"Cycle gear is a great store. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. For the money the bilt brand is usually a pretty good deal. My only issue would be the Helmets. They seem subpar to me compared to others in the same price range. Tried a few and they all had the same problem. Very loud and too many cheaper materials used. Clothing is fine, just couldn't use the helmets."

"The store clerk why trying to upsell me on helmets. I was there for a specific helmet I saw in the sales page I got in the mail. When I informed him I did not want to spend that much money on a helmet his customer service ended. I finally found the helmet but the price tag said $200. The sale ad had it listed for $80. I asked him why the helmet was priced so high and he said "I guess because they can." Then I mentioned to him the sale ad had the helmet for cheaper he had to look it up. I then asked again "So if I buy this one it will be $80" to which he replied "yeah I guess." Then we were left alone to find the helmet in my size. There was no organization at all! Why wouldnt you put them out in some sort of order?! The clerk came back and helped us find it in my size. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted couldnt find it had to argue over price. What should have taken 5 minutes ended up taking forever "

"I went in bought my son all new gear as he is a new rider and get home and all the security tags are still on the items i bought. So i go up there the next day after my son is upset because he couldnt ride the day before and i asked them what are they going to compensate me with as its a 45 minute drive from my house to there shop and now i had to make that trip 4 times at about 25 dollars a trip bc gas is not free so now im out 50 dollars for something that they shouldve done write the first time but didnt and when i asked for something in return for wasting my time money and my sons time they said they couldnt do anything for me... now im in a business myself and if i mess up on my customers order i make it right by any means necessary they would not accommodate me in any way so i walked out and will never go back there again. I shouldve returned everything we bought but then i would have had an even more upset 7 year old that all he wanted was to ride"
