"The tools that I bought from iFixIt arrived super fast and helped me fix my 27" iMac myself without destroying it. Saved $600 by doing it myself instead of paying the Apple Store to do it for me. Couldn't be happier."
"this is an amazing tool. i was able to swap out the motherboard to my gopro 3 plus. thank you so much."
"Removing the parts was fairly easy, I used the regular suction cup and spudger to remove the screen. I also used a hair drier to heat the back of the phone to soften the tape. The first tape came right off but the inside tape broke about 1/4 the way up and I had to pry up the battery and use the spudger from the bottom and push it up along the tape carefully as I pried up and it released. The only difficult part putting back together was getting this connectors at the top back in, I had to use my finger to feel them so I could feel them pop into place. They really don’t show any detail for that. There are 3 ribbons there to plug in. Lastly the touch sensor ribbon is a bit hard, you can’t use a finger since there isn’t room, you have to use the spudger, at least for my fingers. Then trying to figure out how that clip went back on was tricky. I finally did figure it out, the tab goes to the top! Be sure you fold and tuck in the tape strip and make sure tha battery cable stays tucked in the groove between the battery and components. When closing the screen do it in the SIDES don’t press it in the center. I just worked it down the sides and it snaps into the clips. Watch those screws, they are tiny and need to go back where they came. Note: after removing the battery bracket, J turned over the phone and another screw fell out!! I discovered that right below that bracket there is another screw that the screw you remove actually screwed into it! It’s a stand-off for the bracket and has a threaded hole for the screw toy just removed. It came loose and they don’t tell you about those. I had to put it back and use the driver they supply which isn’t an exact fit. Be careful not to strip it if that happens. "
"I bought the Manta screw kit, and the quality of materials is very nice. I've already used it to do some pc maintenance, and it works great. "

"I ordered the gripstick headphone jack tool on June 1st 2018, I received it on June 6th. I was so excited to open it because I have not had sound for a while. My auxiliary cord tip got stuck inside my headphone jack of my iPhone 6S Plus. So when I opened the tool, I was expecting something strong and not flimsy. I paid $24.99 plus shipping, making my total $29.99. I followed the instructions word for word and looked on forums for ifixit and still nothing. My husband tried it and it said on instructions “for a tougher job use pliers” so we did....well that cheap sucker bent in half. I contacted through email the ifixit support and that said I’m sorry you weren’t able to do it. And I’m like okay....please give me a refund for something that did not work. They said I’m sorry it’s “sold as is” and there are no refunds. So I’m giving heads up to people..don’t buy this piece of crap, find a person who can work on iPhones in your area. I found a man who took mine apart and fixed it for $20. You live you learn but I can’t stand a company that won’t stand behind their products. If it works as good as they say they would’ve tried to help or just give me a refund. "
"All did not work after repair. Followed video to the letter. Repair caused more issues. "
"Replaced my iPhone 6s screen. The parts from ifixit were absolutely impeccable. Definitely my #1 choice for iPhone parts. "
"I bought 2 iPhone 6s screens. One of them went totally off after four days of use. The other one has a white spot in its lower part. "
"Easily able to find the guides, help, and tool/equipment, I needed for my projects. Only two negatives is that one of my parts arrived with an issue and the repair kits I ordered for both "replacing iphone 6s plus battery/screen assembly" did not come with a very helpful tool called the IOpener, which was provided in a completely separate kit. "
"I ordered a new battery for iPhone6 10 days ago and still have not received it. Tracking number with USPS still says the same the day I placed the order sent to shipper. Trying to contact ifixit with no luck so far to get a refund. I will change my rating as soon as I get my refund or I will continue to post negative response's until I get satisfaction."
"Simple purchases are just that. Simple. Item descriptions are clear, Not over burdened with ads. You add to your cart, you edit your cart if needed. You complete purchase, You get an email with details of purchase, and when it ships.
Everything arrives appropriately packaged. Parts have always come protected with no bouncing around in box.
I had one item arrive damaged (no fault of ifixit), I called customer service, they sent a new one. (it was only a low dollar item, but that's besides the point). I think I spent maybe 4 minutes on the phone. As a PLT technician, I've spent hours on the phone with customer service/tech support in regards to B.O.B. (Bad out of Box) products. So i truly appreciate the customer service the Ifixit has.
"
"Fast turnaround on order and simple to follow instructions on replacing you defective or broken part. The only thing missing is when replacing the battery on a Surface you'll need to make sure you place a non conductive material between the contacts when removing the old one. Any spark will cause the fuse on the motherboard to trip. (New Board).
Keep up the good service! "
"They got my first order wrong. Had to cancel that order and reorder. Then some how they pulled address from years ago and sent it to the wrong house. Wouldn’t refund and resend order. "
"Super easy for first time user and very economical. If you do not use ifixit.com to fix your iphone you are being scammed. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!! POWER TO SAVE YOU MONEY!! "
