"My old 5S battery had expanded to the point that the phone was self disassembling (front was force off the case). So I ordered your 5S battery and the toolkit. Everything was exactly what I needed. I also watched your iPhone 5S battery replacement video. I have experience in electronics (>30 years engineering, design, assembly) so some of this is straightforward for me, but seeing the procedure is very helpful in advance. The technique to remove the adhesive below the battery was helpful - one piece of tape broke, but I used the tweezers to grab a stub, and continued - made a nice groaning noise. Only issue I had (my fault) was in applying the new adhesive - I didn't get it quite aligned, and I learned you only get one shot at this, so I had to trim away (razor knife) the bunched up bit. No big deal, lost about an inch on one piece.
Everything else worked just fine, phone is back together and all is good. BTW - the little toolkit was very helpful - I have all the tools, but having everything right there (and the spare replacement Philips screws - excellent! Thanks!) made this super easy for me, and for only a few dollars more. Someday I will need a new smart phone, but for now I figured I saved ~$500 to $1k, and kept some electronics from the recycling/dump. (Not to mention the hassle of restoring all the apps, music, etc...)

"iFixit had the tools and parts necessary to repair the broken headphone jack on my Samsung Galaxy S5. My only regret is that I watched a YouTube tutorial on how to replace the jack rather than reading the iFixit tutorial - which did not warn about separating the button adhesive from the screen without tearing it! I ended up tearing that and needing to replace the charging port assembly as well. In the end, I managed to replace both the headphone jack and the charging port to have the phone working like new again thanks to iFixit tutorials and support staff! Super happy with the experience, so I purchased a new battery from iFixit as well!"
