"I had a bad experience. Fumfie Customer Support has worked to resolve the issue. The whole situation ended up with me wasting about six hours to return a grey market camera to a licensed retailer who is not a Canon authorized reseller.
I ordered a Canon 5D Mark II on 28 January 2010 after verifying over the phone that the camera was New in the unopened box, a USA model, not greymarket, and Fumfie was an authorized Canon reseller.
The box had previously been opened, though the camera appeared to be new. The package did not include a bill of sale or receipt in any form. It also was absent any form of warranty card.
Canon USA (1-***-***-****) informed me that they do not find any information indicating fumfie.com( fumfie.com, JerseyPhotoStore, jerseyphotostore.com, jerseyphoto.com, thefotosource.com or fumfie ) are a licensed Dealer or reseller of their products under any of those names. They also informed me that they consider the camera I bought Greymarket and would not warrant the camera.
I called Fumfie. Their Customer Service Rep told me that even though Canon USA says they will not warrant the camera they are confident the camera is warranted. He did admit they knew the camera shipped without a warranty card. He also offered to have me ship the camera back for a refund. I found that to be the best option.
They also tried to sell me a flash card worth $20 for an additional $199. But there was no pressure to buy. They also offered a third party warranty at a premium price, again with no pressure.

" I had a great experience with Fumfie. I was sceptical after reading a number of online blogs, but after talking to one of their sales reps, I decided to go for it and place an order on a digital camcorder. I frankly was unable to afford the higher competitors price. Because the price was considerably lower than the price of the mainstream online retailers, I decided to purchase an accessory and a warranty which I was going to need anyway. This seemed like a reasonable way to compromise the lower cost of the camera, and hopefully make both of us happy. I mentioned this rationale to the sales person who assured me that they'd honor the sale and ship the camera whether I purchased additional items or not. While these add-ons may have cost more than the going price elsewhere, I still came out WELL below the competitors price for the bundle. Most importantly, I never received a follow-up pressure pitch from the salesmen - my camera arrived exactly on time, and a follow-up call to the customer service rep regarding an error in the extended warranty was handled quickly and cordially.
I never take the time to do these rating things, but after reading some of the negatives about this company, and after having such a positive experience with them myself, I decide to do a rating. By the way, I was never able to receive confirmation emails from them (spamblockers etc??) but with a call to the customer service rep, Joe directed me to their website where I was able to download all the receipt and confirmation info that I needed. "Even though Fumfie had great reviews, I was a little leery, since the price for my Canon HFS10 camcorder was hundreds of dollars less than the better known sites. There is a reason this store has good reviews, they are the real deal. Great prices, fast shipping, and helpful sales people.
They will ask you if you want to add some upgrades but they don't pressure you if you say no. I'm glad I decided to go with an extra battery since the one that comes with the camera only lasts 40 minutes. I got a great price on an extra 4 hour battery.
After receiving the camera, I noticed that they offered it for $20 less on their web site. I called and asked if they would price match their own store. Customer service explained that the price they paid for my camera was $20 more and that their new shipment was purchased at a lower price. In other words, they don't price match. However, he offered to send me other free products instead of a refund. Both batteries I have need to be charged in the camera so the camera is not usable while charging. I got an external charger shipped for free plus a free full size tripod!
I'm sold! I will always use Fumfie for every photo related product I need.

"Fumfie: another attempt at luring customers in with cheap electronics prices and then attempting to gouge them on accessories. In the end, fumfie is a fairly honest company.
I placed an order for a Canon 7D through fumfie on 12-22-09 after reading several positive internet reviews on respected reviewing sites. There were also various reviews stating that Fumfie is a scam. Backed by a no-hassles credit card fraud protection program, I decided to find out for myself.
In the end, it turns out that Fumfie is attempting to do what all the other scamming camera shops do: sell you overpriced accessories and force shipping insurance on you in order to make up for the advertised cheaper camera body.
After "placing" the order -- a Canon 7D listed at $100 less than any reputable shop -- I did not receive an email confirming the order. I called fumfie the next day and was put on hold 3 times before finally speaking to someone who "found my order" (I had no order number, they simply pulled up my order through my name).
I was told the camera would ship instantly and that I would be charged 4% shipping insurance (this is not listed on the website). This extraneous charge brought the camera to $1575.46 ($25 less than MSRP). I was then given a bunch of b.s. about extra batteries, lenses, and extended warranties, politely turning down each overpriced "offer". While on the phone, I was emailed a shipping invoice that contained an order number, but no tracking number.
Later that day I was sent an email with the tracking number. The package arrived on jan 5th, one day late. I am pleased with the camera. "
