brought the package home and opened it. Inside I have found a white cardboard box with one label, showing the camera model and saying it is a USA Retail kit and Color: Black. Upon inspection I have found that camera strap is missing one of the rectangular plastic retainers and lens cap cord is missing too. Everything else appeared to be in place, but the box content was not organized and was not secured properly as you would expect to see in such products. My conclusion – I received a remanufactured or gray market camera, although it was advertised as new. If I wanted a remanufactured camera, I could get it much cheaper from a reputable seller. Quick functionality check showed that camera is operational, but this is not what I wanted to buy. I wanted a new camera made by Nikon with all the accessories coming with it in a factory box.

I made multiple attempts to call the company, but nobody was picking up the phone. So on October 1 I sent them an email, demanding an explanation and the missing parts. I did not get any reply to that email. Only after that I have learned that this company is not a legitimate one and it has numerous complaints from the customers. Its Better Business Bureau rating is D (one of the worst possible). Knowing that ahead of time I would not buy anything from them even for free. I have learned my lesson. Hopefully whoever reads this review will not make the same mistake I did.

0) all the decent reviews are a result of incentives offered to customers...if they want the product shipped

1) they will not ship your order until "they confirm your address via a phone call" which means it could be days until u speak with them.

2) They will up-sell you ( main reason for call) by lying about battery/lens or something else of that nature (lies are easily caught if you do any research on the product)

3) Easy to get hold off when they want to up-sell but you will be put on hold for 45 mins or more if you like to get status on your order

4) they will not email you a tracking number or provide any update on your product.. even weeks after order was placed."
