The communication is nothing but excuses. I saw the bad reviews and thought it couldn't happen to me. You've been warned, don't do it. Book directly with a rental company."

Despite purchasing additional insurance and reporting the damage I experienced, they have not refunded me for weeks. "I booked a car for £43.66 and in the end it cost me £234. I have tried to contact them and found they are in Latvia and difficult to get in touch with. The actual car hire company at Stansted Drivalia are the same. The staff there lied to me and I was forced to pay this extortion amount or be left stranded. They are not trading under the same name as the company who took the money. Easyrent on bank statement. Scammers. Beware of this company. "
"Booked car hire from within Canada, for use within Canada, priced on website and Invoice in CAD, but charge to Visa was in USD. Currency conversion added additional cost.
First contact to Customer Services they said I was charged correct amount in CAD (not true) and I should contact my bank. I emailed again to point out out the charge was in USD and they just emailed and updated Invoice in USD and quoted their Terms & Conditions.
Buried in their Terms & Conditions says they only charge in USD, GPB, EUR, but that is NOT indicated on the website or booking process (CAD is select-able). That would be OK if it equals the same total. Unnecessarily misleading.
If doing business within Canada then charge correctly in CAD."
"I booked a car with a low rate and when I got to the place (America Car Rental) the price did not include an “obligatory” ensurance rate of 500 usd and a 12 k usd deposit (this is totally nuts) so we decided to not rent the car and lost $60 usd of the original booking "

And I also now can't cancel and get a refund because the "free cancellation" mentioned actually cost £30 included in these hidden charges!!! "Addcar are the worst, crap cars, pushing for extra, extra insurance. I would not recommend them to anyone. The car was dirty, would not pass a UK MOT, it was technically unsafe, DPF was in fault, the handling was worrying, the list of issues was long.
