"Bought a new battery for my bike and it had to be ordered. Was supposed to arrive in a few days but it took a week. The battery that arrived was not the correct one. They contacted another Cycle Gear store 30 minutes away and arranged for them to transfer the correct battery. Another week goes by with me checking in a few times and still no battery. So the last time I call I get Angelo at the San Jose store. He says he will call me back. A few hours later he calls back and says he has the battery. I learned that the other store never transferred the battery. Angelo drove in heavy rush hour traffic to the other store, picked up the battery and back through rush hour traffic to provide a happy ending to what had been an unpleasant customer experience."

"I went in looking for gloves that were in an email you sent to me. They were impossible to find so I asked someone at the counter who then told me instead of showing me where they were. Gloves are on tons of racks and organized by brand so trying to find breathable hot weather gloves was like trying to a needle in a haystack. At no point did anyone ask if I needed or wanted help. In general the staff is young and unhelpful, but polite at least. Store is super packed in but I guess that allows you to carry more options. But maybe it’d be good to narrow down the in store options so that people have a better shopping experience? "
