"I tried to sell my cell phone to Decluttr. They offered me $50 for the phone. I mailed it to them and they claimed the camera did not work and would only give me $5. I send no and had them mail it back. Camera worked fine. I sold it to a different company for $40 and they also found no issue with the phone.
Maybe it was a mistake. But my cynical side suspects they do this on purpose to get used products at low prices. People think maybe their item got damaged in shipment and take the lower price to just be done with it. "
