"This story is pending with the chance that iboat will do the right thing! I ordered a number of very large fender covers, each about $150. They invoice and shipping emails showed the proper item #'s BUT iboat's warehouse put a different item in the box by mistake. The size they put in to ship was too small. BUT SINCE I DIDN'T CATCH THEIR MISTAKE WITHIN 30 DAYS, I AM STUCK PAYING FOR THE ITEMS THEY MISTAKENLY SHIPPED. How does that work. They make a mistake, I pay them and then it is my responsibility to find their mistake before the 30 day clock runs out. This is crazy, very hostile to customers and honestly, shamefully wrong! Perhaps they will fix their mistake and exchange the fender covers for the right size, but as of now, it is my problem because I didn't catch THEIR mistake in a timely fashion. If you choose to do business with iboats, please be aware of there approach of doing business."
"I ordered a rotor with brake caliper and got sent bearings instead. They would not honor the original order and have not refunded me. Super unorganized and I would never recommend iboats. They will waste your time and take your money. "
"I own a boat rental company in Branson Mo. We needed a prop for one of our pontoon boats.
We ordered the prop from iboat....WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!!
First, they sent the prop to the wrong customer in the wrong state. Once I told them they traced it and confirmed they messed up. Then they told me they would overnight the prop to me knowing I am losing $450 EVERY DAY the pontoon can’t be rented out. So far the $135 prop has cost me about $3,600! And I still don’t have the prop.
They don’t care and they lied to me. "
"After a boat cover, which was properly posted, leaked in several rain storms, I asked Iboats for a return or replacement. They flat out said no, and multiple messages since have not been returned. Warning: They don’t back their products or care about customers. My next stop: Better Business Bureau or consumer law attorney. "
"Ordered a 21 pound slide anchor but what I got was an empty box that had been torn open on the side with nothing in the box but a balled up empty clear plastic bag. The plastic bag packaging had obviously been balled up and put back in the box after the anchor and cloth anchor storage bag were removed and the torn open box had been put back together to look like it had not been tampered with. There is no doubt the package contents were stolen, not simply lost due to shipping damage. I watched UPS deliver the box on Ring and went to the door and picked it up immediately so I know it was NOT stolen after delivery. It had to be either iboats or UPS employees.
Held for 37 minutes on the phone before getting a representative. After about 30 seconds of discussion placed back on hold. Held again for another 12 minutes. After another 30 seconds of conversation about a refund I'm placed back on hold. Finally the rep came back and claimed they would have to go through a dispute process before issuing a refund. This took a total of 55 minutes just to find out they aren't going to do anything about it. Luckily I paid through Paypal and I've filed a claim with them as well as through UPS.
I recommend you purchase your products somewhere else."

"6/2/20, ordered an "IN STOCK" propeller, got confirmation with a shipping date of 6/4/20, and arrival date of 6/11/20. Checked the order on 6/8/20, and it still hadn't shipped. Sent several e-mails, finally on 6/15/20 I received a reply saying the part was back ordered and would be shipped in a few days. What BS, told them to cancel the order, we'll see if that happens. If you need your parts in a timely manner do not do business with this company, "
"I purchased some deck paint and thinner from their online site. The boxes hadn't been opened when my estranged husband took the project boat. I asked for a refund, which they did give me the full amount of the product $136.90, minus their shipping cost of $12.63.
My issue was trying to follow their "simple and timely" instructions, required to return the products, or the warranty would be void.
To do this I had to use FedEx or UPS and send the tracking number, have their boxes placed into a new, larger box, so none of the original shipping labels were covered or written on. The state I received it from, per label, was Utah. The return requirement was to send to Connecticut, which greatly added to the shipping cost as I am in Oregon. I also recieved to different emails with return authorization numbers, that were required (but could not be written on their boxes).
I used one hoping it would be correct. So I did get my refund, so to speak but more than 50% of it went to returning the items. They charged me less than $13 to ship to me and their requirements cost me almost $70.
I called their rep when I got the return instructions asking how I can place a new shipping label and tracking number on the original boxes, without having UPS scan the wrong one. Her only response was, "yes they can, they know what to do". I basically threw away about $70 by dealing with this company. They have not responded to my emails regarding the extreme shipping costs, simply because of their return requirements.
This company cannot be trusted. They may state they take returns but you'll REALLY pay for it!"
"What a POS company!!! I have a repair business and have ordered parts thru this company. Three of three times now this company cancelled my order a week after I placed it. They said they had it in stock and guaranteed the part to arrive in a week........The day it to arrive, I get an email they cancelled it for no reason. This has caused boats to sit on my lot and not getting completed as promised, two of which had to cancel their vacations. What a joke of a company!!!!!!!!!!! I will tell every business I know of this and all my customers to avoid this POS company, what a joke! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!"

I was on hold 18 minutes and disconnected. I called back on hold 10 minutes and talk to “ SKY” she explained they were only two agents answering phones and they were very busy with other customers and that was the reason for my extended wait she also explained that their computers in the shipping department were down and that they were days behind in shipping notification
I canceled my order

"I thought I might some satisfaction after being ripped off, but the number of bad reviews tells me it won't faze Iboats. Anyway, I ordered a replacement bimini top for my pontoon boat. Received the top, quality material, well sewn. It had no zippers. I've been boating for 30 years, never received one with no zippers
I'd have to completely disassemble the frame down to the last screw on order to fit it on. CS lady says it is a custom job and they don't come with zippers, when their subcontract company (Carver) clearly states they do come with zippers. Luckily I have the skill and machine to install zippers, so I'm not completely out of the $278.00 they stole."
"I ordered a part that came incomplete. I submitted a ticket with pictures ([YTG-28748]) and called customer service. They seemed very helpful but nothing happened, no part and it is now approximately three weeks since I ordered the part. I contacted them on 8/31/2018 to inquire on my part, was immediately disconnected. Called again, I was told they need a picture, really!! What about the ticket with the picture? Why did not one call or send an email to me asking for a picture. Why did they not process the ticket? Still sitting on the phone awaiting a response for a response on when will I get my complete part. Hopefully I will be able to update this post if I finally get a response and my part. As of now DO NOT USE THIS SITE."
