"There was only one issue with our mailbox. Once we hung it, we realized its lid did not open enough to get into it. There were no instructions or diagram exhibiting that a "stand-off" was needed in order for the lid to completely open. The lid actually slides behind the mailbox. So we reinstalled it using a rubber washer that allowed the box to stand away from the wall with room to spare for the lid to slide behind the mailbox. This was just an unexpected hiccup. The mailbox is wonderful! Just alert others. Merci!
