I received the order confirmation and order update email that said flowers were on the way.
At 5 pm I checked the website and it confirmed the order was on the way.
At 7 pm it had had not arrived so checked the status again, it had changed to Status unknown please contact customer care.
Emailed Customer Care (this should be Customer Don't Care).
Received reply within 24 hours so that was good but no apology for failing to deliver the order and claimed it was delivered next day.
I replied that this was not true, reply from CC was the flowers were left on the doorstep at 14:15 in the shade.
Our front step has full sun, there is no shade at that time of the day. If the florist who claimed to deliver the order did not get an answer why did they not leave leave a card as per the details on their website. Or they could have phoned or emailed, they have the contact details. It looks like the florist is telling porkies.
The very least Interflora could have done was to send a small bunch of flowers to say sorry. They clearly do not value their customers.
Now waiting for a refund.
I will go back to using M&S or John Lewis who understand Customer Care
Well done Interflora for spoiling our Ruby Anniversary and losing a customer plus other potential customers that will read this review."
