"Tried to use it for legit medical services abroad, in a cheap country, so that my refund would be less than the cost of insurance, and they refuse to pay on the excuse that the itemization for services provided is not standardized. An insurance that promises to work anywhere should know that multiple administrations abroad will have different standards in reporting expenses. But this is a very convenient excuse not to pay my refund. So, another insurance that only walks with your money. Will never use again."
"The reason for the less than five star score is simply that I never needed to use the service. We have been ordering insurance for the last couple of trips abroad as an added layer of safety and precaution but, the experience ordering and initializing the insurance is a little clunky. I would really to see GeoBlue make it easier for returning customers to re-order a previous plan or provide some repeat customer messaging.

"I purchased a policy for a week long trip to London. While there my foot became very painful. I called GeoBlue 800 number to find out what I needed to do to see a Dr. I found a Dr but because of Easter weekend and pending departure, I had to do a telephone consultation. The GeoBlue customer service person told me to file a claim (didn't mention a letter of guarantee). Upon return I filed a claim - denied because of no invoice. I obtained an invoice and submitted it. Was just notified the claim was denied because there is no diagnosis. There is no hint on how to supply the Dr report. My experience is one of frustration, unclear instructions, and wrong instructions with seemingly no hope for getting this resolved. I expected a quality product from a reputable insurer. Not what I'm getting. I recommend you look elsewhere for your travel medical insurance. Even though I had a legitimate medical problem and followed their procedures, they are masters at finding lame excuses to deny my claim. My next step is to find out how to file a regulatory complaint."
