"All I needed was the actual size opening of the hole to mount my vertical mailbox (measurements should be included). I understand the reason for it giving screw type etc but jeez how hard is it to give the size of opening? I called customer service who said they don’t have the measurement of opening. I asked for supervisor who picked up. She was from “customer relations”. Horrible attitude, interrupted me like I was a moron and said just to please me she’ll look up the size and email me. I didn’t receive the email, rather I had to carry the MB into my local hardware store for them to give exact opening measurements. I buy and sell homes and will not be purchasing from you again. Congrats on being American made which is very important to me. I will be buying future boxes from another American made company.

"I purchased the Salsbury Heavy Duty Rural Mailbox - Green along with the Classic Mailbox Post - Green. The quality (and weight) actually exceeded my expectations. The instructions made it simple to assemble. I followed the instructions for the concrete footing (42" in my area"), inserted the base into the wet concrete and let it set for a few days then attached the post and mailbox. Unlike most of my neighbors, my Salsbury mailbox is perfectly level, vertically and horizontally. I wish I had purchased this years ago."
