"Sold me a Canadian TV that US samsung won't touch and I'm just stuck with it they b.s me on replacing it and kept warrant money. Stay away from this company."
"We have been with this company for about 2 years. Paying our by weekly payments faithfully. Did ask to defer 2 payments do to some financial issues that came up.
But have faithfully continued to pay.
I contacted them concerning the balance owed and to get the payoff. I asked them if there was anyway we could somehow lower the finance charges, since we would be paying this account off 18 months years early. Was told absolutely not. Lady proceeded to tell me( in so many words) that it was ridiculous for even asking. I then asked to speak with her supervisor in which supervisor technically said same thing.
I thin proceeded to ask for her supervisor and was informed that her supervisor was the CEO. So I said ok then let me speak to the CEO. She then told me that the CEO doesn’t and will not speak to the common customer. She is to busy with other issues to speak to the common customer.
I said ok then I will contact your corporate headquarters, which come to find out is in India.
I’m at a lose for words with all this.
I have never been treated and talked to so horrible by a finance company.
You would think they would be willing to help out customers.
I honestly would of used this company in the future. But with this I never will and will let everyone know how they treat people.

Attention to anyone considering going this route. Bad credit or not there is lots of other places you can get very nice items through..this is not one of them . I have been disgruntled since day one. Continued to make my payments Because I made the mistake of signing up for it and had to own it.. however we’re are 700$ of payments in and 6 months... my couch has been breaking since day one. Every day a piece of wood breaks (yes I said it wood) inside the backing,sometimes if someone sits to hard a piece of wood cracks on the base, all the cushions are sunk in entirely ,one of them is smooshed like a pancake.
Now onto the computer First one they delivered was smashed. (I get it. Stuff happens sometimes). They did get me a second one. I opened it up made sure it worked and wasn’t smashed.. it turned on all was well. About a month later I went to physically use it when I started my online classes. This is when I realized it didn’t work unless it was plugged in with charger.

Now I have a computer that only works while plugged in.. of corse I call but I “didn’t purchase the extra protection” ok lol didn’t know if need extra protection for something brand new... anyway. I’ve got to a point of fixing my credit. I looked into this account I realized I’ve paid 700$ for these items. Hoping at best I’d owe a little more money.. nope. It says I owe 2150
Lol. So I am paying close to 3k for a crappy couch and a computer that looks nice in pictures but can’t actually use for my school work..
Look this mistake is all on me for signing with them. My biggest disappointment is that they couldn’t hear me on that snd meet me in the middle. In other words I’m ready to settle the entire account 60 payments early and yet they couldn’t chop my bottom line down.. there’s no way for me to get around paying them this kind of money.. so as of now I’m not and hoping my complaints to bbb work out.. but likely this will be on my credit and I will have to settle. Which is fine I can own my mistake... but I one hundred percent will be making reviews regularly to make people aware of my mistake and avoid getting into buisness with mdg. "
"I have had three seperate items that I purchased through MDG and didn't have any issues until I went to pay off my agreements.
Paid off my first two with no issues. However, my third agreement is proving to be difficult. I kept track of my balance via my online portal. I checked my statements and paid off my agreement according to what my statement said. Finally got to the remaining $12.80 which I paid Jan 15. Jan 20 (my regular payment date) another 12.80 comes out. My regular payment is just over $80 so one would think that my account would be closed with the final payment made....WRONG. They added an additional $244 charge on my account so now my online portal shows that I owe $235.
Called to speak to financing. They said someone would look in to it. No one phoned me back.
This is ridiculous. I will never be using MDG again and I will not be referring any one to them. Crooks!"
"Absolutely incredible, woke up randomly, went on Facebook, saw ad for a laptop, checked it out, applied at 3am got approved, got laptop within 2 weeks. Would’ve went with visions but these guys are way better with financing!"
"I received my television that I ordered and as soon as I unpacked it I saw the screen was completely shattered. They are sending me a replacement and the costumer service people are very nice but it is taking awhile for the replacement to arrive. I sold my other television to make room for the new one. Other than that I have had a great experience! "

