"Update: Received a call from Monoprice today and we dug into what went wrong while we were on the phone. I found their rep to be sincere about resolving the issue to include an offer to overnight the replacement which I declined as unnecessary. So we went from non-responsive (my emails were going to an employee who had left and she assured me that IT would fix that issue immediately) to going above and beyond, which frankly is what I expected of them.
Original Post: For simple things that are either really cheap or unlikely to break, Monoprice is a great source. For anything more involved, or anything where you may need warranty support I now shop elsewhere. Unresponsive would be a step up for them. I've gone from referring lots of people to them for great deals to referring people elsewhere. Extremely disappointing. The exception is things such as hook and loop straps and like items."
