"Ordered a vacuum battery that wouldn't hold a charge. Told I had to return it to a Walmart store. I am not going to take my time and use my gas to drive to Walmart. I issued a written complaint on their website. If they don't send me a return label, I will dispute the credit card charge. "

"In early July 2020, I bought a 3 pack of what was advertised as Makita 5Ah 18v power tool batteries from Overstock from a seller identified as "ISAVE". The photos used showed Makita batteries. When the order arrived, the batteries were knockoffs made by a company called Vanon, NOT Makita. I should have sent them back immediately but I wanted to see how well they worked - BIG mistake on my part. .
I charged them immediately on arrival and I used them 3 times and charged them 3 times. On the 4th charge (August 7), 2 of the 3 batteries were shown as non-functional by the Makita smart charger. I tried them in 3 different Makita chargers and they all showed the same result - defective.
I contacted ISAVE through Overstock and was told I had exceeded the return time period. I've had OEM Makita 18v 5Ah batteries last 7+ years. But 5 weeks is the limit for ISAVE and Overstock. They beat me out of $83 but I'll NEVER use Overstock or ISAVE again - ever. You should to the same and avoid these clowns.
With 70+ 1 star reviews as of the writing of this review, I have a LOT of company so this is not a "one off" bad report on a crummy company. It helps identify a very bad company doing very bad things to customers and using Overstock to legitimize their ability to sell junk. Do yourself a BIG favor and avoid ISAVE - they are also lurking around on Amazon so be carefull! "
"I ordered a 7 phone set for my future father in-law for Christmas. He very specifically asked for 7 phones. When I received the package on 12/2 I only received 6 phones. I called the customer service team on 12/14. After repeatedly describing my problem to them, they told me they would look into it and call me back. After not hearing anything I called back on 12/18 and was told the same thing. I ended up giving the gift with only the 6 phones and never heard anything back. I recently went to follow up on it (after my future father in-law brought it up again) and was told that although they had both my grievance and prior calls on record, that nothing was ever done with my complaint on their end. Even though I was explicitly told I would be contacted by them, I was told that nothing could be done now because I didn't follow up on it sooner. Now they want me to call them back tomorrow during the middle of my workday to hear them confirm there's nothing that can be done. I've worked in customer service most of my adult life. This is not how it's supposed to be done. I can't even get my money back for the phone I didn't receive now. Fool me once, shame on you. I will not be purchasing through them again. "

2 days later, they cancelled order, claiming they r out of stock. (Price on the sets of chairs where exceptional). "I ordered 5 refrigerator filters which come packaged in individual boxes. I saw their 30 day refund note on the packing slip, so I immediately checked all the boxes to ensure I had the correct filters. The boxes were all correct. I have been replacing the filters periodically over a year and a half. I just opened a box to find they had the wrong filter in the box. I sent them an email and they declined to refund due to it being past 30 days. Not even an offer to replace. Be careful when you order- don't trust that the item is correct just because the outside box is. No a good sign that they can't pack their products correctly and won't take responsibility for it."
"The message on my receipt says "If you cannot leave a 5 Star feedback, please contact us beforehand. A 5 star rating is important to us". So, I called them and told them the battery lasted only 3 months. I was told I had to return in withing 30 days of purchase in order to get a refund. Well, in 30 days it was still working, but by 90 days it was dead. So, they do not stand behind defective products.
I will not use these people again."