"They will rip you off, I purchased a TV combo and the total amount I was financing was around $1100 and they have a payment calculator that shows even at 35% interest it showed that my payoff amount for the whole thing be $1532 and that would be a $30 payment biweekly And the number of payments would be 53 I am now at two years paying $60 a month and they’re telling me that my balance is still almost $800 which if you calculated is wrong there’s no way that I still owe that much money because when you calculate the 23 payments of monthly $64 a month that I have paid in it comes to $1472 which if you do the math I have 60 more dollars and it’s paid off but according to them I owe them $800 though they’re trying to tell me that it is 35% yearly well that’s not what their arrangement was and their payment calculator that they gave me shows if that was the fact why would they tell me and on paper that I had to make 53 payments and everything was over they are a huge and giant scam they will not work with you the person that I dealt with sat there and cussed with me I told them I’m not paying another dime and I spoke with an attorney and they told me don’t pay them another dime either and that if they come after me that I will file a counter suit against him because I have all the paperwork and I have my bank statement showing what I have paid they are a giant rip off do not get anything from this company and they will also turn around and put your signature on documents because it’s an electronica signature which just shows your type name and they have made up extra documents that I’ve never even seen and it was months after I had started the entire account when I open the account I made all of my payments on time all the time and I went over everything with the people and I had everything documented and their own website tells you exactly what your payoff is and how many payments it’s going to take and everything else do not listen to any of that because they make up their own amounts of what you owe them like I said if you go back to the beginning of the numbers I gave you how is it an $1100 item that I was financing turns into me paying already $1500 in and they’re still saying I owe them another $800 so as you can see it is a rip off and like I said they can try to fight it in court but my attorney has told me that they will lose because clearly I have the paperwork showing how many payments that I had to make to pay everything off and close my account and I’m already there But they will lie to you threaten to take you to court and all this other stuff and they will continue to take money out of your bank account unless you stop it and close it so if I were you I would go to Aaron Rents or Buddys financing Or the other Rental Pl., Rent-A-Center I mean I can tell you right now I bought a TV that was twice as big and it was lesser than the amount of what I bought from them and it took me a year to pay that off and they didn’t try to rip me off so beware of this please do not get anything from them because they will continue to rip you off And when I told the representative that I wasnt an idiot and I gave him all my documentation over the phone his comments were well it shows right here in the computer that you still owe us $800 and I asked him is he a moron can he not add but if you are in a contract with these people make sure to keep all of your receipts and document all of your bank purchases and the receipt number that it gives you on your bank withdrawal line because these people are crooks and they will keep taking money out and saying you still owe money when you have passed the point of paying it off."

"Almost everything went well. Great shipping time the employees I talked to on the phone were great. The biggest issue was address verification that was so complicated and took so long to do. It was hard to find some mail when almost everything is paperless billing that they do not accept as proof of address. They do not accept ID either as proof. I was lucky enough to find one bill I never set as paperless. This process should for sure be updated to today's standards. I did however receive the product and it is exactly what was advertised and I am happy with it. The down fall is I now have 2 laptops because this process took so long I just went to walmart and purchased one as well because I needed it and was already 2 weeks into trying to finance one from MDG and knew It was going to take a long while at that point. It was about a 3 weeks from placing the order to receiving the item.
I will not be able to make further purchases as all my bills are now paperless and that is the way I like it.
Please note purchase date was when we finally verified everything and the order was placed. I started the order almost 2 weeks prior and received the item 8/20 thursday

"So the first time I placed a order they wanted $800 down. I said never mind went with a different company. Year later they email saying am approved for a $1500. Im about to have shoulder surgery so I thought the ac unit would be nice. That was a joke. Did everything they asked for then for it to go through another department to say my saving account is not my primary account. Which is not true. I use my saving account for everything. And if I can then I use my other prepaid card. Well pretty in the end I went with Aaron's for my ac unit didn't have to pit anything down and it was so much easier with a bigger spending limit. Oh ya all my paycheck get deposited to the saving account. The only thing this company has going is cheaper payment. "
