"I had a 24x21 garage built by Eagle Carports recently. This building appears solid and I have had no issues. The concrete pad I had this built on had some issues but they were able to work with it and still get the building up with no issues. It looks great and I am very happy with it!
I wanted to write this review because I searched for reviews after I ordered the building and got worried after seeing the negative reviews. The build went fine so I have had no need to contact them for customer support so cant comment on that , but I can say that I am definitely happy with the result and with the Hispanic builders who came and did this work. Those guys worked their butts off in very hot weather and did a great job.
Also, I did not buy this direct from Eagle, I went through a seller locally who resells for them. I wanted someone to contact locally if I had any issues, but I have had no need to contact him.
My building specs are vertical roof style (this cost more than the others), 24x21, fully enclosed with 2 garage doors, 2 windows, and one side door. No issues at all."
"There service at eGLE CARPORTS WAS GOOD UNTIL I DECIDED A MONTH LATER TO CALL THEM BACK TO HELP ME EXTEND MY SHED. THE LADY WAS UN-FRIENDLY AND TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT HELP EXTEND MY SHED. SO THANKS EAGLE CARPORTS FOR YOUR HELP. I WILL NEVER BY ANOTHER ONE FROM THEM OR TELL ANYONE ABOUT THEM. IT WILL NOT BE GOOD."
"I have no idea about the quality of the product because the customer service was horrible. After ordering two 18'x21' carports, I was told it would be two to four weeks for delivery and setup. Six weeks went by and I didn't hear anything. I checked with the retailer, who checked with the company, and was told the installer was having car problems. Another week went by, and I heard nothing. Calling again, it turned out the installer was having to put a new motor in his truck, it'd be another week. After seven days, the company finally called ME (the first time they initiated the call) and said they were having to change suppliers. Nine weeks after I ordered, the installer showed up at my home, thirty minutes from work, and called eight times in half an hour while I was in a business meeting. I left and went home, but they had left already. I called the home office, but was offered no incentive to not cancel my order. Enough was enough."
"After reading through the plethora of negative reviews online I am both comforted (misery loves company) and relieved that I did not go further with this company. They failed to show up to install the carport at the agreed-upon time. When I tried to reschedule they wanted to charge me a $150 “restock fee”. They said they will only waive the re-stock fee if THEY decide to reschedule, for instance weather, traffic or an “act of GOD”. (I guess and “act of GREED” doesn’t qualify.) NO THANK YOU. I guess they have my name on their blacklist because I was told that even if I cancel and re-order at a later date I will have to pay the fee. Why would I pay an extra $150 when I could order a comparable product from another company? I think that if the President of the company knew about some of the shenanigans of the customer service folks and the installers he would not be happy. I’ve re-ordered a comparable product from https://www.carport.com/"
"Eagle Carports put up a carport for me. It had a 30 day warranty. After 37 days it rained and the carport leaked. I called 10 or 15 times, each time getting put off or directed to someone else who never answered. Eventually I spoke with the head of repairs who thought since it didn't rain for more than 30 days I still had a legitimate claim, and said he'd get someone out to fix it. Several calls from me later he said the general manager said no, they wouldn't fix it. Told me I should have checked for leaks with a water hose. Eagle carport builds leaky carports and any complaint after 30 days is not addressed by the company."
