"I purchased a tile-ready shelf insert for a shower from eComfort.com. After entering my address in Canada, the order calculated my shipping and I paid. I then received a notice a day or so later that my order was on hold, and that I had to pay extra shipping to Canada. I found this annoying, since my order was now delayed, and it should have calculated the correct amount front the start. I paid that immediately on June 4, and as of today, June 25 I still have not received the item. I called, and they said they hadn't credited my account for the extra shipping charges although they confirmed they had received the funds. Okay, so screw-ups happen. I asked that since I had waited so long, and was needing the item NOW (which is why I ordered it back THEN) if they'd ship it to me quicker. I told them I don't need it over night, but quicker than driving it across the country would be sufficient. They refused. As it is I've paid $25 for shipping, so I would have expected that for their screw-up, they could have at least met me half way. Although the service clerk on the phone was very nice and helpful, her supervisor doesn't know anything about customer service. I will never do business with ecomfort.com again."
