CameraClub.com I ordered a TECHNICS SA-DA10N receiver. Although you get e-mail about your order immediately you may never hear from them again. I called a week later they said it would be shipped out in 5 working days. I called after a week, to cancel the order, but they said they would ship it out free shipping the next day and I would have a tracking number the next day. No number, cancelled the order the following day. This did not stop them from charging the credit card on 5/14/2002. They never shipped a receiver and I am now trying to get my money back. Does anyone regulate this stuff. Or is it legal to take money in New York from us hicks out west. Credited my credit card a month later."
"Ordered online a Canon Digital Elph S200 on Monday morning. Got an email that afternoon saying to call customer service to confirm the order. They gave a sales pitch on buying some accessories. I said no a couple of times. The item shipped on Tuesday and they sent me a Fedex tracking number by email. I got the S200 on Thursday in good condition.
Overall, pleased with the transaction. Though I wish they would either send an email invoice or be able to log in and see previous orders. Otherwise, great pricing and I got what I ordered very quickly.

Received the conformation call with the usual question about accessories (no pressure) and was told that the because it was Memorial Day weekend the camcorder would not be sent until Tuesday. I received an email notice that the camcorder had been shipped Friday (great)and received it on Tuesday (even better). I will be back! "
"Do not purchase from this company. They use a bait-and-switch pricing tactic that may be illegal and is certainly unethical.
This company charged my credit card $20 more for shipping than the amount shown on its final "confirm payment screen. When I called to complain I was told that there is a disclaimer on the web site that says they may charge more for shipping than the amount that the purchaser confirms for credit card payment. They told me it was my fault for not reading this discalimer. I have looked for the disclaimer and also for a statement on shipping policy and haven't been able to find them. I'm sure they are there since this is obviously a deliberate tactic that was reviewed by the company's legal counsel, but I believe that it is deliberately hidden from the purchaser.
I was told I could refuse shipment - but of course they would keep the inflated shipping charge.
I have purchased many items from many vendors on the Web and have never encountered this tactic before. I thought I was a savvy consumer, but these guys got me. Consider yourself warned!"
"I ordered a Canon G2 digital camera from them. They called to confirm and offer some extra accessories (with no pressure to buy). My order went through. Everything came as expected. Overall a good experience and I would buy from them again."

I sent them a final email and im now going to seek legal actions.
My credit card was billed a month ago which means yes i already payed the bill. so theres 60 bux for something that for all i know doesnt exsist.

I ordered a plug for my song digital camera on april 29th. My credit card was also billed on this date. BEFORE SHIPMENT !!
I waited 15 days before getting worried. and have now been on hold for a total of 4 hours over the last 2 days, i have yet to get ahold of anyone at the store by phone. my attempts to contact someone by email have failed and yes the 60 dollar charge is still on my credit card.
So word to the wise STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY !!!!"
"Wow -- amazing!! A NYC/Brooklyn online retailer who actually: 1. Has the listed item in stock at the listed price; 2. Doesn't pressure-sell overpriced accessories; 3. Sends tracking info; 4. Responds to follow-up emails. I'm floored -- these guys at IBuyDigital are great. After being backordered w/another company for 6 weeks, I placed my online order for a Sony DCR-TRV340 D8 camcorder on Monday morning. Got the expected call from John (x565) within an hour; told me item was in stock, would ship by Wed, and "oh, by the way, do you need anything else, like . . ." All it took was "no thanks" and we were done. Surprise: email from FedEx came Mon night - my order was already in transit (paid for 2 day delivery.) Item arrived across the country on Wed. Camera and accessories new, USA product, in Sony-sealed box. VERY minor issue was UPC sticker removed from box, but an email to Cust Svc got a response they will mail me one. Overall, I'm a very happy camper, will shop them again, and recommend others give them a try."
