"I sent our Hotpoint (I think) dishwasher's electronic control board to Genuine Appliance Parts (their name seems to vary) and they sent an e-mail confirming that they'd received it and would be sending it to their lab for repair. This is an important step, at least if you're a worrier like I am.
Now, I sent it on December 24, which sort of runs into holiday season, but they sent back the repaired board (it's been discontinued) around January 2, and it works splendidly. Price about $100, which is quite reasonable for good work and good service.
