Terrible

"Company cancelled 2 of my collections from home no reason why! Also gave themselves a review of 5 stars on my account absolutely fraudulent
I'm dumbfounded it's laughable how bad the service is. Also had an international collection booked 3 times they didn't turn up!! Driver has given no reason why and all they offer is to rebook

Avoid Hermes at all cost!

"Horrible experience. I bought a pair of $700 hermes sandals for my wife for Christmas. She literally tried them on in the bedroom and immediately noticed they were too small so she took them off and we returned the pair. A month later Hermes contacted me stating that they will not issue a refund because the sandals were not in their original condition. Complete BS and fraudulent and I will never ever ever purchase Hermes products and suggest you avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of other high value/class options out there with much better customer service."

"Warning warning warning do not use Hermes delivery use another company ...that you can get in contact with. You get you parcel delivered on time and thay actually arrive. I have ordered three things with Hermes over the last three weeks and not one has got delivered...."

Awful Service. Cheap for a reason. Nasty Company

"Item was posted 17/12. In transit to national hub on 18th. No movement since then. Delivery was suppose to be days ago. So now someone won't be getting a present this Christmas.

Hermes support is shocking. Don't even try, a useless live chat bot, and a useless phone bot. No human contacts. They only respond to the big verified users on twitter... I only got my response when I emailed their CEO directly (Martijn De Lange) and copied in support, that is the level of we simply don't care you are dealing with.

And after all that, it took Hermes CS 15 hours to respond that "after extensive investigations we were unable to locate the parcel" so they advised I submit a Lost claim form (which they will assess in 28days).

Funny that my Parcel was likely in a large box, and apparently never made it to the national hub. I dare say the driver thought it was a PS5 and nabbed it.

Online videos+images of Hermes drivers have shown:
-Staff launching Christmas parcels about at a depot
-Drivers hurling parcels to driveways from their car
-Drivers dumping large piles of parcels in bushes
-Parcels delivered ripped apart, taped back together
-Drivers stealing parcels

This company simply does not care. Go and look at their Twitter page, the amount of people posting very damning images/videos should encourage anyone not to use Hermes ever again.

Completely Useless

"The best I can hope for with my local hermes is that stuff arrives very, very late, often after I've already had a refund from the seller. Latest "delivery" was "out for delivery" for 4 days then suddenly became "undeliverable". Other couriers have no problem delivering on time. Why is hermes incapable of doing it? I'm shocked that hermes is an approved courier for amazon. I'm looking for alternatives as I'm sick of relying on a totally unreliable courier."

Hermes

"Worst service ever. Avoid by all means. The first message I received said that delivery will be between 15.00-17.00 hours. They tried to deliver at 13.00hrs obviously there was no one at home. They promised to deliver the next working day, they never delivered, the same again promising to deliver the next working day same story nothing delivered. I had to write to Hermes COO with a severe complaint. Am waiting to see if there will be a delivery."

Shocking Service

"Hermes have to be the worst courier service in the UK. Why companies such as ASOS use them is beyond me. When customers are paying for next day delivery and Hermes can't even deliver within the week! I've had TV's 'lost' by Hermes on 2 occasions when I ordered from Amazon. In the end I ordered from John Lewis who don't use Hermes thank god and what a surprise the TV arrived safe and on time. The constant 'no one was home' BS when my delivery address is a Car Dealership! There is a receptionist sitting at the front door! When you have ordered something and you receive the dreaded 'there is a delay with your parcel' my stomach turns because I know I am now in for a battle trying to even communicate with someone to locate my items! And recently it turns out that their Trustpilot 5* reviews are all FAKE! So they are employing people to write FAKE reviews.. how low can a company be. "

Disgusting

"Hermes is The worst scam company to work for. I worked for them for 1 month. The Chatham depot manager Lisa Hyett, said that I’d be paid weekly for the first month but I only got paid 37 later than my first day of work.
Also, she told me that delivering the large boxes that she was giving me would pay £2 per package.
In the end I had delivered around 170-180 large boxes in 9 days and only got paid £144

Horrendous Hermes

"When trying to resolve any issues, no matter which route you choose, it is a dead loop giving basic information back, no matter what you try.

I have a number of parcels that have failed to reach me. Your driver is so inept that he clearly has not been to my property, no other company has any issues finding my house. The driver has claimed no one is home, I am able to prove that there has been people at the address. We work from home and run two business from home, we also have other people here working. The driver has also claimed there was no safe place to leave the parcel and no outbuilding, we have five large out outbuildings. In addition to the house, there is a cabin, a double garage, a shed, a large workshop and range of stone-built rooms. There are no excuses!

It also seems that there is little the sender is able to do in speaking to or gaining any access to a person or more usable interfaces. In fact one supplier told me that they are sick of Hermes, I quote 'not again, this never ends well' and have now switched their business.

I now search for suppliers who confirm they will not Hermes.

Hermes have been delivering goods to me for over three years.

"I have always been very satisfied with the service. I was expecting the delivery of a parcel yesterday. It did not arrive but I did get a message that it had been delivered. I also had a photo of a person (not me) receiving it at an address (not mine). I had two more parcels delivered today this time to me in person. I told the very helpful courier about my missing parcel of yesterday. He was so helpful and understood what had happened. He was able to collect my parcel from the address it had mistakenly been delivered to. I am so grateful for his help in rectifying an easy mistake to make and he did it in a very professional pleasant way. Very impressed."

Refusing to refund me.

"I paid for 24hr delivery, £145 accidental lost or damage, it arrived 48 hours later, driver left it in the window at the front Broard day light, when he came back home the package was stolen from the window, Hermes are passing the buck on and refusing to refund.me."

Non Existent Customer Care

"This is the last time I use Hermes. My parcel has been with my local depot for 10 days, no reasons for delay. Can't talk to a human. Made numerous contact with the robot & made phone calls, again with the robot, but they are absolutely useless & can't resolve anything. You can't complain, again only via robot. You are so unprofessional, what customer care do you provide? NONE. The parcel was delivered today. The seller has also now stopped using them due to this & other items dispatched same day having a long delay. Get your act together & provide a professional service, which you claim to do & employ humans to deal with customer enquiries & complaints."
