"The fact that this store had Dainese gear was a huge plus! Compared to other Cycle Gear locations (Pleasanton, CA), this one is bigger and has a good selection of gear and equipment.
The one thing that I found odd was that there was only 1 cashier and nobody else on the floor to help customers. I went in there because I wanted to buy riding boots and jacket for a long trip, but because there wasn't anyone who could help, I ended up not buying the boots. I also settled for a jacket which after wearing at home, I found to be smaller which I ended up returning at the Pleasanton location.
These are the kind of things salespeople can help customers on the floor. I could have walked out with boots and jacket I would be satisfied with, but ended up not having either and the store losing business."
"Called ahead to time for parts help. Cycle Gear researched for the parts needed and had them on the counter upon our arrival. Great service!
When I realized that I left the nuts on the old battery for recycling, I brought the newly purchased battery back to Cycle Gear, and the staff immediately went to the stock room and returned with the correct sized nuts, no questions asked!!

"We went in to look for a helmet for a friend. We're experienced motorcyclists and knew what we wanted. The salesperson was very aggressive and spoke to us like we were complete newbies. It was obvious that he needed the sale and was persistent. We just wanted to shop in peace.
At the end of the day, their prices were quite a bit higher than e-retailers and it's understandable to charge a premium, but as a consumer why would you pay a 10% premium when you can get it online with free shipping? I can understand if they at least tried to come closer to price matching, but when you refuse outright, you're essentially burying your business and this rigid cost structure will be your downfall.
I love their freeze out gear, but other than that, I will not be returning to this particular store and will continue to shop online or try the rwc location"
"One-stop-shop doesn't even begin to describe what they have going on here. Legitimately every single person in that store is extremely knowledgeable and eager to help. I've only started shopping at this store within the last year because I started riding in April of 2016, but I will never shop anywhere else for motorcycle needs. Staff is super friendly and welcoming to even the newest riders. That, coupled with their superb knowledge of everything related to gear and best-practices equates to me spending a LOT of time and money here. I will literally swing by just to say hey, grab some new stuff, and get out on my bike. If I can give the entire staff collectively, that's what I'm trying to do because they're all awesome people and a great overall sales team. Specifically regarding my Bilt Techno 2.0 purchase, it came highly recommended from the staff with a solid warranty, they helped me sync my phone and gave me a quick rundown of intercom pairing, and even helped me troubleshoot why my helmet's battery wasn't charging (no worries though, they got it working again!). 15 out of 10, highly recommend!"
