"Placed order over a week ago, and no communication since making the order. The website says the order was shipped Oct 29th with a USPS tracking number, and the USPS website says they only were notified of this shipment today, Nov 3rd. I'll update as this 'adventure' progresses."
"I first came to know this company by dealing with them through Amazon and ebay as they seemed to have good feedback. But recently, I've been dealing with them directly through their website due to their decent deals as posted on some forums. I've had multiple orders through them and all shipped on time. I've only had one mess up where they forgot to send a DVD that I requested - After speaking to Melissa over their chat support, she was very helpful and rectified the problem to my satisfaction. Only complaint I have is their website is a bit slow and sometimes has errors, but this is understandable seeing that it only happens during major sales and promotions. Over all an A+ for this company that seemed to have come out of no where. "
"Just as itsjustdad wrote on 9/25/09 at 9:56 AM for inetvideo, I can tell you he is absolutely correct. My experience is pretty much similar. Automated replies for which you CANNOT EVER get a human response to an e-mail you send to inetvideo !!!
Order 4 videos and only received 2. They ship each video from Canada and it comes in separate envelopes instead of in one.
Clearly, I am going to be required as per itsjustdad to get my credit card company involved in this since this company DOES NOT REPLY TO E-MAILS AT ALL EVER.
BAD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH, ESPECIALLY WHEN PROBLEMS ARISE. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE IN THE LONG RUN.
UPDATE August 9, 2010:
Did finally receive the 2 missing videos not received of the 4 that were ordered. These last 2 came 5 or 6 days after the first 2. Problem was, iNetVideo keep insisting they were mailed all at same time. According to post mark they were mailed a day apart. Also, it just seems that all replies to any message is some form of automated one. There never seems to be a actual human at the other end taking an active interest in your issue.
Well, at least all 4 movies arrived eventually. Clearly, there was a problem somewhere in the mail. Probably the United States Post Office caused the ridiculous delay between the receipt of the movied, not iNetVideo.
I would order from iNetVideo again, though I do still worry a bit about their customer service should a problem truly arise."
"I have gone through hell with this outfit. They ship from Canada using US Media Mail with no tracking. My order never arrived and communicating with them regarding a refund is like communicating with a mannequin.
They claim you have to wait 14 business days before even questioning that you didn't receive the order. Then they can't track it anyway.
Their responses are automated and it takes three e-mails to get a human response and the response is from someone who generally doesn't even know what you asked in the first place.
Finally had to get the credit card company involved. They challenged the charge on the grounds of failure to deliver the merchandise and iNetVideo refunded my credit card finally including the foreign excise tax.
Never again."
"iNetVideo ships from Canada, though it did not say that anywhere along the line as I made my order. Thus, the shipping was quite a bit slower than expected, though at least it does explain the somewhat higher shipping cost.
I did receive the movies I ordered, and they were all new and sealed. One had its' case broken, presumably from being shipped in a thinly padded envelope."
