"Our original lock failed and had to be replaced. It had an inside tab that was up in the locked position and inline with the key. The body fit the circular hole flattened on the sides. The new lock would not fit the vertical hole as the tab was in the open position when the key could be removed. With it placed so that the tab was locked, the key could not be removed. I had to file the hole round and seat the lock sideways with the key slot horizontal. It now works OK."

"Your products are over all very good. We have purchased and I have installed 8 of them in the last year. The thing that is annoying are the set screws on the decorative bases. out of 32 set screws (4 in each of the 8 CBUs), we were able to use MAYBE 3 of them, the rest are stuck sticking out or we couldn't use them at all...not sure why but the threads aren't letting the set screws go all the way in, a number of them are sticking out almost an inch, so stuck we can't remove them.

Another thing that happened in two of the 8 CBUs we purchased was the "slot stickers" for the keys weren't put on them so we had to play "find the lock" and put our own labels on each set of the 16 keys.

Lastly, on one of the decorative tops we only had 3 of the 4 set screws, so it is held on by those three.

Relatively minor issues, but since we paid around $17,000 for the eight 16 slot CBUs, it would have been great for everything to be perfect! "
