"Edited to add: FINALLY! I am very happy to say my much awaited camera purchase has arrived. I am absolutely thrilled with the camera BPP sent me when the one I ordered was not immediately available. BestPricePhoto has some definite issues with delivery of product, but being patient and consistently calling customer service worked! They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase.
There are plenty of negative reviews posted recently, but don't be discouraged, they are willing to please the customer.

"On July 16 2013 I ordered a red color camera for Best Price Photo online for the total of 189.99...It was supposed to arrive 7-10 days but never did
On Aug 1 I called to inquire about the delayed shipment and was told they have been trying to contact me by email since the color advertised and sold to me was not in stock. I checked my email and spam?.they never contacted me, I would like to see a proof
Anyways, I told the rep that the camera is a gift and I need it within by Aug 15, he promised to get it to me no later then 10d he also recommended I get a memory card and batteries under 100 dollars at a "DISCOUNT" as compensation for the delay and the black instead of red color camera I originally ordered.
When I checked the CC statement I noticed a 200 dollars extra charge total 399 dollars (instead of under 100 for memory card and batteries). I contacted them and asked the charges to be itemized and that I also noticed a charge for a warranty I never asked for . The rep told me its a "package deal" that I ordered and all included hence the one non itemized charge, a total lie.I figured i will just return the extra and keep the camera
Aug 15th the package never arrived, called again to cancel all togther but he said it was already on its way and will arrive in few days, thus cant cancel (will need to return)
Aug 27: never arrived! It has been 6 week from original order, nearly a month since it was shipped and 3weeks from the shipped due arrival.
I had to order the camera from a different merchant
The guys at best price photo are at best disorganized and confused or otherwise dishonest, I dont know what kind of operation/scam they are running, but had enough of them. They keep you on the line waiting for ever and then just make up something (lie).

ordered a camera on a Friday August 16th. They called me on a Monday 19th to confirm tried to up sell. got an email that same day that my order has been processed and that it will be shipped within 48 hours.
Week later no tracking or any other info. Called 8/26 again and said that I should be getting an email that day about tracking info. no email was delivered.
Called again on Tuesday 8/27 they said that 100 emails should have gone through but not all went through it would go out that day now it's been 12 days since I put in the order. He doubled checked and said he saw that it was shipped and it showed that I would get camera on Friday 8/30. Expect email confirming tracking.
Wednesday 8/28 no email yet called again and got the worst customer experience in my life this person told me it will be two more weeks before you get your camera. I said wait a minute I been told twice that it was going to be this week and no later then friday. He said no they told you two more weeks. No they didn't. So now his calling me a lier. we went back and forth then he just hanged up on me in the middle of my sentence. plus every time I called it took over 20 minutes being on hold.... Really wish I didn't buy from this people worst experience of my life buying online....

This is a follow up well that same day 8/28 I send them an email told them how disappointed I was and informed them of everything that happened got a response and told me it takes 10 to 12 days for me to receive package that for sure I would get it no later then September 5th. Ok now they are changing from their original email of 7-9 days to 10-12 days
I waited this long so I figured what's one more week.
Guess what happened September 5th came and went and no camera and because it was a holiday on Monday 9/2 they decided they where going to be closed from Wednesday to Saturday of that week.
It's now September 10 and still no camera or tracking number will have to fight now to get my money back!!!! Original order was placed August 16th now it's September 10th and still nothing from them plus they say you can't get your money back just yet!!!! until you receive camera and send it back!!!! once it's send back they have to get it and they want to charge you restocking charges what!!!! When is that next year!!!!

"THE WORST EVER!!!
I ordered on or about 6/23/13 and my credit card was charged on 6/27/13 for $498.99. When I found out that they weren't sending me the camera as packaged from Canon, I called and cancelled before shipment.
I've been given numerous dates for my refund and have not received credit as of today (8/19/13. Actually I believe they just intend to steal the money from me.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I'm on hold right now with their Customer Service Dept. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes. I've called several times and when someone answers, the first thing I ask is not to be transferred until they hear what my problem is. As soon as I start talking they transfer me to eternal hold.
I reordered the same thing from another online retailer the day I cancelled this order. I received it from them within 5 days, in the factory package from Canon for only a few dollars more. Also from that retailer it had the Canon brand battery in the original package. Best Price charged me extra for a Canon battery. That's when I discovered that they weren't going to send it as packaged from Canon, so I cancelled.
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST PRICE PHOTO (BETTER KNOWN AS 'RIP OFF CITY')
While writing this review I'm not on hold anymore. They HUNG UP.
P.S. I have contacted the New York Attorney General's office and will file a formal complaint on 9/23/13 if I haven't received my refund. I tried to tell them this on the phone, but before I finished, they placed me on eternal hold."
